Abstract Landslides in mountainous areas act as an important control on morphological landscape evolution and represent a major natural hazard. The dynamic characteristics of a landslide directly relate to the distance it traveled and the scale of the resulting disaster. Based on extensive field investigations, we explored the effect of impact scraping on high-position landslides. During a rapid landslide, impact scraping amplifies the volume of the landslide and the size of the area affected by the landslide. Without acknowledging this effect, it is easy to underestimate the risk presented by a given potential landslide. In this study, we investigate the impact scraping of landslides that travel for significant distances both vertically (high-position) and horizontally (long-runout). There are four developmental stages of high-position, long-runout landslides: high-position shearing, gravitational acceleration, impact scraping, and debris deposition. Impact scraping amplifies the scale of the disaster by drastically increasing the volume of the landslide debris. After accounting for the effect of impact scraping, the total volume of the landslide exhibits a strong correlation with its travel distance. Additionally, the material properties of the erodible layer influence the landslide mobility. High-position and long-runout landslides have multiple scraping modes, including the embedding and excavation mode, the entrainment mode, the pushing and sliding mode, and the impact and splashing mode. In this study, we aim to provide insight that will improve the disaster modeling and risk assessment of high-position landslides, as well as to offer theoretical support for high-position and long-runout landslide dynamics research, disaster prevention and mitigation, and first responder rescue operation planning.

Sociologically, emotional intelligence is an important part of this study to build leadership social behavior in the management of Islamic education, so that it can color the dynamics of leadership so far and can increase individual loyalty in the organization. Therefore, a leader in mobilizing, motivating and inspiring individuals in the organization requires an emotional approach as a model to awaken individuals in improving their performance culture. Thus the role and actions of leadership in various systems of Islamic education are essentially actualization processes of internalization values inherent in his personality, especially regarding (emotional intelligence). At the theoretical level, emotional intelligence is an important part in building ideal leadership. Portrait of emotional intelligence-based leadership can give birth to two leadership models, including: a) emotional intelligence-based leadership is seen as more effective, and has a strong influence on individual loyalty in Islamic education - even high and low emotional intelligence also affects the high and low loyalty and performance culture. b) the emotional intelligence of a leader cannot be measured by the level of education, even someone's degree. Therefore, it does not guarantee that someone who has a high position or has a high title has high emotional intelligence.

<p>Reactions carried out in the presence of rubber septa run the risk of additives being leached out by the solvent. Normally, such species are present at low enough levels that they do not interfere with the reaction significantly. However, when studying reactions using sensitive methods such as mass spectrometry, the appearance of even trace amounts of material can confuse dynamic analyses of reactions. A wide variety of additives are present in rubber along with the polymer: antioxidants, dyes, detergent, and vulcanization agents, and these are all especially problematic in negative ion mode. A redesigned Schlenk flask for pressurized sample infusion (PSI) is presented as a means of practically eliminating the presence of contaminants during reaction analyses.</p>

Woman establishes the strategicpart in the Indian society. Women in ancient India relished high position in society and their situation was worthy. The country is to study the position of its women. In certainty, the position of women represents the customary of values of any period. The social position of the women of a nation represents the social essence of the era. Though to appeal an assumption about the position of women is a problematic and difficult delinquent. It is consequently, essential to touch this situation in the historical perspective. The paper will help us to imagine the position of women in the historical perspective.

The influence of different systems of soil cultivation is considered - traditional (recommended) technology and direct sowing, which is increasingly used under dry conditions of the region. The rehabilitation of the degraded southern chernozems and dark chestnut soils structure during 13 and 7 years of direct sowing, respectively, has not been established. It takes much longer to rehabilitation the aggregate state of soils, which is currently in a critical condition of the content of aggregates> 10 mm in size and the sum of agronomically valuable aggregates. The soils under 60-year treeline, as a control, showed a satisfactory range of aggregates, which indicates a high degree of soil degradation in the past and a long period of their recovery time. The effectiveness of direct sowing usage in the cultivation of a wider range of grain and row crops (winter wheat, sunflower, peas, chickpeas, rapeseed, buckwheat, corn) is due to the peculiarities of agricultural technologies. Abandoning of naked fallows and soil treatments with the simultaneous use of plant residues and cover crops on the soil surface between the harvest and sowing of winter crops provides an anti-erosion effect and, as a consequence, a decrease in physical evaporation, an increase in moisture and biota reserves, an increase in microbiological processes, which are noted in the form trends in improving the agrochemical and agrophysical properties of soils.

The anti-erosion effect of fluoride on the enamel surface was investigated by ATR-FTIR, SEM and EDX techniques. Four extracted teeth (two incisors and two premolars) were initially bleached with carabamide peroxide and etched with ortho-phosphoric acid then fluoride treatment was applied. Significant differences in enamel composition and morphology were observed providing the effect of fluoride application in remineralization of teeth. Infrared spectroscopy was employed to probe the changes in enamel structure. Scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analysis revealed higher content in F of teeth enamel. Morphology changes revealed a re-mineralization of enamel surface after the treatment with fluoride gel.

In order to improve the erosion effect of jet under submergence condition, experimental studies of erosion generated from the self-excited pulsed jet was carried out by using developed self-excited oscillation nozzle. The erosion volume and depth of pulsed jet were measured and taking mortar block as an erosion part. The results were that the standoff has significant influence on erosion effect. The erosion volume firstly decreases with increases in cavity length and then increases to a peak value. Erosion volume of pulsed jet is significantly higher than that of continuous jet, the erosion depth of two jet has slight difference.

The graduate attributes of the University of Sydney innovatively include the enabling conceptions and the translation conceptions of attributes and ensure that they are specifically oriented, reasonably structured and comprehensively designed. These scientifically constructed graduate attributes of the University of Sydney prove strong efficiency by the university taking up a high position in QS Graduate Employability Rankings in recent years. Chinese top-level universities, in the process of building world-class universities, also face the task of revising the graduate attributes and substantially enhancing the quality of talents cultivation, and can, therefore, learn the successful experience to revise their own graduate attributes on the basis of universities’ history, vision and specialty, on the premise of a sound cognition of the connotation, levels, and relationship of graduate attributes, and by means of System Theory, Phenomenography and comparative study.
