To improve the forming quality of V-shaped clamps, a basis for optimal V-shaped clamp mold surface design is provided. In this paper, the V-shaped clamp stamping process is simulated using Abaqus and the influence of the mold’s friction coefficient on the V-shaped clamp stamping parameters is revealed. The regional friction coefficient of the V-shaped clamp mold surface is optimized using an equal horizontal design scheme and the optimal friction coefficient combination for the mold surface is obtained, along with comparison and analysis of the molding parameters before and after optimization. Results show that the mold’s surface friction properties have significant regional characteristics. Increasing the friction coefficient of the bottom, the rounded section of the punch’s V-shaped groove and the bulge filleted corner of the punch while reducing the friction coefficient of the bulge filleted corner and crimping area of the die head contributes to the material flow. Mold surface optimization makes the material flow velocity more uniform, disperses stress on the part’s surface, reduces strain and thickness reduction of the key parts, and improves overall quality. Measurements show that the V-shaped clamp mold’s surface friction characteristics affect the molding parameters significantly and mold optimization improves the V-shaped clamp’s molding quality.

To satisfy the local forming need of sheet-metal part, numerical simulation of SUS304 stainless steel deep-drawing with trilateral constrained slot were carried out by employing the analytical software ETA/dynaform5.5. The influence of different friction coefficient and holder force on the forming quality was analyzed by taking the inflow volume while parts forming 50mm as standard. The results show that the effect of trilateral constraint on the uneven flow and deformation of flange. And some measures were illustrated to improve the quality of some of these parts.

In the flexible stretch bending of multi-point roller dies process, the deformation of workpiece is mainly driven by clamps. Therefore, the movement track of clamp has a great influence on the forming effect of workpiece. Y-profile, T-profile, and L-profile are taken as the research objects. Simulation and experiments are carried out with two different movement tracks. The influence of the movement tracks on shape error, springback error, and thickness variation of different profiles is discussed. The experimental results of the three profiles processed by the double-sided forming method are consistent with the simulation results, which proves the accuracy of the numerical simulation. The results show that the movement track has a great influence on shape error. Compared with double-sided forming, one-sided forming can effectively reduce springback error. The two different movement tracks have no obvious influence on thickness change.

In this paper, the flow rule of metal during the deep drawing of the non-symmetry workpieces was investigated by means of the numerical simulation of deep-drawing processes of square cup under bilateral constrained conditions. The numerical simulation was carried out by advanced analysis software Dynaform5.5. SUS304 stainless steel was used as the deforming materials. The influence of different friction coefficient and blank holder force on the drawing forming quality was analyzed. The results showed that the material flow in different areas has different trends with increase of friction coefficient and blank holder force.

Presented here is the simulation of uniaxial stretch forming using two punches in a sheet metal forming operation. In the finite element modelling, the sheet metal strip was held by two bank holders and two punches are able to move in two directions to stretch the sheet metal. Due to the friction between the punch and sheet metal, it was found that friction affects the sheet metal forming quality, however by adopting an optimal punch path the effect of friction in sheet metal forming can be reduced. The effect of punch paths on the quality of the sheet metal are also reported in this paper.

The reasonable blank shape is very important for drawing forming quality of sheet. In this paper, the blank shape is obtained by inverse calculation based on final drawing workpiece, with finite element software. The optimal blank contour is determined by modifying the 3D models of final drawing workpiece and comparing with forming quality of the different inverse calculated blank shapes, according to the stress and the material flow law in drawing process. The results show that, in the case of the given shapes of workpiece, the blank shapes with high precision can be obtained, the formability becomes better, and the number of drawing forming can be reduced by using the method. The method may also contribute to the drawing of large and medium-sized panels, rectangular boxes and special-shaped parts.

In the present study, the motion of a droplet in the boundary layer is investigated numerically. Volume of Fluid method is employed to solve the governing equations. It is found that the presence of the droplet leads to an increase in the pressure inside the boundary layer and on the wall. The results show that the droplets create a vortex on the bottom surface. The friction coefficient increases due to the presence of the droplets and is reduced before and after the droplet due to the formation of a vortex. It is concluded that increasing the viscosity and reducing the density at the same time will not affect the velocity and friction coefficient. It is shown that increasing the radius of the droplet increases the stress and thus decreases the boundary layer velocity. As the Reynolds number increases, the amount of surface friction coefficient decreases. By adding nanoparticles into the pure water, surface friction coefficient increases, especially in the region where the droplet is present.

The purpose of this study is (1) to analyze public perception on urban services before and after the expansion of the region, (2) analyze the level of people's satisfaction with urban services, and (3) analyze the determinants of the variables that determine what level of people's satisfaction urban services. This study concluded that first, after the expansion, the quality of urban services in South Tangerang City is better than before. Secondly, however, public satisfaction with the services only reached 48.53% (poor scale). Third, by using a Cartesian Diagram, the second priority that must be addressed are: (1) clarity of service personnel, (2) the discipline of service personnel, (3) responsibility for care workers; (4) the speed of service, (5) the ability of officers services, (6) obtain justice services, and (7) the courtesy and hospitality workers.

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam which has a function of faith, social and economic functions. Muslims who can pay zakat are required to give at least 2.5 per cent of their wealth. The problem of poverty prevalent in disadvantaged regions because of the difficulty of access to information and communication led to a gap that is so high in wealth and resources. The instrument of zakat provides a paradigm in the achievement of equitable wealth distribution and healthy circulation. Zakat potentially offers a better life and improves the quality of human being. There is a human quality improvement not only in economic terms but also in spiritual terms such as improving religiousity. This study aims to examine the role of zakat to alleviate humanitarian issues in disadvantaged regions such as Sijunjung, one of zakat beneficiaries and impoverished areas in Indonesia. The researcher attempted a Cibest method to capture the impact of zakat beneficiaries before and after becoming a member of Zakat Community Development (ZCD) Program in material and spiritual value. The overall analysis shows that zakat has a positive impact on disadvantaged regions development and enhance the quality of life of the community. There is an improvement in the average of mustahik household incomes after becoming a member of ZCD Program. Cibest model demonstrates that material, spiritual, and absolute poverty index decreased by 10, 5, and 6 per cent. Meanwhile, the welfare index is increased by 21 per cent. These findings have significant implications for developing the quality of life in disadvantaged regions in Sijunjung. Therefore, zakat is one of the instruments to change the status of disadvantaged areas to be equivalent to other areas.
