Significant milestones in the development of maintainability assessment techniques are summarized. Maintainability models are critically reviewed in terms of general utility, ease of application, validity, and use of human engineering data. The capability of each model to be employed during various points in the system development cycle is evaluated with special consideration given to availability of model input data. Examples of potential model approaches are included. Survey results show continuing progress toward the potential development of efficient maintainability modeling techniques. However, increased effort is required to ensure the development of effective systems and to reduce maintenance costs. Emphasis is given to requirements for additional effort in (1) maintainability modeling early in the design process, (2) model validation, and (3) development of timely, valid input data.

The growth of children under the age of three (toddlers) is one of the determinants of children's development in the future. One of the parameters of toddler growth assessment is determined by gender, age, height and weight. This research makes a system that can monitor toddler growth with web-based. The research method used is the System Life Development Cycle, which consists of planning, analysis, design, implementation and use. This system also uses the Tsukamoto fuzzy method to determine the membership set of each input variable. The gender criteria are divided into two classes, male and female, the age criteria are divided into three classes, the height criteria are three classes, and the weight criteria are divided into three classes. Based on the division of classes, the output of this study is the growth status of toddlers, namely poor growth, poor, normal and more. Based on the results of input data criteria and calculations using Tsukamoto fuzzy, the output obtained in the form of the status of the child's growth.

Microstructure is the key scale to understand and describe sintering mechanisms and their consequences at the macroscopic level. As modeling techniques are continuously developing, the need for input data and comparison with more and more accurate descriptions of the evolution is expected to create a growing demand for quantitative microstructure data. Image analysis is the classic way to get these data. This paper reviews the practical use and progresses of this old technique in the sintering literature during the past and recent years. The place of basic tools and more recent ones, such as 3D imaging, are discussed from a practical point of view accounting from sintering models needs: mean size and size distributions in pores and grains, homogeneity, sintering trajectories…

The objective was to gather information on the status of antimicrobial surveillance in the Asia Pacific region and suggest control strategies. Twenty-one economies of the Asia Pacific region participated in this initiative. A survey was conducted on antimicrobial use and surveillance throughout the region. A workshop was carried out to create awareness about the issue and discuss the implementation of control strategies. Based on the survey results and workshop conclusions, it can be established that there is better understanding of the implications of antimicrobial resistance in the human medicine area. Only few economies take actions to control antimicrobial resistance on a veterinary/agricultural level. To confront antimicrobial resistance, it is critical to raise awareness; cooperation between all countries is needed to apply international standards, to be able to have harmonized public policies. Countries must align and improve their systems for surveillance and monitoring of antimicrobial resistance in human, animals, and the environment.

According to the feature of the JBPM workflow system development, the target code generated is determined by analyzing the process of JBPM workflow development and the architecture of J2EE. The code generation tool generates code by parsing the static form source code and loading the code generation template. The code generation tool greatly shortens the JBPM workflow system development cycle and reduces the cost of software development which has the good practicality and scalability.

Security patterns encompass security-related issues in secure software system development and operations that often appear in certain contexts. Since the late 1990s about 500 security patterns have been proposed. Although the technical components are well investigated, the direction, overall picture, and barriers to implementation are not. Here, a systematic literature review of 240 papers is used to devise a taxonomy for security pattern research. Our taxonomy and the survey results should improve communications among practitioners and researchers, standardize the terminology, and increase the effectiveness of security patterns.

CV. Yusti Karya as a construction company realizes that the ability to manage project finances is an important requirement for smooth project management. CV.Yusti Karya often has to manage several projects simultaneously in remote locations. This condition makes it difficult for the finance staff in the office to manage project financial allocations and also makes it difficult for project managers in the field and must report the status of project expenditures to the office. This difficulty drives CV. YustiKarya improved the project's financial management system from using spreadsheets to a web-based information system. Web-based information system will be developed using object-oriented methods. The object- oriented system development method was chosen because of its modular development capabilities and adapts to system requirements. The development of this system aims to enable Person in Charge (PIC) projects in the field to submit expenditures and can be immediately approved by the financial staff in charge. Online project finance management between project PICs and finance staff helps harmonize financial management. The Director can monitor the flow of the latest project finance developments online.

Abstract Background Breast milk is the ideal food to meet all nutrients needs for a baby’s healthy growth and development. The status of breastfeeding supportive services in Baby-Friendly Hospitals and their role in influencing mothers’ breastfeeding practice in Shanghai, China is less understood. The aim of this study was to explore the association between breastfeeding supportive services provided by Baby-Friendly Hospitals around childbirth and exclusive breastfeeding rate at discharge. Methods This was a hospital-based cross-sectional study, conducted in eight Baby-Friendly Hospitals in Shanghai between October 2015 and January 2017. The breastfeeding supportive services during hospitalization were assessed using a 12-question questionnaire based on the evaluation criteria of Baby-Friendly Hospitals. In total 707 mothers completed the survey. Results The overall exclusive breastfeeding rate among participants was 34.4% at discharge. Mothers who received more breastfeeding supportive services during hospitalization were more likely to practice exclusive breastfeeding at discharge compared with mothers who received less services (aOR: 3.00; 95% CI: 2.08, 4.35; p < 0.001). Conclusion Better breastfeeding supportive services during hospitalization was significantly associated with higher rate of exclusive breastfeeding at discharge. More effective measures should be adopted to improve the breastfeeding supportive services in line with the Baby-friendly Hospital Initiative’s Ten Steps to promote and support exclusive breastfeeding and better maternal and child health.

Abstract It is a common problem that many computer tools intended to enhance human performance in design or manufacturing planning do not do so. In many cases they may actually degrade performance. One way to increase the probability that a tool will meet users needs is to include frequent periodic usability assessments in the development process so feedback from users can be incorporated in new iterations of the software design. This paper describes an example of one such assessment applied to a Mediator, a feature extraction and process planning tool for assisting process planners to explore plan options more quickly and thoroughly. There exists a wide variety of usability assessment techniques which can mostly be divided into two broad categories: summative evaluations which provide in-depth assessments in the final stages of software development, and formative evaluations which tend to be smaller in scale and are used to provide guidance for “forming” subsequent software versions during the development cycle. In this work, we describe a formative usability assessment. The study indicated that Mediator was meeting its design goal of broadening the users exploration of manufacturing options, in some cases producing high quality manufacturing options which the expert users had not considered on their own. The study also provided formative redesign information gleaned which will help future versions of Mediator to better meet the actual needs of process planners.

The purpose of this chapter is to examine the status quo and discuss the interfaces and articulations between the two constructs: entrepreneurship and social development. Thus, this chapter aims to analyze the characteristics of publications related to the themes of entrepreneurship and social development from 1996 to 2016. The methodology used was descriptive research bibliometrics. The research was conducted using the web of science (WoS) database of the ISI web of knowledge, with a total of 1893 articles selected. The survey results showed that the year with the highest number of publications was 2016 (446), followed by the year 2015 (330). Further, the fields of social and behavioral sciences and entrepreneurship and regional development had the largest number of publications with a total of 44 and 42, respectively.
