The purpose is to justify the use of minimum and zero tillage in conditions of forest-steppe Zavolzhye region from the position of the biological activity of the soil. One of the factors forming and determining the fertility of the soil, is the activity of microorganisms that inhabit it, the active surface which reaches up to several hundred acres for 1 ha of surface topsoil. Important role in building of soil fertility is the number of major groups of microorganisms, which, being the catalysts of metabolism, objectively reflect the nature of biochemical processes. Another academician S. P. Kostychev (1937) pointed out that without the study of biodynamics the knowledge of the soil, especially from the agronomic point of view, may not be complete. Microorganisms occupy a key position in maintaining biochemical capacity of the soil, so monitoring of soil microflora is essential for the maintenance and reproduction of its fertility. This work is devoted to studying the role of soil microorganisms in the process of maintaining and reproduction of soil fertility in the development of new technologies in agriculture. The article presents data on the effect of basic tillage on the number of different groups of soil microorganisms (micromycetes, bacteria, actinomycetes), Shows the number of soil microorganisms, such as micromycetes (mold fungi) and bacteria are significantly influenced by seasonal changes in temperature and humidity than the soil treatment methods. From which it follows that the reduction of the mechanical load on the soil in the forest-steppe of Zavolzhye a significant impact on the number of major groups of microorganisms has not.

It has been realized for some time that simple electron-transfer processes play an important part in the mechanism of many oxidation-reduction reactions in solution. An attempt has been made to give a quantum-mechanical interpretation of these processes on the basis of the earlier theories of electron transfer in the gaseous state (Landau 1932; Bates & Massey 1943). The present treatment for solutions takes into account the role of the solvent, with particular reference to the operation of the Franck—Condon principle and it also leads to some definite picture of the transition state for the electron transfer process. A number of examples are discussed, including electron transfer between like ions of different valency and also reactions involving complex ions, e.g. metal porphyrins, the reactions of which are of importance in certain biochemical processes. It appears that the application of certain theoretical principles leads to a satisfactory understanding of electron-transfer processes in solution from a qualitative and, in some cases, also from a semi-quantitative point of view.

The main results of studying the effect of artificial woody vegetation on chernozem are briefly described in the article, as well as the influence of soil and soil condition on composition and productivity of forest plantations. The effect of soil salinity on plant growth is characterized. The toxicity of different groups of readily soluble salts, especially chlorides and soda, has been evaluated. The decisive role of the depth of toxic amounts of chlorides and the level of water availability in the soil usability has been established. The ecological series of water availability for plants in different soil types have been developed and the degree of suitability of groundwater of different salinity has been evaluated. The power of the root zone as a limiting factor has been estimated, as far as the level of mineral elements supply for plant nutrition (trophicity) in the soil is determined by the greatest total amounts of phosphorus and potassium in the root zone (excluding potassium enclosed in feldspar lattices). All the intrazonal diversity of nature is due to the nutrient status and moisture content in the soil. Along with the warmth level these limiting resources develop one or another level of soil fertility. The role of subsurface runoff in the formation of forest-steppe landscapes is characterized. The stages and phases of the primary soil-forming process are highlighted. It is argued that soil zonality results from bioinert nature of the soil. The article substantiates the statement that soil fertility is a factor ensuring the stability of life on Earth; and the ways of promoting Soil Science at the level of the theoretical basis for agriculture have been proposed.

