Looking up data mainly depends on the designer. Automation of looking up related data of charts, curve resource is a key to automatic design of common components, and is neccessory to be solved for strength and structural design automation of common components. A continuous curve on the logarithmic coordinates taken automatically search algorithm and discrete forms of data management and automated check to take the basic data structure to solve all the data graphs and charts automatically check the computer taken. With computer technology, in mechanical product design, various standards curves and tables can be processed.

It discusses the development method of the direct slicing software using on three-dimensional model which can run in the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 environment. The author uses the secondary development tool Pro/TOOLKIT, which is used in Visual Studio 2008, to write the dynamic link library files which can run in the Pro/E environment with VC++ language. This paper provides the detailed analysis and discussion about the problems encountered in the course, and gives out the capable solutions.

In order to efficiently design a fixture, it is necessary to establish a standard fixel library for CAFD system. Therefore, a SQL Server-based development technology is first employed to manage the parameterized fixel models. And then, in order to construct a fixel model, MFC is adopted to carry out the secondary development of Unigraph environment. Thus, arbitrary fixel can be dimension-drive designed according to a parameterized fixel model. The establishment of the fixel library can to a great extent reduce the trivial and repetitive tasks in the fixture design.

This paper provides a method of automatic design for extendable truss based on CAD software. The method mainly consists of parametrical design, automatic assembly, interference checking and extraction of model properties. With Visual C + + as programming language, secondary development was done on automatic assembly and other related modules of CAD software, which can achieve parametrically automatic assembly, interference checking and automatically extracting properties of extendable truss model. Thus, this method can guide the design staff performing program design, improve the correctness and accuracy of design, shorten the design cycle of extendable truss and also has reference value on rapid design and development for other products.

According to integrated circuit (IC) devices, this study proposed a integrated automatic design platform including geometric modeling, finite element simulation analysis, experimental design etc. The platform is a software system, the development of which is driven by product design of IC device chambers. As a module of the platform, the electromagnetic fields simulation part is based on secondary development of Ansys HFSS and the Python language to transfer data, build model and analyze automatically. The validity of the electromagnetic simulation module is verified by an example of PECVD SC300 chamber.

Mastering science process skill is very beneficial in problem solving process. This research aimed to develop teaching materials such as science process skill-based textbooks on energy and its changes. The method used in this research was research and development, by using the 4D design, which include define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research and development method were used to produce a product and to test its efficiency. The result showed that the learning material fulfill the assessment criteria. The mean validation result of textbook showed a number of 3.58 indicated as a good category. Based on T test, it was proven that the use of textbooks is indeed influential towards the development of students’ science process skill.

Research conducted to develop drama text teaching materials based on the experience of the author of the drama script aims to make it easier for students to understand drama text material. In addition, based on the author's experience students are expected to emulate the author's creative process in writing a paper. The research method used in this research is the research and development method. Based on the results of the interview it can be concluded that the ability to write drama is determined based on mastery of the elements of drama and the ability to develop stories based on the author's experience. The process of writing drama is done in several steps: (1) searching for ideas based on personal experience, other people, or the surrounding environment; (2) processing ideas to find plots (characters), characters or characters that vary with their inner conflicts, settings and dialogues, interesting conflicts, and messages to be conveyed; (3) starts the process of writing drama with stages and elements of drama; (4) revision of drama products. Teaching material developed is presented from basic competencies of knowledge and basic competencies of learning skills. Based on experiments on developed teaching materials it is known that the average value of the ability to write plays gets a score exceeding the minimum criteria, so that the teaching materials used are effective. Based on observations it is known that teaching materials can help students in learning and student activities become more independent, and active.
