Using location-based augmented reality (AR) for pedestrian navigation can greatly improve user action to reduce the travel time. Pedestrian navigation differs in many ways from the conventional navigation system used in a car or other vehicles. A major issue with using location-based AR for navigation to a specific landmark is their quality of usability, especially if the active screen is overcrowded with the augmented POI markers which were overlap each other at the same time. This paper describes the user journey map approach that led to new insights about how users were using location-based AR for navigation. These insights led to a deep understanding of challenges that user must face when using location-based AR application for pedestrian navigation purpose, and more generally, they helped the development team to appreciate the variety of user experience in software requirement specification phase. To prove our concept, a prototype of intuitive location-based AR was built to be compared with existing standard-location based AR. The user evaluation results reveal that the overall functional requirements which are gathered from user journey have same level of success rate criteria when compared with standard location-based AR. Nevertheless, the field study participants highlighted the extended features in our prototype could significantly enhance the user action on locating the right object in particular place when compared with standard location-based AR application (proved with the required time).

Over the past decade, the arsenal of original compositions for the accordion has considerably expanded, but a significant place among the performing repertoire is the genre of translation of works from the repertoire of other instruments, ensembles or orchestras for the accordion. Since the translation of the orchestral repertoire with account of the timbre features of the accordion, has not yet become the subject of musicology research, the task is to elucidation of the main principles of this genre. The combined analysis of translations and executive-methodical recommendations become the basis for a deep understanding of the ideological conception, stylistic features and rethinking of the timbre transformations, and therefore the quality of the performance of the work itself.Translation works for the accordion from the repertoire of the Ukrainian folk instruments orchestra has favorable conditions for many parameters, as demonstrated by Y. Oleksiv "Ukrainian fantasy". The timbre specificity - the existence of a large number of different instrumental groups and voices in the orchestra is successfully transmitted in the accordion translation due to a number of timbre registers of the instrument, the diversity of which allows the most complete transfer of orchestral coloration. The author takes into account the slight difference in the sound of the right and left keyboards of the accordion and demonstrates it in an advantageous applying for translation, creating the effect of a multi-timbre "dialogue". The techniques of playing on the accordion fully reproduce the dynamic gradations of the orchestral sound, as the characteristic feature of such orchestra is a chamber. The author simulates the techniques of sound formation and the specifics of various orchestral instruments. The bandura pinch, the overtones dulcimer "echo", the reed pipe glissando, the violin detache and the articulation variety of instrumental composition of the orchestra composer transmits using a detail palette. Perfect constructive features of the accordion allow you to successfully adapt the multi-layer orchestra texture. In the accordion translations of orchestral compositions, the epic and poetics of folk melodies are transmitted as clearly as possible. This work is aimed at deeper understanding of the content and expressiveness of translated works by the performers. The research can be an impetus for transmissions and their research on the repertoire of the chamber ensemble for the accordion, as well as the translation of pieces for the accordion.

AbstractThe extent to which designers can understand users often determines the quality of design outcomes. A deep understanding of users allows the designers to focus on the right problem and make optimal design decisions, which encouraged designers to empathize with users. However, the current imagination-based empathizing strategy appears to be too susceptible to their previous experience and knowledge, which has been questioned concerning effectiveness and accuracy. On the other hand, Virtual Reality (VR) technology provides an opportunity for designers to gain experience-driven empathy by immersing them in a virtual environment that mimics the users' surroundings as if they are seeing the world from users' eyes. While abundant studies covered empathy VR and empathy for design, limited attention has been paid to the chance of bringing VR, empathy, and design research together. Addressing this gap, this study explored literature across domains, identified major concerns about this approach, synthesized the evidence, and discussed the feasibility and validity of the VR-based empathic design research approach.

Human-computer interaction (HCI) has developed rapidly in recent years, and more and more researchers are interested in applying HCI techniques into education. Compared with traditional approaches in the real world, gesture recognition is considered as a reasonable alternative since it is vivid and flexible. However, most of educational equipment nowadays achieves the function of augmented reality, without any interaction. This paper implemented a prototype, not only based on augmented reality system, but also especially we think about the interactive design. Accessibility is achieved by mobile devices and the dynamic switch of gesture recognition. By this interactive method, children are able to interact with the virtual objects easily and naturally. Consequently, children can have a profound and deep understanding of what they learn, and the quality of education will be improved.

