Kolej Komuniti Gerik (KKGP) recommended online learning as a physical learning substitute for educators and students to have an efficient and effective education. For online learning, students need a digital instrument such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, and others. Therefore, a survey was carried out to identify instrument and sources used by the student for online learning, to identify the type of operating system and version of the operating system on telecommunication devices used by the student for online learning, to identify the relationship between the type of operating system and current memory space in the telecommunication devices and to identify the relationship between internet sources and devices owned by the student for the online learning. Spearman's rank correlation coefficient analysis is used to get the relationship strength between two variables. Research result found that student preferred to use smartphone and laptop to conduct online learning. Students also preferred to use mobile internet as the main internet source. Statistic calculation results found that type of operating system and memory space are important to conduct online learning activities. Internet sources and devices used are not complemented to each other for online learning. Overall, almost all student has enough devices and sources for the online learning however student still requires appropriate devices and internet sources to fully conduct online learning activities.

Advances in computer technology have created opportunities for the development of a multimedia situational test in which responses are filmed with a webcam. This paper examined the relationship of a so-called webcam test with personality, cognitive ability, job experience, and academic performance. Data were collected among 153 psychology students. In line with our expectations, scores on the webcam test, intended to measure interpersonally oriented leadership, were related to extraversion, conscientiousness, emotional stability, and job experience. Furthermore, the webcam tests significantly predicted students’ learning activities during group meetings over and above a cognitive ability test and a personality questionnaire. Overall, this study demonstrates that webcam tests can be a valid complement to traditional predictors in selection contexts.

The aim of this research is; 1) investigating the level of online learning satisfaction among students during COVID 19; 2) analyzing the influence of differences in gender, years of study, major in determining online learning satisfaction among students during COVID 19; 3) to analyze the relationship between online learning satisfaction and student academic achievement during COVID 19. The population was 656 students at STKIP Singkawang, and then a sample of 357 students (87 males and 270 females) was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument in this study was adapted from Aman's Satisfaction instrument, which was then used to collect research data. Data analysis using SPSS with descriptive statistical techniques, MANOVA, and correlation. The results showed that online learning satisfaction was at a high level, meaning that students were satisfied with the online learning that had been implemented. The major differences have a significant effect on determining online learning satisfaction. Intercorrelation shows that there is a significant relationship on each indicator of online learning satisfaction with academic achievement, meaning that the higher the satisfaction felt by students in online learning, the student's academic achievement will increase.

To evaluate students’ online learning environments, the relationship between personality and online learning success, and students’ perceptions about online proctoring during mandatory remote delivery due to the pandemic, students responded to an online survey. Learning environments generally included houses and rarely included on-campus housing. The specific room type was predominantly the bedroom. Only conscientiousness was related positively to anticipated semester GPA. The positive relationship between anticipated and overall GPA supports the notion that more conscientious students tend to be successful in online learning situations, as online education was rated as slightly ineffective. A majority of students did not see a need for online proctoring due to the inability or time required to search for materials, which would only harm one’s performance. There is a need to research further the impact of the study environment, relationship of the students’ personality to learning success, and consequences of online proctoring during remote learning.

The change in educational paradigms has led to the need to define new methodological regulations that allow to consider the objects of pedagogical reality from a different angle. This led to the need to study traditional issues of pedagogy in an innovative context. The issue of forming students’ independent learning activities is not new for pedagogy. However, we present it from the perspective of an integrative-reflexive approach, which allowed us to identify its internal potential for personal development. The theoretical methods of pedagogical research used in the study: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, method of causal relationships research, etc., which allowed to mentally penetrate into the essence of the studied pedagogical phenomenon and rethink it in a new educational reality. It is established that the educational independent activity accumulates the reflexive and didactic potential for professional and personal formation and development in the process of studying at the university. The possibilities of reflexive discourse as a way of realizing the reflexive-didactic potential of educational independent activity in the learning process are determined. According to the structure of the process of reflection in educational independent activity we distinguish the stages of reflexive discourse: reflexive-indicative, reflexive-presentative and reflexive-realizational. We consider the relationship of these stages of the discourse with various types of reflection and features of self-assessment, self-analysis, self-design and self-realization as structural components of educational independent activity.
