By taking the third member of the Dongying Formation in the Cha71 fault block of the Chaheji oilfield as an example, the single sand body of the deltaic front underwater distributary channel is meticulously depicted by using the data of well logging and performance production. Portrays the vertical separation model, total lateral separation type, vertical type, lateral superposition type, 4 types of single sand body vertical superimposed and bay type, bank contact between docking, instead of four kinds of single sand body lateral contact type, and summarizes its logging facies identification. The quantitative prediction model of the single sand body was established, the characteristics of single sand body plane distribution were summarized, and the identification of the oil-water layer and the lower limit of reservoir effective thickness were studied. And we got the conclusion that based on the fine characterization of the single sand body and the lower limit standard of effective reservoir thickness, the distribution range of the effective reservoir and connecting unit is determined. Finally, the connectivity of the connecting unit is verified by dynamic data.

AbstractOur paper consists of four parts. In the first part, we describe the challenge of the pervasive and permanent philosophical disagreement over philosophers’ epistemic self-esteem. In the second part, we investigate the attitude of philosophers who have high epistemic self-esteem even in the face of philosophical disagreement and who believe they have well-grounded philosophical knowledge. In the third section, we focus on the attitude of philosophers who maintain a moderate level of epistemic self-esteem because they do not attribute substantive philosophical knowledge to themselves but still believe that they have epistemic right to defend substantive philosophical beliefs. In the fourth section, we analyse the attitude of philosophers who have a low level of epistemic self-esteem in relation to substantive philosophical beliefs and make no attempt to defend those beliefs. We argue that when faced with philosophical disagreement philosophers either have to deny that the dissenting philosophers are their epistemic peers or have to admit that doing philosophy is less meaningful than it seemed before. In this second case, philosophical activity and performance should not contribute to the philosophers’ overall epistemic self-esteem to any significant extent.

Based on the analysis of the relationships between the conditions of structures, sedimentations, source rocks, cap rocks, faults, oil and gas migration passages and traps and hydrocarbon accumulation, the controlling factors of hydrocarbon accumulation and distribution was studied in Talaha-changjiaweizi area. It is held that the source rocks control the hydrocarbon vertical distribution, the drainage capabilities control the hydrocarbon plane distribution, fracture belts control the hydrocarbon accumulation of Talaha syncline, underwater distributary channel is a favorable accumulation environment and reservoir physical properties control the oil and water distributions. Therefore, it is concluded that source rocks, fracture belts, sedimentary microfacies and reservoir physical properties are the main controlling factors of hydrocarbon accumulation and distribution in Talaha-changjiaweizi area.

Abstract Many researchers introduced an array of generators for broadband energy harvesting. The array has been studied in comparison to a single element from this array, but never compared to a single reference harvester with same volume as the whole array. This paper presents a theoretical study of evaluating the performance of the array harvester in comparison to the reference harvester. Power from the reference harvester as well as from the array is analytically calculated. The array is compared to the reference harvester when loaded by their optimal resistances which provide maximum power capability. The comparison is divided into two sections: firstly when the elements of the array are tuned to resonate at matching frequencies and secondly when they are tuned to non-matching resonance frequencies. The comparisons lead to two significant limits of the working bandwidth of the array: the lower and the upper limit. Between the two limits, the power produced from the array is less than the reference harvester, but with a small additional bandwidth. Below the lower limit, the array has no advantage over the reference harvester. Above the upper limit, output power of the array is inconsistent. Hence, design guidelines for the array are provided.

This article revolves around the discovery of matter. The first section concerns science studies. It emphasizes the importance of a focus on practice and performance as a way of undoing the ‘linguistic turn’ in the humanities and social sciences. The key concept here is that of a dance of agency. The second section reviews a variety of examples of this dance in fields beyond the natural sciences — civil engineering, pig farming, and convivial relations with dogs, architecture, technologies of the self, biological computing, brainwave music, and certain hylozoist and Eastern spirituality. This article focuses on contrasting forms that dances of agency and their products can take, depending on the presence or absence of an organizing telos of self-extinction. The third and final section reflects on the significance of this contrast for a politics of theory. This article traces the discovery of matter followed by the concepts of method, time, and agency.

Peritoneal metastasis (PM) is detected in 14% of gastric cancers at the time of initial diagnosis, with a median survival time of 4 months. A 66-year-old woman diagnosed with cT4a(SE) N2M1(LYN) cStage IV was treated with three lines of chemotherapy for a year. During the third line of chemotherapy, computed tomography (CT) scan revealed a large amount of ascites, periportal collar sign, and bilateral ureteral stenosis owing to PM. The tumor biomarkers (CEA and CA 19–9) remained elevated similar to the initial levels. The patient was administered 3 mg/kg nivolumab intravenously biweekly as the fourth line of chemotherapy. Three months after the nivolumab treatment, gastroscopy revealed an extreme reduction of the tumor size, while CT scan revealed the absence of ascites and a well-controlled tumor. There was no immune-related adverse event with nivolumab during and after the treatment, and performance status improved to 0. The patient has been alive for about 2.5 years since her first visit with her sixth line of chemotherapy (docetaxel). We report a case of advanced gastric cancer with PM that was treated successfully with nivolumab.
