The superradiance phenomena of massive bosons and fermions in the Kerr space–time are studied in the Bargmann–Wigner formulation. In case of bi-spinor, the four independent components spinors correspond to the four bosonic freedom: one scalar and three vectors uniquely. The consistent description of the Bargmann–Wigner equations between fermions and bosons shows that the superradiance of the type with positive energy (0 < ω) and negative momentum near horizon (p H < 0) is shown not to occur. On the other hand, the superradiance of the type with negative energy (ω < 0) and positive momentum near horizon (0 < p H ) is still possible for both scalar bosons and spinor fermions.

Abstract The paper is an overview of issues related to the space creation of a building, possibilities of developing frame structure and connections of force distribution in the construction. In plane the force distribution can be compression, bending and tension. In space “enclosing” a geometric solid means space creation. In space as it is to be expected, the force distribution must be compression, bending and tension in two different directions at the same time. This can be really variant but in the case of surface or surface-like constructions generated by translations (and/or rotations) on one hand, there are some other surfaces, which cannot be generated by translations (and/or rotations), on the other hand, the dimension of the inside “forces” is not two but three (independent components of a two-by-two tensor either in the case of compression tension, or in the case of bending). By this, force distribution is more complicated in space than in plane.

The book of Amos contains many undertones of threat, except in the epilogue which, according to many scholars, is redactional The question thus comes to the fore whether this characteristic implies that God is seen by Amos as a God of threat for whom one can only have fear. This article, however, points out Amos’ moral justification of God's deeds. Israel's actions, on the other hand, display a self-centredness and a lack of theocentric and personal approach. Within this framework the history of salvation, especially the exodus and the conquest of the land, as well as the election, covenant and the idea of the remnant, is fossilised and God is made a captive of space, time and relations. However, Amos' proclamation implies that in reality God cannot be made captive - neither of such a religion nor of a theology of threat. Amos envisions a situation in which everything will comply with the real aim set for it/him.

In the present study, the aim was to determine alteration of NEFA, calcium and vitamin D3 levels in cow and calf pairs at parturition as well as correlation between each parameter levels. For this purpose, a cow-side device employing the enzymatic colorimetric method was used for measurement of NEFA and calcium levels. On the other hand, serum 25(OH)D3 analysis was performed using the fluorescence immunochromatographic method at the laboratory in the Faculty. Blood samples were taken from Vena jugularis of 15 Simmental cow and calf pairs immediately after parturition and placed in serum and heparinized tubes. In cow and calf pairs, concentration of vitamin D3 (15.6-120 and 31.8-120 ng/mL, respectively), NEFA (0.12-1.2 and 0.09-0.8 mmol/L, respectively) and calcium (1.8 ± 0.9 and 2.2 ± 0.6 mmol/L, respectively) were determined. There was no significant correlation between NEFA, Ca, and vitamin D3 in cows and calf pairs. Taking into account several co-factors that influenced test results, which could not easily be excluded, further studies may be warranted with larger cow-calf pair populations. In conclusion, vitamin D3 concentration in calves is not affected by the negative energy balance of dams in the parturition period.

Violence has been a part of daily life in both traditional and digital media. Consequently, neither the existence of violence in the media nor the debates on this subject are new. On the other hand, the presentation of violence in fictional content should be viewed from a different point of view, especially in the context of aesthetization. Within this context, in this chapter, the serial of Penny Dreadful is analyzed. As analyzing method, Tahsin Yücel's model of the “space/time coordinates of narrative” is used. And the subject of “aestheticization of violence” is analyzed through a serial with the elements of person, space, and time. Thus, the role of not only physical beauty but also different components in the aestheticization of violence is examined.

