In this paper, we consider the generalized ghost dark energy in a Bianchi type-I metric (which is a spatially homogeneous and anisotropic) in the framework of Brans–Dicke theory. For this purpose, we use the squared sound speed [Formula: see text] the sign of which determines the stability of the model. At first, we obtain the equation of state parameter, ωΛ = pΛ/ρΛ, the deceleration parameter q and the evolution equation of the generalized ghost dark energy. We find that, in this case, ωΛ cannot cross the phantom line (ωΛ > –1) and eventually the universe approaches a de-Sitter phase of expansion (ωΛ → –1). Then, we extend our study to the case of generalized ghost dark energy in a non-isotropic and Brans–Dicke framework and find out that the transition of ωΛ to the phantom regime can be more easily accounted for than when it is restored into the Einstein field equations. In conclusion, we find evidence that the generalized ghost dark energy in BD theory can lead to a stable universe favored by observations at the present time.

AbstractWe investigate the generalized Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) ghost model of dark energy in the framework of Einstein gravity. First, we study the non-interacting generalized ghost dark energy in a flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) background. We obtain the equation of state parameter, w D = p/ρ, the deceleration parameter, and the evolution equation of the generalized ghost dark energy. We find that, in this case, w D cannot cross the phantom line (w D > −1) and eventually the universe approaches a de-Sitter phase of expansion (w D → −1). Then, we extend the study to the interacting ghost dark energy in both a flat and non-flat FRW universe. We find that the equation of state parameter of the interacting generalized ghost dark energy can cross the phantom line (w D < −1) provided the parameters of the model are chosen suitably. Finally, we constrain the model parameters by using the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method and a combined dataset of SNIa, CMB, BAO and X-ray gas mass fraction.

We study effects of anisotropy (although low) on the ghost and generalized ghost dark energy (DE) models in the framework of fractal cosmology. We obtain the equation of state parameter, [Formula: see text], the deceleration parameter, and the evolution equation of the ghost and generalized ghost dark energy. We find that, in both models, [Formula: see text] cannot cross the phantom line and eventually the universe approaches a de-Sitter phase of expansion. We show that the anisotropy effects on ghost and generalized ghost dark energy (GDE) in fractal cosmology correspond to [Formula: see text]CDM limit on the statefinder plane. We evaluate the anisotropy effects on both the linear perturbation and the spherical collapse from the DE models and compare them with the results of the DE of the Friedmann–Robertson–Walker and [Formula: see text]CDM models. We also show that in ghost and generalized ghost cosmologies, the growth factor [Formula: see text] rise front the values for an [Formula: see text]CDM universe. Finally, we constrain the model parameters by using the maximum likelihood analysis and a combined dataset of baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO) and OHD.

This work deals with dynamical system analysis of Holographic Dark Energy (HDE) cosmological model with different infra-red (IR)-cutoff. By suitable transformation of variables, the Einstein field equations are converted to an autonomous system. The critical points are determined and the stability of the equilibrium points are examined by Center Manifold Theory and Lyapunov function method. Possible bifurcation scenarios have also been explained.

The present study deals with a spatially homogeneous locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type-I dark energy cosmological model containing one dimensional cosmic string fluid source. The Einstein's field equations are solved by using a relation between the metric potentials and hybrid expansion law of average scale factor. We discuss accelerated expansion of our model through equation of state (ωde) and deceleration parameter (q). We observe that in the evolution of our model, the equation of state parameter starts from matter dominated phase ωde > -1/3 and ultimately attains a constant value in quintessence region (-1 < ωde < -1/3). The EoS parameter of the model never crosses the phantom divide line (ωde = 1). These facts are consistent with recent observations. We also discuss some other physical parameters.

Einstein field equations under spherically symmetric space–times are considered here in connection with dark energy investigation. A set of solutions is obtained for a kinematic Λ model, viz. [Formula: see text], without assuming any a priori value for the curvature constant and the equation-of-state parameter ω. Some interesting results, such as the nature of cosmic density Ω and deceleration parameter q, have been obtained with the consideration of two-fluid structure instead of the usual unifluid cosmological model.

AbstractIn this work devoted to the investigation of the Tsallis holographic dark energy (IR cut-off is Hubble radius) in homogeneous and anisotropic Kantowski–Sachs Universe within the frame-work of Saez–Ballester scalar tensor theory of gravitation. We have constructed non-interacting and interacting Tsallis holographic dark energy models by solving the field equations using the relationship between the metric potentials. This relation leads to a viable deceleration parameter model which exhibits a transition of the Universe from deceleration to acceleration. In interacting case, we focus on sign-changeable interaction between Tsallis holographic dark energy and dark matter. The dynamical parameters like equation of state parameter, energy densities of Tsallis holographic dark energy and dark matter, deceleration parameter, and statefinder parameters of the models are explained through graphical representation. And also, we discussed the stability analysis of the our models.

We investigate the ghost model of dark energy in the framework of DGP braneworld. We explore the cosmological consequences of this model by determining the equation of state parameter, ωD, the deceleration, and the density parameters. We also examine the stability of this model by studying the squared of the sound speed in the presence/absence of interaction term between dark energy and dark matter. We find out that in the absence of interaction between two dark sectors of the universe we have ωD→-1 in the late time, while in the presence of interaction ωD can cross the phantom line -1. In both cases the squared of sound speed vs2 does not show any signal of stability. We also determine the statefinder diagnosis of this model as well as the ωD-ωD′ plane and compare the results with the ΛCDM model. We find that ωD-ωD′ plane meets the freezing region in the absence of interaction between two dark sectors, while it meets both the thawing and the freezing regions in the interacting case.

The paper deals with a spatially homogeneous and anisotropic universe filled with perfect fluid and dark energy components. The two sources are assumed to interact minimally together with a special law of variation for the average Hubble's parameter in order to solve the Einstein's field equations. The law yields two explicit forms of the scale factor governing the Bianchi-V spacetime and constant values of deceleration parameter. The role of dark energy with variable equation of state parameter has been studied in detail in the evolution of Bianchi-V universe. It has been found that dark energy dominates the universe at the present epoch, which is consistent with the observations. The universe achieves flatness after the dominance of dark energy. The physical behavior of the universe has been discussed in detail.

A ghost dark energy model has been recently put forward to explain the current accelerated expansion of the universe. In this model, we develop the general scheme for modified f(R) gravity reconstruction from realistic anisotropic Bianchi type I cosmology. Power-law volumetric expansion is used to obtain exact solutions of the field equations. We discuss the physical behavior of the solutions and anisotropy behavior of the fluid, the expansion parameter, and the model in future evolution of the universe. We reconstruct corresponding f(R) gravities and obtain the equation of state parameter. We show that the corresponding f(R) gravity of the ghost dark energy model can behave like phantom or quintessence of the selected models that describe accelerated expansion of the universe.

In this work, we regard f(R, T) gravity as an effective description of the acceleration of the universe and reconstruct the function f(R, T) from the holographic Ricci dark energy by considering a Bianchi type I universe. So the connection gives us an opportunity to redefine the Hubble parameter, the pressure, the equations of state parameter, and the energy density parameter representation by considering Bianchi type I models for holographic Ricci dark energy. We wrap up the evolution of the accelerated expansion of the anisotropic universe, which is faster than the evolution of the FRW and ΛCDM models.
