Windows energy saving design of residential buildings has increasingly got the attention of people. Through a large number of surveys and analysis of residential buildings in Chongqing and consumers personal experience, the author finds problems and deficiency, and then proposes principles of residential buildings sun shading reconstruction in Chongqing city. Taking the high-rise residential building of one university in Chongqing as reconstruction sample, selecting a specific time period, the author recalculates sun shading coefficient with and without sun shading by using Ecotect software to do simulation analysis. This paper refers to Nissan Tino series models as the research object, the power source of the vehicle makes reasonable distribution by a kind of optimization control strategy of the energy, in order to improving the efficiency of the energy conservation. The experimental data was compared by the advisor software simulation to control strategy, it is verified the effectiveness of the energy saving efficiency.

We followed the green building design concept and the control items list in those standards during structure design of one of the residential area in Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city, which consist of 15~18-story residential building connected to a large underground garage, as is shown below.

In this article, we mixed hollow glass beads with nano-TiO2 and iron oxide red in a certain proportion to prepare a low-brightness, high-reflective, safe, and durable cooling coating throughout the experiments. The coating is suitable for energy-saving in tropical areas. To discuss the energy saving effects of the coating on an exterior envelope in tropical areas, a comparative analysis for two scenario models of a two-story residential building in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was conducted. The results indicated that the heat reflective insulation coating could reduce the exterior envelope surface temperature effectively, and the maximum temperature change was about 6–8 °C. Through calculations, it was found that the annual energy saving rate was 12.9%, which showed that the energy saving effect of the heat insulation coating was obvious in Kuala Lumpur. The brightness of the coating was less than 50%, and its comfort and safety met the requirements.

Abstract The lighting design in a residential building now-a-days is not only limited to general lighting but also it is focused to provide quality lighting with the help of wide range of available luminaire with different orientations as well as colours with efficient use of energy, that opens up accurate characteristics of specific areas in any room of the building. The affordable housings in many states are some of the examples of residential building where most of the flats in a typical floor are using conventional lighting systems which are not energy efficient and light level is low compared to standards. This paper is mainly focused to provide a budget friendly as well as energy efficient lighting design with the help of new and energy efficient lamps using DIALux Software, which can be proposed to renovate the existing conventional lighting systems. In this paper effort has been made to reduce the power consumption in all rooms and lux levels has been achieved as per standard values along with good amount of energy saving with the use of newer technologies.

Chongqing weather conditions as the representative, energy simulation software DesT-c Chongqing office building energy simulation analysis, simulated natural building under different ventilation conditions at room temperature, the energy consumption of building cooling load and air-conditioning system changes, with an emphasis on energy-saving effect of the night ventilation; The study showed that in Chongqing reasonable use of ventilation reduce building natural room temperature to a certain extent; Sensitive indicators of building air conditioning energy consumption than the heating energy consumption of ventilation was significantly; Night ventilation when the number of ventilators is less than 5 times / h, the energy saving effect is very significant.

The characteristics and the development restrict factors in large-diameter area of the traditional three-product heavy medium cyclone are described. The paper mainly describes the structure and principles of large-diameter & energy-saving more medium supplied gravity-fed three-product heavy medium cyclone. The simulation analysis of this cyclone (DWP type) is presented. The results show that this type of more medium supplied cyclone is better than the one medium supplied cyclone for it has a faster separation speed, high processing ability and better separation efficiency. The applications in field of the 3SNWX1500/1100-Ⅳ type cyclone which using the new technology indicated that there have energy-saving, a high output, a stable separation efficiency, a high precision and a significant economic benefits.

There are some architectural factors in the energy saving design of residential houses in Taiwan. In addition, in rural area, window glazing is a key factor to reducing electricity. For these purposes, a simulation model of exterior shading has been done in this study. Various types of shading devices have been analysed and compared in terms of energy savings. Simulation analysis by DesignBuilder reveals that shading devices has substantial impact to minimizing energy consumption. The results derived in this paper could provide useful suggestions for the shading design of residential buildings at rural area in Taiwan.