Cloud services that provide a complete platform for rendering the animation files using the resources in the cloud are known as cloud renderfarm services. This work proposes a multi criteria recommendation engine model for recommending these Cloud renderfarm services to animators. The services are recommended based on the functional requirements of the animation file to be rendered like the rendering software, plug-in required etc and the non functional Quality of Service (QoS) requirements like render node cost, time taken to upload animation files etc. The proposed recommendation engine model uses a domain specific ontology of renderfarm services to identify the right services that could satisfy the functional requirements of the user and ranks the identified services using the popular Multi Criteria Decision Analysis method like Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The ranked list of services is provided as recommended services to the animators in the ranking order. The Recommendation model was tested to rank and recommend the cloud renderfarm services in multi criteria requirements by assigning different QoS criteria weight for each scenario. The ranking based recommendations were generated for six different scenarios and the results were analyzed. The results show that the services recommended for each scenario were different and were highly dependent on the weights assigned to each criterion.

Issues related to the nature of information in the context of the development of a territory growth strategy are presented in the article. A brief analysis of the terms such as information, strategy, plan is made. It is revealed that the information, plan and strategy are complex and fluctuating. Some features of human perception of information are considered. The specificity of the thinking paradigms influence on human perception of information is also presented. The modern world represents sets of emergent properties that are precisely the result of continuous information influence in their essence and generate new states of the system, and therefore new meanings. A strategist interacts with a rapidly changing context; he should be able to make management decisions taking into account the redundant and incomplete nature of the information. These decisions should lead to the achievement of goals. Such a task is not simple at all and requires certain skills in working with information. The method of working with information is infology. It provides a set of relevant procedures that allow you to solve the problem of collecting and processing information at a qualitatively new level. Thus, the algorithms for working with information allow you to collect comprehensive information on the capabilities, needs and resources of the territory and link them into a single plan for achieving the goal. And that means they allow you to improve the quality of planning by reference to the strategic goals of the territories. The strategist becomes a hunter of meanings to a certain extent; this ability allows him to see the general picture of local development from the maximum advantageous position. The strategist begins to possess Femostokl’s unique ability and to know how to “do absolutely right things at the right moment,” that is, to program the desired behavior, involve and sensitize people to achieve a single goal, and then enable these goals to be realized by everyone involved in the process. And this requires not only the information, but its deep understanding and using ability to achieve the goals. Data can become the working information only if you work hard and find meanings that are important for understanding the features of a managed object. Thus, understanding the facts that are behind the reality displays allows you to change the quality of management and development of a territory growth strategy.

Rainwater harvesting is a well-established practice in many parts of the world. In the right environment it can provide a convenient, inexpensive and sustainable source of potable water. This study explored rainwater collecting system use within rural Trinidadian communities. Data regarding participants' demographic details, water practices, health- and water-related beliefs were collected from six separate regions late in 2009 using a purpose designed questionnaire. The findings, obtained from the 1,523 study participants resident in 292 households were analysed. Almost half (130) of the participating households utilised rainwater as their main supply although some found it necessary to switch to alternative sources during dry periods. The majority of participants (478) who harvested rainwater were very satisfied with the quality of their water and relatively few (212) were concerned that it may pose a risk to their health. Rainwater harvesting systems are well established in Trinidad and are well accepted by those who use them. Further research is needed to establish why more households do not adopt this technology as alternative sources remain inconsistent and inadequate in many respects. These findings will assist individuals and government agencies in making informed decisions when planning and managing water sources on the island.

Purpose. The priceless historical legacy that the 19th century left us, including in the development of legal science and education, requires a comprehensive, deep understanding. The trends in the development of legal education are important to follow and take into account the experience of solving the problems faced by postreform Russia when choosing methods and approaches to higher legal education, to consider the opinions of contemporaries about the quality of legal training. Methodology: methods of dialectical logic, historical-legal, historical-dynamic and causal analysis were used. Conclusions. A serious incentive to increase the prestige of legal education was the introduction of an educational qualification for obtaining positions in the new judicial system. At the same time, it was necessary to search for an optimal model for training legal personnel capable of implementing the principles proclaimed by the judicial reform in practice. Attempts were made to find a balance between obtaining fundamental theoretical knowledge and obtaining practical legal skills. Scientific and practical significance. Modern universities that train lawyers face problems that are Largely consonant with those that Russia faced in the second half of the XIX — early XX centuries. This primarily concerns the quality of legal personnel training, the formation of competencies aimed at developing legal thinking, and the readiness to make legal decisions independently. In this regard, the experience of the past can suggest the right approaches when choosing modern standards and teaching models.

