This research aims to determine the effect of profitability, leverage, liquidity and activity on financial distress. The research period is 2018. The approach in this study is quantitative research with all manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2018 as the population, which were then selected by purposive sampling method to obtain samples. This research uses logistic regression analysis method. The results of the study indicate that profitability has a negative effect on financial distress as indicated by the regression coefficient of -0.40732. and the prob value. 0.0097 is less than 0.05. Leverage has a positif effect on financial distress. This refers to the regression coefficient of 0.090522 and the prob value. 0.0353<0.05. Liquidity has no effect on financial distress conditions. This refers to the regression coefficient of 0.003604 and the resulting significance value is greater than the required level of significance, namely 0.503> 0.05. Activity has negative effect on financial distress. This refers to the regression coefficient of -0.09906 and the resulting significance value is less than required, namely  0.0047<0.05.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the impact of leverage and financial distress on going concern audit opinions of mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with the 2012-2017 research period. Leverage was proxied using debt to asset ratio (DAR), and financial distress was proxied using Altman Z-Score. The object of this research used were 17 mining sector companies selected based on the random purposive sampling method. This study used data processing logistic regression analysis using SPSS version 25. The results of this research was financial distress have negative effect on going concern modification opinions, while leverage had no effect on going concern audit opinion.                         Keywords: Financial Distress, Leverage, Going Concern Audit Opinion

ABSTRACT        This study aimed to examine and analyze the executive characters, profitability, leverage and independent commissioners on tax avoidance, and the effect of character executive, profitability, leverage and independent commissioners on tax avoidance with institutional ownership as a moderating variable. The population in this study is the Manufacturing Companies in the Industrial Consumer Goods Sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2018. The sample in this study is only 100 companies that passed in the sample criteria. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling method. The analytical method is using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that executive character had negative effect on tax avoidance, profitability had no effect on tax avoidance, leverage had an effect on tax avoidance, and independent commissioners had no effect on tax avoidance. And also, institutional ownership can strengthen the moderation between character executive with tax avoidance, institutional ownership can weaken the moderation between profitability with tax avoidance, institutional ownership can weaken the moderation between leverage with tax avoidance. ABSTRAK        Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis karakter eksekutif, profitabilitas, leverage, komisaris independen terhadap tax avoidance, serta pengaruh dari karakter eksekutif, profitabilitas, leverage terhadap tax avoidance dengan kepemilikan institusional sebagai variabel moderasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu Perusahaan Manufaktur Sektor Industri Barang Konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2014-2018. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 perusahaan yang lolos dalam kriteria sampel. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter eksekutif berpengaruh terhadap tax avoidance, profitabilitas dan komisaris independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap tax avoidance, leverage berpengaruh terhadap tax avoidance. Kepemilikan institusional dapat memperkuat moderasi antara pengaruh karakter eksekutif dengan tax avoidance, kepemilikan institusional dapat memperlemah moderasi antara profitabilitas dan leverage dengan tax avoidance. Public Accounting Firm (PAF) switching in companies follows the regulation number 17/PMK.01/2008 article 3 of the Minister of Finance Republik Indonesia, which is in a period of 6 years or voluntarily. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the size of PAF, financial distress (FD), firm size of client (FSC), client management switching (CMS), audit comitee switching (ACS) to PAF switching voluntarily on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2010-2014. The population in this research are manufacturing companies listed in IDX in 2010-2014. The sample in this study were taken by purposive sampling method and 21 companies are selected as the sample by criteria. These variables are then tested using logistic regression at a significance level of 5 percent. The result showed that the size of PAF, FD, FSC, CMS does not affect PAF Switching and ACS has affect PAF Switching. The limitations of this research, the variables used only five independent variables, the research period only five years, and sample selection is only based on a purposive sampling.

This study aims to determine the effect of audit tenure, company size, and KAP's reputation on audit quality. The theory used in this research is agency theory. This research used quantitative research method. This data collected was secondary data by documentation and literature study. The sample used in this study was manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 – 2018.  The sample of this study amounted to 128 observational data from 32 companies chosen by purposive sampling method. The analysis used logistic regression analysis. The results showed audit tenure and KAP's reputation have a significant effect on audit quality, while firm size has no significantly effect on audit quality. This study aims to determine whether the financial ratios that proxied by Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, and Earning Before Interest, tax, Depreciation, and Amortization  affect to Financial distress in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX from  2013  to  2017. The  samples  consist  of  46  manufacturing  companies. The data  analysis  method used is logistic regression analysis. The results showed that Total Asset Turnover and Earning  Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization influence partially to Financial Distress. Whereas, Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio has not influence partially to Financial distress. The results showed that Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and Earning Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) influence simultaneously to Financial Distress on manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2013-2017.

In general, entrepreneurs always maximize profits. One way to maximize profits by avoiding paying taxes. Tax avoidance is a means of exploiting legal loopholes so that employers do not pay tax or pay tax but are very small. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability, size, leverage, audit committee, independent commissioners and company age on tax avoidance. This type of research is quantitative research. The sampling method uses a purposive sampling method, so as many as 30 property and real estate companies are listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2016-2018. The data used in this research is secondary data. Data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. The result of this study indicate that the variable profitability, audit committee, independent commissioner has no effect on tax avoidance. While the variable size, leverage, and age of the company affect the tax avoidance.

This study aims to examine the factors that determine the change of auditors in finance companies. Companiy growth, audit delay, firm size, managerial ownership, change in management, financial distress, KAP size, and audit opinion used to determine auditor switching. The sample used in this study consisted of 11 samples of finance companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during 2013-2017. The sample in this study used purposive sampling method. Data analysis method uses logistic regression analysis using SPSS version 23.0. The result shows company's growth, audit delay, company size, management financial distress  have effect on switching Auditors while audit opinion,KAP size and managerial ownership has no effect on auditor switching.

<span>This study aimed to determine the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, debt financing, ownership dispersion, profitability, and firm size simultaneously and partially on income smoothing.This study uses manufacturing companies listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange as an object of research. Based on purposive sampling method there are 147 companies that found the above criteria. Data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study showed that ownership dispersion and size of company that has a significant effect partially on income smoothing. The larger company and expanding company's ownership structure has greater freedom to report better earnings.</span>

This study aims to determine and analyze (1) the effect of the cash conversion cycle on financial distress, (2) the effect of chief executive officer power on financial distress, (3) the effect of the cash conversion cycle on leverage, (4) the effect of chief executive officer power on leverage (5) Effect of cash conversion cycle on leverage (6) Effect of cash conversion cycle on financial distress through leverage (7) Effect of chief executive officer power on financial distress through leverage. This research is a type of quantitative research. In this study using agency theory and stakeholder theory. The population in this study were all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2016-2020. The sample determination in this study used purposive sampling with a sample size of 80. The research data is secondary data accessed through www.idx.co.id. The results showed that the cash conversion cycle had a positive and significant effect on financial distress. Chief executive officer power has a positive and significant effect on financial distress. Cash conversion cycle has a positive and significant effect on leverage. Cash conversion cycle has a negative effect on leverage. Cash conversion cycle has a positive effect on financial distress through leverage.
