In this paper, based on computer reading and processing of music frequency, amplitude, timbre, image pixel, color filling, and so forth, a method of image style transfer guided by music feature data is implemented in real-time playback, using existing music files and image files, processing and trying to reconstruct the fluent relationship between the two in terms of auditory and visual, generating dynamic, musical sound visualization with real-time changes in the visualization. Although recommendation systems have been well developed in real applications, the limitations of CF algorithms are slowly coming to light as the number of people increases day by day, such as the data sparsity problem caused by the scarcity of rated items, the cold start problem caused by new items and new users. The work is dynamic, with real-time changes in music and sound. Taking portraits as an experimental case, but allowing users to customize the input of both music and image files, this new visualization can provide users with a personalized service of mass customization and generate personalized portraits according to personal preferences. At the same time, we take advantage of the BP neural network’s ability to handle complex nonlinear problems and construct a rating prediction model between the user and item attribute features, referred to as the PSO-BP rating prediction model, by combining the features of global optimization of particle swarm optimization algorithm, and make further improvements based on the traditional collaborative filtering algorithm.

AbstractRapid estimation of the coseismic fault model for medium-to-large-sized earthquakes is key for disaster response. To estimate the coseismic fault model for large earthquakes, the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan and Tohoku University have jointly developed a real-time GEONET analysis system for rapid deformation monitoring (REGARD). REGARD can estimate the single rectangular fault model and slip distribution along the assumed plate interface. The single rectangular fault model is useful as a first-order approximation of a medium-to-large earthquake. However, in its estimation, it is difficult to obtain accurate results for model parameters due to the strong effect of initial values. To solve this problem, this study proposes a new method to estimate the coseismic fault model and model uncertainties in real time based on the Bayesian inversion approach using the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method. The MCMC approach is computationally expensive and hyperparameters should be defined in advance via trial and error. The sampling efficiency was improved using a parallel tempering method, and an automatic definition method for hyperparameters was developed for real-time use. The calculation time was within 30 s for 1 × 106 samples using a typical single LINUX server, which can implement real-time analysis, similar to REGARD. The reliability of the developed method was evaluated using data from recent earthquakes (2016 Kumamoto and 2019 Yamagata-Oki earthquakes). Simulations of the earthquakes in the Sea of Japan were also conducted exhaustively. The results showed an advantage over the maximum likelihood approach with a priori information, which has initial value dependence in nonlinear problems. In terms of application to data with a small signal-to-noise ratio, the results suggest the possibility of using several conjugate fault models. There is a tradeoff between the fault area and slip amount, especially for offshore earthquakes, which means that quantification of the uncertainty enables us to evaluate the reliability of the fault model estimation results in real time.

The online prediction of friction stir welding quality is an important part of intelligent welding. In this paper, a new method for the online evaluation of weld quality is proposed, which takes the real-time temperature signal as the main research variable. We conducted a welding experiment with 2219 aluminum alloy of 6 mm thickness. The temperature signal is decomposed into components of different frequency bands by wavelet packet method and the energy of component signals is used as the characteristic parameter to evaluate the weld quality. A prediction model of weld performance based on least squares support vector machine and genetic algorithm was established. The experimental results showed that, when welding defects are caused by a sudden perturbation during welding, the amplitude of the temperature signal near the tool rotation frequency will change significantly. When improper process parameters are used, the frequency band component of the temperature signal in the range of 0~11 Hz increases significantly, and the statistical mean value of the temperature signal will also be different. The accuracy of the prediction model reached 90.6%, and the AUC value was 0.939, which reflects the good prediction ability of the model.

AbstractClassification of Aedes aegypti (Linnaeus) and Aedes albopictus (Skuse) by humans remains challenging. We proposed a highly accessible method to develop a deep learning (DL) model and implement the model for mosquito image classification by using hardware that could regulate the development process. In particular, we constructed a dataset with 4120 images of Aedes mosquitoes that were older than 12 days old and had common morphological features that disappeared, and we illustrated how to set up supervised deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs) with hyperparameter adjustment. The model application was first conducted by deploying the model externally in real time on three different generations of mosquitoes, and the accuracy was compared with human expert performance. Our results showed that both the learning rate and epochs significantly affected the accuracy, and the best-performing hyperparameters achieved an accuracy of more than 98% at classifying mosquitoes, which showed no significant difference from human-level performance. We demonstrated the feasibility of the method to construct a model with the DCNN when deployed externally on mosquitoes in real time.

An adaptive control algorithm based on the RBF neural network (RBFNN) and nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) is discussed for underwater vehicle trajectory tracking control. Firstly, in the off-line phase, the improved adaptive Levenberg–Marquardt-error surface compensation (IALM-ESC) algorithm is used to establish the RBFNN prediction model. In the real-time control phase, using the characteristic that the system output will change with the external environment interference, the network parameters are adjusted by using the error between the system output and the network prediction output to adapt to the complex and uncertain working environment. This provides an accurate and real-time prediction model for model predictive control (MPC). For optimization, an improved adaptive gray wolf optimization (AGWO) algorithm is proposed to obtain the trajectory tracking control law. Finally, the tracking control performance of the proposed algorithm is verified by simulation. The simulation results show that the proposed RBF-NMPC can not only achieve the same level of real-time performance as the linear model predictive control (LMPC) but also has a superior anti-interference ability. Compared with LMPC, the tracking performance of RBF-NMPC is improved by at least 43% and 25% in the case of no interference and interference, respectively.
