ABSTRACT Introduction: High-intensity Intermittent Training (HIIT) ranked first in the ACSM “2013 Global Training Methodology Survey”. Objective: To explore the influence of different speed training intervals on athlete reaction speed. Methods: Sixteen male bicycle athletes were randomly divided into two groups. The two groups then completed a six-week training routine (NT). The two groups then completed a six-week training routine , started 6 weeks of Sprint Interval Training (SIT) (a total of 12 lessons), with SIT instead of Normal Training (NT) live endurance training, and another training remains unchanged. Results: After 6 weeks of NT, Pmax GXT in the CG and DG groups decreased by 0.7% and 1.7%, respectively,as compared to the pre-training numbers. The difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). And after 6 weeks of SIT, Pmax GXT increased significantly (P<0.05) in both experimental groupss,with increases of 9.2% and 10.2% for the CG and DG groups, respectively. Conclusions: The results show that intermittent training can effectively improve the aerobic metabolism of short-haul cyclists. As the power bicycle load and the training intensity and volume of the deceleration intermittent training program increase, the more significant the changes in aerobic capacity that can result in adaptability. Abstract In order for Conservation Agriculture (CA) to reach and impact small-scale farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), CA technologies need to be adapted to suit the diversity of agroecological zones and cultures present on the continent. Training materials for CA promotion need to be similarly customizable to help extension staff and farmers develop their own, context-appropriate solutions from among the many possible CA approaches. From 2015 through 2018, a diverse set of farmer-level training materials for CA and complementary technologies was developed and field-tested by Canadian Foodgrains Bank partners. Together with a participatory, adaptive training methodology, these materials have enhanced the effectiveness of CA promotion, and they have been made available for copyright-free download in English, French, Kiswahili, Portuguese and Amharic (http://caguide.act-africa.org/, accessed 6 August 2021). This paper describes the process of developing these materials as well as challenges and constraints to their utilization.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between motor ability for balance and the performance of selected gymnastic elements on the floor in students aged 7-8 years, to provide an overview of the current motor status of the respondents at this age, and to develop suggestions for possible changes in the curriculum at this age, and to develop suggestions for supplementing training methodology. Training of selected gymnastics elements was conducted on a sample of 42 subjects who had no previous experience in performing gymnastics elements during regular physical education classes, and the predictor variable was tested using four tests assessing motor balance ability. The tests assessing motor balance ability showed a statistically significant predictive value for the performance of all three gymnastics exercises. It is noticeable that the value of the prediction model increased the more complex an item was derived, indicating the complexity of the motor balance space and the high and stable level of the same in the subjects at the time of testing. Regarding the tests used, it can be noted that the test FLAM was significantly involved in the prediction of performance success in all three gymnastic elements, while the other two tests showed their predictive value in the execution of the hand stand. On the other hand, the study shows that the gymnastic elements used should be used in physical education classes to contribute to the promotion and development of all motor skills of students and as part of the preparation for the execution of more complex elements on the floor and apparatus in higher grades.

The variety of handball playing positions produces implications on the physical, motor and physiological particularities of the players, being necessary an individualization of the training according to the specific requirements of the playing position. The development of strength capacity is done during all phases of the training, and the content used to optimize strength capacity at senior handball players of the group subjected to the experiment was varied, diversified and adapted to each trainingsession. The aim of the research was to design and apply a training methodology that would lead to the optimization of strength capacity at senior handball players with consequences in terms of performance and level of game efficiency. The following control tests were used to assessthe subjects' strength indices: test 1 maximum repetition for semiflexion, chest push-up and chest lift, and the plate test was used for the isometric strength. The results obtained by the experimental group at the strength tests applied in research aredue to the specific strength training used for a period of 6 months. The designed strength program for handball players was implemented considering the characteristics of the handball game, athletes’ particularities in order to achieve a better efficiency in training and competition. The intergroup statistical analysis of the final testing indicates statistical significance in favor of the experiment group, which confirms the efficiency of the means used in the training, ensuring an optimal framework for obtaining performance in competitions.

In the era of Industry 4.0, gender discrimination still exists especially in be male-dominated workplaces, such as the stone sector. Combating gender discrimination in the stone sector is a demanding task that calls for integrated planning and targeted interventions. This paper presents the results of the “WinSTONE” Erasmus+ project, aiming at the development of suitable training tools for the integration of women in the stone industry. Based on the main challenges, as well as on the emerging opportunities for women in the sector, a training methodology is being developed to deal with the actual needs.

Abstract School closures induced by the COVID-19 crisis have led to the rethinking and reshaping of teacher training considering the norms of online and blended learning, and the pressure to embrace the possibilities offered by information and communications technology. We propose to examine the new perspectives and necessary changes related to three domains in which our institution – the Teacher Training Institute of Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, Faculty of Technical and Human Sciences – offers training: foreign languages, social sciences, and engineering. Different areas of education have been affected in different ways by the pandemic. In language teaching, familiarity with pre-existing platforms and programs helped the transition to online education. In the field of social sciences, the transfer of theoretical information did not cause any particular problems, but the development of interpersonal relationships, interactivity, and communication became more difficult. In the domain of engineering, practical education has become nearly impossible, as in order to develop certain practical skills students need access to laboratories equipped with special tools, devices, and instruments. In our study, we will focus on ways of updating and developing our methodology courses based on new paradigms and good practices presented in the specialized literature, also reflecting on feedback received from our teacher trainees related to their difficulties and needs revealed by the shift to online teaching.

As science and technology advance along with the growth of industry 4.0, teachers are expected to be able to adjust their skills to current demands. In a specific subject, skills or knowledge that are defined by professionalism become the most essential item as the field's flagship. Competence is required in all disciplines, including teaching methods. The role of teachers in educating and attempts to maximize all brain cells in children are inextricably linked to the success of Early Childhood Education. Given the golden age in humans is 0-6 years. Thus, this study aims to identify the readiness of teacher competencies to educate students in the face of an ever-increasing flow of technology. The objective of this study was to discuss the IT training provided at PPT Permata Hati to help teachers enhance their IT skills in creating online lesson plans. A qualitative method was employed in this study, utilizing a case study approach. Data was gathered through interviews, documentation, and activity pictures. The results of this study revealed the progression of the educational process at PPT Permata Hati in Bendul Merisi Village, Wonocolo District, from the creation of learning activity plans by teachers using the SIM PAUD application to online performance reporting through the Surabaya City Department of Education's website. The training outlined the principal's training, which included everything from an introduction to how to use the program. A presentation and on-the-job training methodology were employed as the training model. The originality or value of this study is that it discusses the training given to early childhood teachers on how to use the Surabaya City Department of Education's information technology "PAUD SIM" to create Weekly Learning Implementation Plans.
