Basic directions in the application of ultrasonic technologies in mechanical engineering are considered. The results of investigations on the ultrasonic machining impact upon properties of various media are shown. The ways of technological process control with the use of ultrasound are offered.

The article provides an overview of the principle of the pump D630-90, as well as methods for studying the real conditions of technical support to improve maintainability and optimize technological processes and systems. A technological process for the restoration of the shaft of a centrifugal water pump has been developed and an algorithm for managing it has been proposed, on the basis of which the system for energy-efficient management of the recovery area has been implemented. Also in the article some questions of use, metal-filled compound SK812, and also application of ultrasonic processing of a surface of a shaft of the centrifugal water pump of mark D630-90 are mentioned and considered. The developed technological process of pump shaft restoration showed that it is characterized by simplicity, it fits well into the production process of repair and can be widely used in repair shops.

The rational design of technological processes of parts manufacturing in single and small-scale production is inefficient without wide introduction of modern tools of part manufacturing automation with modern computer-based equipment and software. It is desirable to carry out of automated synthesis of single route technological processes with minimal influence of the operator on the technological environment. The technology of computer-aided design of technological processes is used to develop effective algorithms of functioning of adapted systems for control of technological processes and their implementation when taking into account interrelations with the technological environment. Automated development of technological environments of a given level of design concerning a dedicated technical system is possible on the basis of their rational functional models, created by means of CALS-technologies. The rational use of the SADT methodology with application of the principle of decomposition and development of the SADT-diagrams allows to solve the given technical problems. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to develop and study the vibrational-centrifugal surface strengthening at the finishing and hardening technological operation to provide the required quality parameters and operational characteristics of the parts. The object of this research is a finishing and hardening technological operation. The subject of this research is method and parameters of vibrational-centrifugal surface strengthening to provide the required quality parameters and operational characteristics of the parts. The development of SADT diagrams allows to divide the technological process to technological operations, cutter–setting positions, technological steps, main machining steps etc. In this paper the principles of control of technological operation for vibration-centrifugal strengthening of surfaces of parts are suggested. The experimental device for machining of inner surfaces of parts is described. The initial and detailed model of the operation of the vibrational-centrifugal strengthening is offered. Statistical and structural analysis of technological process made it possible to establish the influence of the parameters of the vibrational-centrifugal strengthening on the geometric and physical-mechanical parameters of the surface quality and associated operational characteristics. Further research in that field will be related on the development of practical recommendations for using of the vibrational-centrifugal surface treatment for improving of the geometric and physical and mechanical parameters of parts surfaces.

The paper describes the improvement of the technology of manufacturing parts and components of aerospace production using computer-aided design and technological process control. The theoretical foundations and algorithms for constructing the technological process of manufacturing parts and components of the aerospace industry using various methods of joining heat-resistant materials, for example, by diffusion welding, are designed on the basis of theoretical and experimental studies proposed by the author of the patented connection method «Method for joining a heat-resistant cobalt-based alloy with silicon nitride-based ceramics» and technological equipment «Installation for obtaining metal-ceramic products», as well as «Attribute database for creating technological processes for obtaining parts of aerospace production by diffusion welding» and «Attribute database of technological equipment, tools and devices for mechanical processing of aerospace production parts», registered in the register of databases of the Russian Federation. The investigation results of the applied simulation modeling programs market from the point of view of the usage possibility and expediency at the development or optimization of technological processes on domestic machinebuilding enterprises are presented. The analysis of the technological processes features in machine-building, and in particular aircraft construction, at domestic enterprises is carried out. The research about the macro-inclusions of three processes: BOF→ LF→ CC, BOF→ RH→ CC and BOF→ LF→ RH→ CC, shows that: The types of inclusion are SiO2-Al2O3-CaO-TiO2-MnO, SiO2 and SiO2-Al2O3. The content of SiO2-Al2O3- CaO-TiO2-MnO in the three processes are 34.2%、23.5% and 27%; The content of SiO2 are 24.4%、47% and 27%; The content of SiO2-Al2O3 are 26.8%、17.6% and 9%. Large inclusion>300μm takes up 69.8%~85% of the total inclusion in billet in three technological processes, and the inclusion, containing K and Na, is the most; slag entrapment in mould is really serious. Considering the cleanliness and cost, the better technological process of MRT3-BA stamping steel is BOF→ RH→ CC.

The article describes the procedure automation of optimization discrete technological processes with using of Bellman’s functional (recurrent) equation and system Mathcad. As rule the technological processes includes n of operations and each operation can be executed by various types of equipment. Expenses (cost, time, …) on execution of i operation by k equipment after execution by j equipment (i-1) operation are known - c (i, j, k). Expenses for execution by k equipment i operation can depend on the equipment - j, which executed previous (i-1) operation. It is necessary to execute automation of optimization technological process with the minimum expenses. The algorithm of the decision of a problem by Bellman’s method includes two phases. The first phase is calculations of the minimum expenses for execution of all partial technological processes, from last operation of process to the first. The second phase is definition of the required optimum set of equipment which is carrying out all technological process with the minimum expenses. The proposed procedure of automation of optimization technological process using Bellman’s method and system Mathcad significantly decreases time and labour costs on execution of such calculations and efficiently to execute investigations related with change of equipment parameters.

Mechanical engineering is one of the fields in which contemporary information technologies are widely applied. Technologies of production mounting processes impose a need for designing software solutions which would significantly improve their performances. First of all, we refer to the acceleration of manipulation process of the integral parts of assembly, their modification and mounting processes themselves. The set of integrated IDEF methods represents basic tools of contemporary strategies and technologies for the advancement of technological and business processes. Within the implementation of the project “Information system of the cylinder assembly mounting technology“, we have conducted a functional and information modelling of technological process of cylinder assembly mounting by applying IDEF method. By information modelling of process data, the conditions for the development of an applicative data model are created.