SUMMARYSixteen energy and N-balance trials with six sows were performed to study the energy requirement and protein gain of the animals during different stages in the second half of pregnancy. Energy and N-balances were measured during periods of 1 week and gaseous exchange was measured in a respiration chamber. The animals received 2·0,2·5,2·75 or 3 0 kg/day of a normal concentrate ration for sows. In one experiment, one animal had a negative energy balance on the 2 kg ration in the sixth week of pregnancy but in the other experiments the dietary energy intake was sufficient for positive energy balances until a few days before parturition. The N-balances were about 20 to 32 g/day in the second half of the gestation period. With 2·5 and 2·75 kg feed there was a negative deposition of fat at about 2 weeks before parturition. Heat production increased during pregnancy, but at a greater rate during the last 2 weeks. Until 2 to 3 weeks before parturition 2·5 to 2·75 kg of feed seemed to be adequate to meet the energy requirement of a pregnant sow of 180–200 kg live weight. During the last 2 weeks 3 kg was sufficient.

Reflections on quilombola school education: elements for teaching practice AbstractThe understanding of a quilombo as a resistance territory and african culture preservation territory permeates the words of several researchers, such as Almeida, O’Dwyer and Arruti, being inserted in the last author’s analysis the changes in meaning suffered by the expression and the historical determinants which brought those to light. – It’s precisely the change in meaning, still according to Arruti, who interprets a quilombo as a space/time of resistance that will compose the flags of the United Black Movement (UBM). On the other hand, the understanding of curriculum as a power relation and as a tool/strategy capable of interfering in the formation of other emphasizes how much this pedagogic institute is able to insert/exclude, empower/weaken, revealing/hiding. It is in such a scenario of thoughts and understandings that this article is inserted, aiming to think/propose knowledges capable of promoting Quilombola School Education in the territories of the remaining quilombos and at the educational units that assist students originated/from that community. To do so, we have established dialogues with legislations (in effect) and also with theorists who do research on the topic. Keywords: quilombo; curriculum; quilombola school education.

On the way of a microscopic derivation of covariant density functionals, the first complete solution of the relativistic Brueckner-Hartree-Fock (RBHF) equations is presented for symmetric nuclear matter. In most of the earlier investigations, the G-matrix is calculated only in the space of positive energy solutions. On the other side, for the solution of the relativistic Hartree-Fock (RHF) equations, also the elements of this matrix connecting positive and negative energy solutions are required. So far, in the literature, these matrix elements are derived in various approximations. We discuss solutions of the Thompson equation for the full Dirac space and compare the resulting equation of state with those of earlier attempts in this direction.

Despite over thirty years of research in black hole thermodynamics, our understanding of the possible role played by the inner horizons of Reissner–Nordström and Kerr–Newman black holes in black hole thermodynamics is still somewhat incomplete. There are derivations which imply that the temperature of the inner horizon is negative and it is not quite clear what this means. Motivated by this problem, we perform a detailed analysis of the radiation emitted by the inner horizon of the Reissner–Nordström black hole. As a result, we find that in a maximally extended Reissner–Nordström space–time virtual particle–antiparticle pairs are created at the inner horizon of the Reissner–Nordström black hole such that real particles with positive energy and temperature are emitted towards the singularity from the inner horizon and, as a consequence, antiparticles with negative energy are radiated away from the singularity through the inner horizon. We show that these antiparticles will be emitted from the white hole horizon in the maximally extended Reissner–Nordström space–time, at least when the hole is near extremality. The energy spectrum of the antiparticles leads to a positive temperature for the white hole horizon. In other words, our analysis predicts that in addition to the radition effects of black hole horizons, the white hole horizon also radiates. The black hole radiation is caused by the quantum effects at the outer horizon, whereas the white hole radiation is caused by the quantum effects at the inner horizon of the Reissner–Nordström black hole.

Parmenides’s insinuation of an unchanging universe is assertively supported by Zeno with various logical paradoxes that question the very nature of plurality, space, time, and the reality of apparent motion. The dichotomy is his most famous paradox. To begin a trip, say, from here to the door, a traveler must travel the first half of it, but before she does that she must travel half of the first half, and in fact half of that, ad infinitum. Since there will always exist a smaller first half to be traveled first, Zeno questions whether a traveler can ever even start a trip. Zeno’s analysis is logical; on the other hand, things everywhere appear to be moving. Hence, either Zeno’s reasoning is wrong or appearances are deceptive. Empowered by the uncertainty principle of quantum mechanics, it will be argued that, at best, the phenomenon of motion is experimentally unverifiable!
