An adequate protein intake is important for healthy ageing, yet nearly 50% of Dutch community-dwelling older adults do not meet protein recommendations. This study explores protein intake in relation to eight behavioral determinants (I-Change model) among Dutch community-dwelling older adults. Data were collected through an online questionnaire from October 2019–October 2020. Protein intake was assessed by the Protein Screener 55+, indicating a high/low chance of a low protein intake (<1.0 g/kg body weight/day). The behavioral determinants of cognizance, knowledge, risk perception, perceived cues, attitude, social support, self-efficacy and intention were assessed by evaluating statements on a 7-point Likert scale. A total of 824 Dutch community-dwelling older adults were included, recruited via online newsletters, newspapers and by personal approach. Poisson regression was performed to calculate quartile-based prevalence ratios (PRs). Almost 40% of 824 respondents had a high chance of a low protein intake. Univariate analyses indicated that lower scores for all different behavioral determinants were associated with a higher chance of a low protein intake. Independent associations were observed for knowledge (Q4 OR = 0.71) and social support (Q4 OR = 0.71). Results of this study can be used in future interventions aiming to increase protein intake in which focus should lie on increasing knowledge and social support.

How has documentary(re)presented subaltern creativity? Focusing on post-socialist, globalizing China, I examine documentary narratives by and about the creative subaltern originating from Chinese “cool cities” and expanding in the virtual space of global digital media. In these narratives, the creative subaltern has appeared obliquely, tangential to other narratives, subordinate to internationally recognized artists, or with a more central role, as the author or the protagonist of documentary films. I analyze these narratives’ entanglement with elitist definitions of creativity, the representation of subaltern reality, the expression of subjectivity, and the tension between the political and the personal. I argue that documentary has played an important albeit ambiguous role—provocative and empowering, but also, at times, formulaic and constricting—in shaping the discourse on the subaltern as a creative subject, by amplifying creativity’s indexicality to the real and obfuscating its imaginative quality and its ambition of breaking free from the real. Reflecting on the contemporary relevance of the Free Cinema movement’s advocacy for a subjective, personal approach to capturing the “imagination of the people” and exploration of lyric realism in documentary filmmaking, I propose that documentary can and should dare to “make poetry.” Forms of documentary expressivity such as poetic, not plot-driven narratives can reconcile imagination with reality and offer alternative, more appropriate means of capturing the complexity, heterogeneity, and contradictoriness of the subaltern condition, and for subaltern creativity to be expressed, appreciated, and affirmed.

Background: Fluid management can reduce mortality, severe comorbidities, and debilitating symptoms in patients on hemodialysis. Therefore, a restricted fluid intake plan is crucial for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Little evidence has been found to date on exploring the experience in fluid management of CKD patients in Indonesia.Purpose: This study aimed to explore the fluid management experience of adults with chronic kidney disease participating in hemodialysis treatment in Indonesia. Methods: A qualitative study with a phenomenological approach was conducted. Purposive sampling was used to recruit 14 adults patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis in a tertiary hospital in Padang between July and September 2020. Manual content analysis using the Colaizzi approach was used to identify themes. Results: Data analysis revealed four themes with 12 sub-themes. The four major themes include the challenge of thirst control, fluid/diet restriction management, inadequate information, and the support system. Conclusions: The result showed the severe suffering and sadness experienced by CKD patients who conform to fluid restrictions. It is important to provide clear information on the fluid prescription or the exact consumable amount per day. Structured education with a personal approach is recommended to ensure detailed information regarding "fluid prescribing". The support obtained from family, friends, and dialysis staff is a significant factor in promoting acceptance and adherence.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a major role in the resilience of the economy in Indonesia. Therefore, the development of MSMEs is the concern of many parties. One of them is to help MSMEs to get better at using information system technology. Covid-19 pandemic has encouraged the transformation of business management to increase information technology implementation. The use of ERP in business improvement is a must in the era of information digitization. By using an ethnographic approach to identified problems, this study examines factors that can be the key to successful ERP implementation in MSMEs. This study uses several MSMEs with various business sectors but joined in the same group. The group is a combination of MSMEs who are currently testing the implementation of a new ERP-based application. The process of acceptance of the application of the new ERP system turned out to be strongly influenced by the culture of the individual and the culture of the participant group. Our research focused on Javanese culture's impact on MSMEs. We found that Javanese as the most Indonesian-dominated culture has a great impact on MSMEs behaviour. Our result shows that common Javanese ethnic culture dominated their behaviour. Their behaviour tends refer to three concepts: madu basa, madu rasa, and madu brata (Sutarto, 2006). There are some characteristics in our sample. There are tend to avoid uncertainty, use a personal approach to avoid confrontation in their business, easily adapt to different conditions. They also tend to be cynical and pessimistic, including in addressing the information needs for their business. The results of the qualitative analysis carried out found that certain cultural elements have limited the success of ERP implementation in MSMEs.