This article is devoted to the peculiarities of the translation orchestral composition for the Ukrainian folk instruments orchestra Yaroslav Oleksiv "Ukrainian fantasy" for the accordion. The dynamic development of the Ukrainian musical art of the XXI century is connected with the active attention to academic performance in folk instruments, the creation of original compositions and the translation of works for the folk instruments orchestra and Ukrainian folk instruments. The high level of contemporary Ukrainian accordion art has inspired many accordionists to musical creativity. The combined analysis of translations and executive-methodical recommendations become the basis for a deep understanding of the ideological conception, stylistic features and rethinking of the timbre transformations, and therefore the quality of the performance of the work itself. In the translations of orchestral compositions for the accordion it is necessary to preserve figurative content in the new timbre conditions. The expressive potential of the recipient tool reveals the "hidden" shades of common figurative content, interpreting it through the prism of its own timbre-sonorous palette. The accordion sound registers give the opportunity to transfer the peculiarities of sounding various instruments with the slightest losses. Modification of the timbre specificity does not change the nature of music. The organic connection of the timbre with the general intonation and sound complex is dominant in the translation works of orchestral literature. Translation works for the accordion from the repertoire of the Ukrainian folk instruments orchestra has favorable conditions for many parameters, as demonstrated by Y. Oleksiv "Ukrainian fantasy". The timbre specificity - the existenсe of a large number of different instrumental groups and voices in the orchestra is successfully transmitted in the accordion translation due to a number of timbre registers of the instrument, the diversity of which allows the most complete transfer of orchestral coloration. The translation of orchestral compositions for the accordion opens up a wide range of sound-expressive features of the instrument and reproduces the multi-timbre of the orchestra. Perfect constructive features of the accordion allow you to successfully adapt the multi-layer orchestra texture. In the accordion translations of orchestral compositions, the epic and poetics of folk melodies are transmitted as clearly as possible. This type of accordion translations enriches the repertoire and promotes the popularization of littleknown works of Ukrainian composers. This work is aimed at deeper understanding of the content and expressiveness of translated works by the performers. May serve as a theoretical basis for both members of the Ukrainian folk instruments orchestra, accordionists and the authors of the translations. The research can be an impetus for transmissions and their research on the repertoire of the chamber ensemble for the accordion, as well as the translation of pieces for the accordion.

Greening of roads contributes to the protection of roads and their elements from influence of adverse weather and climatic factors; it includes the measures for improvement and landscaping of roads, ensures the protection of roadside areas from transport pollution, provides visual orientation of drivers. The solution of these issues will ensure creation and maintenance of safe and comfortable conditions for travelers. Green plantings in the right-of-way road area include woody, bushy, flower and grass vegetation of natural and artificial origin. For proper operation of public roads and satisfaction of other needs of the industry, there may be the need in removing the greenery. The reason for the removal of greenery in the right-of-way road area may be due to the following factors: construction of the architectural object, widening of the motor road, repair works in the security zone of overhead power lines, water supply, drainage, heating, telecommunications facilities, cutting of hazardous, dry and fautal trees, as well as self-grown and brushwood trees with a root neck diameter not exceeding 5 cm, elimination of the consequences of natural disasters and emergencies. The removal of plantations in the right-of-way area is executed in order to ensure traffic safety conditions and to improve the quality of plantations composition and their protective properties. Nowadays, in Ukraine there is no clear procedure for issuing permits for removing of such plantations. In order to resolve this issue, there is a need in determining the list of regulations in the area of forest resources of Ukraine and, if needed, the list of regulatory acts that have to be improved; to prepare a draft of the regulatory legal act that would establish the procedure of plantations cutting, the methodology of their condition determination, recovery costs determination, the features of cutting. Keywords: plantations, cutting, right-of-way, woodcutting permit, order.
