Influence of top-dressing is considered in the article, norms and terms of sowing on of winter-annual rape. The assessment conducted by the yield of green mass and seeds, output capacity by about 1 hectare of dry matter, feed units and digestible protein, the number of dead plants and density of herbage. Established that hardiness and productivity of winter rape can be enhanced through the use of farming practices as: by creating a moderate density of herbage, using optimal terms of planting and doses of mineral fertilizers, selection of predecessors and careful preparation of the soil ect. The mechanism of influence of agrotechnical receptions is exposed on of winter-annual rape through determination in roots before the offensive of the winter of separate biochemical indexes (sugar, starch, to protein).

The temperature factor is one of the limiting factors for obtaining high yields of crops, so one of the main tasks of selection is to search for temperature-resistant genotypes and to create on their basis the banks of crops with high temperature stability. The first step to solving this problem is to conduct a rapid assessment of the temperature plasticity of large populations and to isolate breeding-valuable genotypes from them. There are numerous methods that allow, in the short term with minimal technical and material costs, to carry out an initial assessment of a large number of genotypes at sporophytic level and differentiate them by resistance to the temperature factor. These methods include the method of estimating pollen populations. These studies have repeatedly been conducted on many cultures, their correctness is due to the expression of a large part of the plant genome, both at the diploid and haploid levels of development and demonstrated by many studies in this direction. The aim of our study was to study the stability of gametophyte and sporophyte of collecting varieties and varieties of winter rape to elevated temperatures, to study the correlation between the heat resistance of sporophyte and gametophyte.

Reduction of amount CO2 is possible by carbon sequestration to the soil. Fixation potential of EU–15 agricultural land is c. 16–19 mil t C . year−1. Amount and composition of post–harvest residues is essential for carbon soil sequestration. Long–term yield series of the most planted crops (winter wheat – Triticum aestivum, spring barley – Hordeum vulgare, corn and silage maize – Zea mays, winter rape – Brassica napus, potatoes – Solanum tuberosum, sugar beet – Beta vulgaris, alfalfa – Medicago sativa, red clover – Trifolium pratense, white mustard – Sinapis alba and fiddleneck – Phacelia tanacetifolia) in various agroecological conditions and growing technologies were used for carbon balance calculation. The carbon balances were calculated for main crop rotations of maize, sugar beet, cereal and potato production regions (24 crop rotations). The calculations were realized for following planting varieties: traditional, commercial, ecological and with higher rate of winter rape. All chosen crop rotations (except seven) have positive carbon balance in the tillage system. Amount of fixed carbon might be increases about 30% by the use of no–tillage system. Least amount of carbon is fixed by potatoes, high amount by cereals, alfalfa and sugar beet. For a short time (months) the crops sequestration of carbon is relatively high (to 4.4 t . ha−1 . year−1) or to 5.7 t . ha−1 . year−1 for no–tillage system. From the long time viewpoint (tens of years) the data of humified carbon in arable soil (max 400 kg C . ha−1 . year−1) are important. Maximal carbon deficit of chosen crop rotation is 725 kg C . year−1.

Relevance of research. Due to ongoing climate change, almost the entire territory of the Steppe of Ukraine by annual humidity factor belongs to the dry and very dry zones, the relative area of which has increased by 13.2% of the total area of the country compared to the 1960-1990s. At the same time, for today in Ukraine only about 500 thousand hectares are actually irrigated, that is 19% of the potential area. Purpose of research. To determine the patterns and trends of climate change in the western part of the dry Steppe of Ukraine and analyze the economic indicators of production activity in the region as to the variable weather conditions. Research methodology. Climate change was estimated on the basis of Climate Water Balance (CWB) and Hydrothermal Coefficient (HTC) values. The analysis of the economic efficiency of agricultural production was carried out by analyzing the statistical data for Odessa region and for the chosen agricultural enterprise. Research results and conclusions. The use of significant heat supply in the dry Steppe zone is limited by insufficient water supply conditions. In the years of 1991-2016  the average annual rainfall was 480 mm and since the early 2000s there has been a slight increase in that. However, even having 500-550 mm of average annual rainfall that has been observed over the past five years, it is not enough for providing high-yield agricultural production. High thermal regime couses high evaporation that in turn, leads to water supply deficit, which at the end of the growing season amounts to 336-436 mm. According to the HTC index in the region 80% of cases show severe and moderately arid vegetation conditions. At the same time, irrigation area in the region has decreased to a minimum, which has led to the domination of winter cereals and sunflower in the cropping system. Under variable weather conditions, winter wheat yields ranged from 19.4 to 38.5 c/ ha (31.4 c/ha on average) and sunflower - from 12.2 to 21.4 c/ha (17.4 c/ha on average), winter rape - from 13.1 to 20.9 c/ha (18.2 c/ha). It was proved a close direct relationship between the sale price of products of all studied crops and their cost price, as well as the inverse relationship of these indicators with the crop yield. The profitability of winter wheat from 2011 till 2016 ranged from 17 to 153 USD/ha with an average value of 86 USD/ha, winter rape - from 39 to 273 USD/ha with an average value of 166 USD  ha and sunflower - from 116 to 315 USD/ha with an average value of 192 USD/ha. Corn and soybeans have proven to be unprofitable in some years, which obviously explains rather small areas under these crops in the region. Above mentioned demonstrates the high economic instability of agricultural production in changing weather conditions, which is accompanied by significant risks for producers, especially when attracting credits. This situation, in turn, leads to a limited use of intensification means, in particular mineral fertilizers, which promotes agrochemical soil degradation. Under unstable water supply, the magnitude of net profit variation per hectare of arable land in Odessa region is 33-188 USD/ha (111 USD/ha on average). It is possible to increase these indicators by increasing the share of winter rape in the cropping system. With the optimization of the water and air soil regimes as well as crop rotation factor, the profitability of agricultural production in the region can be increased up to 580-600 USD/ha. Similar results were obtained after analyzing the statistical data from the southern regions within the dry steppe zone.

The results of researches of influence of ways of application of growth regulator "Vermiyodis" and sowing norms on productivity of winter rape of Cheremosh and hybrid Mercedes are covered. The study was performed during 2017-2020 on sod-podzolic soils of the experimental field of the Carpathian State Agricultural Research Station of the Institute of Agriculture of the Carpathian region of NAAS Taking into account the yield, it was found that the pre-sowing treatment of winter rapeseed Cheremosh with growth regulator "Vermiyodis" at a dose of 5 l / ha on average for 2017-2020 at sowing rates of 0.6 million / ha of similar seeds, the yield was 3.60 t / ha or 0.26 t / ha more than control, for sowing rates 0.8 million / ha of similar seeds - 3.92 t / ha or 0.21 t / ha more than control, for sowing rates 1.0 million / ha of similar seeds - 3.46 t / ha or 0.23 t / ha more than control. With a single spraying of winter oilseed rape plants during the growing season with the growth regulator "Vermiyodis" at a dose of 4 l / ha at sowing rates of 0.6 million / ha of similar seeds, the yield was 3.62 t / ha or 0.28 t / ha more control, with at the sowing rate of 0.8 million / ha of similar seeds, the yield was 3.94 t / ha or 0.33 t / ha more than the control, at the sowing rate of 1.0 million / ha of similar seeds, the yield was 3.48 t / ha or 0.25 t / ha more than control.
