Abstract Since the outbreak of the Syrian civil war in 2011, Lebanon has witnessed an influx of over one million refugees. This has placed a serious strain on Lebanon’s mental healthcare system, creating the need for an efficient intervention for refugees. Health workers were recruited from various centres and trained to deliver a module of 12 sessions in problem-solving skills in group format. Then, they recruited female Syrian refugees and Lebanese women to form groups and deliver the intervention in the host communities. Results showed that levels of anxiety and depression, as reported by the Hopkins Symptom Checklist screening tool, seemed to decrease significantly after the intervention. An additional outcome was that most of the participants felt supported by other women. These results demonstrated that a direct and short intervention with female refugees can lead to measurable improvements in their mental1 health and was perceived by participants as highly beneficial.

Kata kunci: adaptasi, pengalaman, schizophrenia, survivor THE EXPERIENCE OF SCHIZOPHRENIA SURVIVOR ADAPTATION POST-CARE IN HOSPITAL    ABSTRACTSchizophrenia is a severe mental disorder characterized by changes in a person's perceptions, thoughts, affect, and behaviour. Schizophrenia symptoms last for a minimum period of one month and deterioration of function lasts for a minimum of six months with a recurrence rate of 70 - 82%. Schizophrenia sufferers are often found to lack social support in optimizing the rehabilitation process after undergoing treatment at the hospital. Purpose to explore the experience of survivor schizophrenia adapting post-treatment. Method Qualitative with a phenomenological descriptive approach to 10 informants. Results found 5 adaptation post-treatment themes in the hospital namely how to deal with a problem, having a job after leaving the mental hospital, family support, environmental support and support of health workers. Conclusion: Adaptation of post-treatment schizophrenia survivors in hospital requires problem- solving skills, support from family and community.  Keywords: adaptation, experience, schizophrenia, survivor

Background: High demands in all conditions require proffesional health workers. In dealing with patients, health workers need high emotional intelligence and problem solving skills that are qualified to deal with various problems. Objective: To analyze correlation between emotional intelligence with problem solving skill of health student of Faculty of Medicine Universitas Hasanuddin. Method: This quantitative research was conducted in August-September 2017, using observational study design with cross sectional analytic approach. Population in this research is health students Faculty of Medicine Universitas Hasanuddin who forced in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 (N=1995). Sampling technique using cluster random sampling (n=333). The data were analyzed with Spearman’s Rho test. Results: More than half of respondents had a low emotional intelligence (58.3%) and  medium level of problem solving skill (51,4%). Correlation coefficient both of them is weak (r=0,222; p value = 0.000 <0,05). Conclusion: There is a weak correlation between emotional intelligence with problem solving skill of health student of Faculty of Medicine Hasanuddin University. The higher the emotional intelligence of the student, the higher the level of problem solving skill.

Abstract Diabetes  in women of reproductive age needs to be observed and watched out for. Risks associated with gestational diabetes include pre-natal morbidity and death as well as an increase in chronic cesarean delivery and hypertension in the mother. This study aims to determine the effect of diabetes mellitus on the psychology of WUS in Jambi City in Putri Ayu Health Center in Jambi City in 2019.Data were analyzed using univariate analysis, bivariate with chi square and multivariate using logistic regression analysis. Fertile Age Women (WUS) with higher education have the opportunity not to stress with OR 0.2. WUS with impaired physical health have the opportunity not to stress with OR 4.2. WUS with problem solving skills have the opportunity to not stress with OR 4.2. WUS with high knowledge have a no stress opportunity with OR 0.2. The level of education, physical health, problem solving skills and the level of knowledge of WUS sufferers of diabetes mellitus significantly influence psychology (stress). This research is expected to be able to provide information on knowledge and be able to detect early on the factors that affect the stress level of sufferers of diabetes mellitus by using a scoring scale that can be utilized by health workers in the service and as a reference for diabetes mellitus patients.

Abstract. Skilful collaborative problem-solving is becoming increasingly important in various life areas. However, researchers are still seeking ways to assess and foster this skill in individuals. In this study, we developed a computer-assisted assessment for collaborative behavior (COLBAS) following the experiment-based assessment of behavior approach (objective personality tests; Cattell, 1958 ). The instrument captures participants’ collaborative behavior in problem-solving tasks using the MicroDYN approach while participants work collaboratively with a computer-agent. COLBAS can thereby assess problem-solving and collaborative behavior expressed through communication acts. To investigate its validity, we administered COLBAS to 483 German seventh graders along with MicroDYN as a measure of individual problem-solving skills and questions regarding the motivation to collaborate. A latent confirmatory factor analysis suggested a five-dimensional construct with two problem-solving dimensions (knowledge acquisition and knowledge application) and three collaboration dimensions (questioning, asserting, and requesting). The results showed that extending MicroDYN to include collaborative aspects did not considerably change the measurement of problem-solving. Finally, students who were more motivated to collaborate interacted more with the computer-agent but also obtained worse problem-solving results.
