The study includes the recording the absorption and permeability spectra of a combination of polyaniline compound solution with poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) PEDOT and calculating the absorption factor and other optical constants. These samples were attended to different concentrations (0.01%,0.02%,0.03%) of PEDOT added to polyaniline. The values of absorbance, the refractive index values of pure polymer and its additives are increasing with the increase of the concentrations of these polymer, noting that the increment of absorption coefficient values under the influence of addition caused by increasing density of the solutions as a result of the increased concentrations, that led to the increase of light absorbed because the interaction of the electromagnetic wave and the large molecules of the polymer increases with concentration, the results show that decreasing in the values of transmittance with all concentrations, the values of reflectance are increases with increasing concentration before and after the doping, the results showed decrease energy gap with increasing ratio of doping.

Films of polymer (polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)) doped with CuCl salt at different concentrations (2 and 10) wt% were prepared using casting technique. The optical properties of the films were studied after annealing. The transmission and absorption spectra have been recorded in the wavelength range of (300-1100) nm. The effect of annealing on the optical properties for (PVA-CuCl) films with different concentrations (2 and 10) wt% of copper chloride salt shows that the transmittance decreased after annealing for all the films. The optical constants (absorption coefficient, refractive index, extinction coefficient, real and imaginary parts of dielectric constant) for all the films are affected by annealing. The energy gap (Eg) of all the films decreased after annealing.

In this paper,Zinc oxide was dopped by various concentrations (5,10,15,20,25) % wt, silicon oxide The mixture was deposited on glass substrate by laser pulse deposition at room temperature to obtain (Zn2SiO4) thin films .The optical properties of thin films  prepared on spectral absorption and transmission  recording were studied at  the wavelength range (200- 1100) nm. Some of the optical constants, including absorptance, transmission, absorption coefficient, and energy gap are calculated before and after annealing at (400 ̊C) for (1 hr). Absorptance values and absorption coefficient increase after doping and transmission and energy gap decreases after the doping. Absorbance values and absorption coefficient decreases after annealing and transmission and energy gap increase after  the annealing .   http://dx.doi.org/10.25130/tjps.24.2019.015

Cr2O3 thin films have been prepared by spray pyrolysis on a glass substrate. Absorbance and transmittance spectra were recorded in the wavelength range (300-900) nm before and after annealing. The effects of annealing temperature on absorption coefficient, refractive index, extinction coefficient, real and imaginary parts of dielectric constant and optical conductivity were expected. It was found that all these parameters increase as the annealing temperature increased to 550°C.

In this research study the effect of irradiation by (CW) CO2 laser on some optical properties of (Cds) doping by Ni thin films of (1)µm thickness has been prepared by heat evaporation method. (X-Ray) diffraction technique showed the prepared films before and after irradiation are ploy crystalline hexagonal structure, optical properties were include recording of absorbance spectra for prepared films in the range of (400-1000) nm wave lengths, the absorption coefficient and the energy gap were calculated before and after irradiation, finally the irradiation affected (CdS) thin films by changing its color from the Transparent yellow to dark rough yellow and decrease the value absorption coefficient also increase the value of energy gap.

In this work, study the optical properties of composites consisting of poly Methyl Methacrylate and Berry Paper Mulberry. The samples of composites were prepared using casting method .The Berry Paper Mulberry (BPM) was added by different concentrations are (0, 2, 4 and 6)wt.%. The optical properties of composites have been studied in the wavelength range (200-800)nm. The absorption coefficient ,energy gap, refractive index, extinction coefficient and dielectric constants have been determined. The results show that the optical constants change with increase of BPM concentrations .

Copper oxide prepared with various contains of Manganese by chemical spray pyrolysis. Some optical properties are studied from recording the absorption spectra via UV-Visible spectrophotometer in the range of 460-900 nm. The absorbance increased with increasing Mn-contain in the CuO thin films, and the absorption coefficient. Extinction coefficient and refractive index are decreased with increasing Mn-contain in the CuO thin films, also the energy gap shifted from 2 eV to 1.91 eV after 4%Mn additive.

The effect of continuous CO2laser radiation on the optical properties of pure polyvinyl chloride and doped of ZnO nanoparticles with two different concentrations (10, 15%) has been investigated. All samples were prepared using casting method at room temperature. Optical properties (absorption, transmission, absorption coefficient, extinction coefficient, refractive index, and optical conductivity) of all films after CO2laser irradiated have been studied as a function of the wavelength in the range (200–800) nm for three energies (300, 400 and 500 mJ). It has been found that the transmission, energy gap, and refractive index increase with increasing laser energy. The values of absorption, Urbach energy, absorption coefficient, extinction coefficient, and optical conductivity were decreased.

In this study, some optical properties were studied of the pure vinyl polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanopolymer (German origin). Under the influence of different temperatures and pressures of PVA. Where 25 samples were prepared for the purpose of conducting the research. Which studied the study of these samples was done by recording the absorbance and transmittance spectra of the wavelengths (200-900) nm. From them, absorbance, transmittance, reflectivity, absorption coefficient, refractive index, extinction coefficient, complex dielectric constant were calculated. At different temperatures (25,40, 80, 120, 160)°C. And with different pressures within the range (7.5,8,8.5,9,9.5) MPa. The results are that the permeability of the polymer (PVA) at different temperatures for each pressure decreases with increasing temperature, and that all other calculated optical properties increase with increasing temperature.

We have developed an analytical method to describe the optical properties of nanoparticles, whose results are in agreement with the observed experimental behavior according to the size of the nanoparticle under analysis. Our considerations to describe plasmonic absorption and dispersion are based on the combination of the two-level molecular system and the two-dimensional quantum box models. Employing the optical stochastic Bloch equations, we have determined the system's coherence, from which we have calculated expressions for the absorption coefficient and refractive index. The innovation of this methodology is that it allows us to take into account the solvent environment, which induce quantum effects not considered by classical treatments.

In this paper I present the preparation of (Sb2o3) thin films using thermal evaporation in vacuum, procedure with different thickness  (100 ,150 ,200 ,and 250) nm, by using ( hot plate) from Molybdenum matter at temperature in ( 9000c) and the period of time (15mint) ,the prepared in a manner thermal evaporation in a vacuum and precipitated on glass bases, pure Antimony Trioxide (sb2o3 ) thin films with various condition have been successfully deposited by (T.E.V) on glass slide substrates. The substrates temperature of about 100oC and the vacuum of about 10-6 torr, to investigated oxidation of evaporated, measure spectra for prepared films in arrange of wavelength (250 – 1100 nm). The following optical properties have been calculated: the absorption coefficient, the forbidden (Eg) for direct and indirect transitions "absorbance, refractive index,  extinction coefficient, real and imaginary parts" of the dielectric constant.
