Escherichia coli P50 is a canine uropathogenic isolate sampled in the Wellington region of New Zealand. We report the draft genome sequence of this isolate, which contains characteristic virulence genes for urinary tract infections and is predicted to be capable of causing human infections.

Extraintestinal Escherichia coli sequence type 1193 (ST1193) is an important source of fluoroquinolone resistance, which has emerged in recent years. We report the first draft genome sequence and annotation of a multidrug-resistant E. coli ST1193 strain obtained from a wastewater treatment plant in Austria.

ABSTRACT We report the draft genome sequence of Escherichia coli ASBT-1, a representative of E. coli sequence type 155 (ST155), obtained from India. ABSTRACT Strains of Escherichia coli exhibit diverse biofilm formation capabilities. E. coli K-12 expresses the red, dry, and rough (rdar) morphotype below 30°C, whereas clinical isolates frequently display the rdar morphotype semiconstitutively. We sequenced the genomes of eight E. coli strains to subsequently investigate the molecular basis of semiconstitutive rdar morphotype expression.