The aim of the study is to determine the perspective components of the network strategy for the development of the industry on the basis of an analysis of the theory and practice of instrument engineering development in the conditions of Industry 4.0 and an analysis of trends in instrument engineering. The research methodology is based on evolutionary theory as the direction of a new institutional economy. The institutional-evolutionary approach to security strategies involves considering a set of institutions and the laws of their interaction, ensuring the conversion of resources into real results by effective methods in accordance with the national context and the needs of society. The study proved that the importance of instrument engineering is due to the fact that the expansion of the research base of innovative processes is associated with the use of modern analytical instruments. The main aspects of the role of instrumentation in the economy are determined. It is shown that modern instrument engineering is a high-tech and high-tech industry, widely uses ICT, nanotechnology, microminiaturization, elements of artificial intelligence, etc. From the organizational, economic and institutional point of view, instrument engineering is considered as an intersectoral high-tech complex, which is also a factor in the innovative development of a number of technological industries and the result of their innovation. This fact determines the affiliation of instrument engineering to structure-forming industries, in which new technologies are spreading to other sectors of the economy. For a more detailed analysis of the institutional dynamics of the industry in Ukraine, the main statistical indicators of instrument engineering are considered. It is shown that the prospects of domestic instrument engineering are primarily associated with the production of qualitatively new products and the conquest of the domestic market, whose capacity is several times greater than not only the current export volumes of the sector, but also the entire production in it. It is proved that from a strategic point of view, it is necessary to find new mechanisms for the development of the industry, in particular based on digitalization. Instrument engineering is also considered at the same time as part of the transformation of production and its digitalization, as well as the object of introducing new technologies. Thus, the industry’s prospects are associated with the creation of a digital infrastructure, which is a cross-industry platform that will allow organizing productive interaction of all participants in the innovation process. Appropriate approaches should be implemented as part of institutional strategies both in the development and use of devices as part of a digital smart manufacturing strategy. An analysis of the foreign experience of industry leaders has shown that small and medium-sized enterprises prevail in instrument engineering, despite the presence of large global leaders. It is shown that the activation of the role of small instrument-making enterprises as participants in technological development requires the search for new forms of interaction, among which the network should be highlighted. For the institutional and evolutionary development of instrument engineering, it is proposed to use the features of a traditional cluster and network, focused on the formation of a technological platform. Keywords instrument engineering, strategy, innovation, trends, network, institutions.

Globalization leads to new challenges. There is a trend of growth of the population. At the same time, production processes are subject to changes. If the new technologies are based on environmental protection, then we can also be considered that the greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced. As energy requirements are rising, it is important to efficient use of natural resources. This, especially, as energy sources differ from one country to another. In this context, dependence on energy imports becomes important. From this point of view, for the countries of the European Union, the article analyzes the evolution of energy efficiency. In recent years, it trying to replace fossil fuels with renewable fuels. Analyzing the share of energy from renewable sources in total electricity allows us to observe the degree of decarbonisation of the European Union economy. The use of energy from renewable sources allows the development of green technologies and contributes to the protection of the environment. Producing of the energy in a region and transporting it to another region creates bridges and contributes to globalization. Thus, in the process of globalization, the role of energy is increasingly important. The article presents a European analysis of gross and net electricity production.

The role of vocality in the field of techno-feminism in performance is undertheorized. The latest takes in posthumanism and eco-feminism wish for a more inclusive, less capitalo-utilitarian use of new technologies. Through the motto ‘make kin, not babies’, the new frontiers of techno-feminism address the anthropo-heterocentric concept of family, hoping for different agglomeration of creatures. Following these stances of feminist and queer critique, it is possible to assume that the work of NYX ‐ an electronic drone choir ‐ addresses vocal composition from an inclusive and posthuman point of view. Through the interview conducted by Francesco Bentivegna with Sian O’Gorman, this voicing explores how the NYX experience might fit in the latest feminist waves, being a shout for a more inclusive, less patriarchal and non-exploited use of technologies.

It has been almost universally adopted that dissolution of solids proceeds with development of uniform, continuous frontiers of reaction. However this point of view is doubtful / 1 /. E.g. we have proved the active role of the block (grain) boundaries in the main phases of cement, these boundaries being the areas of hydrate phases' nucleation / 2 /. It has brought to the supposition that the dissolution frontier of cement particles in water is discrete. It seems also probable that the dissolution proceeds through the channels, which serve both for the liquid phase movement and for the drainage of the incongruant solution products. These channels can be appeared along the block boundaries. In order to demonsrate it, we have offered the method of phase-contrast impregnation of the hardened cement paste with the solution of methyl metacrylahe and benzoyl peroxide. The viscosity of this solution is equal to that of water.
