The article makes a comprehensive attempt to classify the cultural war as a semantic manipulative phenomenon in a new type of information society. The features and causes of development of identity crisis in the context of semantic manipulations of media reality are outlined. The urgency of the research is that a new information age is filled with insidious meanings that offers a system of the same insidious information procedural “performances”. In its turn they are embodied in long held images, forming an entirely new semantic system, and creating a space of permanent action, in which the choice remains for a person of a new information age, who reveals a considerable level of intellectual skill through dialogue or protest, or, on the contrary, acts according to normalized, “dictated”, imposed cult, from which the principles of whole culture are emerging. The result of individual outbreaks of resistance to “information performances” through the collective will of the nation, which seems to be a muscle, which is intensively practiced in the light of the Rusian-Ukrainian war, is justified by the need to preserve the skills of the society to create the nation, or the nation’s identity. One can concede that at the level of nation there is emergence of greatest amount of conflicts associated with the attempt to destroy the cultural core (the nucleus of the nation), which is formed from the norms, standards, values of a certain ethnic group. The main function of such a nucleus is providing for a system of formed cultural codes in order to preserve the nation’s identity. Summing up the results of the research, the author comes to the conclusion that the typology of the cultural war proposed is conditional, but it gives grounds to talk about the symptomatic appearance of semantic disorientation and the identity crisis. In this situation, understanding and differentiation on the basis of own “mental identifier” will become extremely important in order to consolidate the individuals in terms of new conditions.

This article is devoted to analysis of the modern problems of book publishing in the context of national information space. Development of the Ukrainian state is impossible without development of national book publishing, which is a part of its information space. In Ukraine, as one of the post-Soviet states, the formation of new information and communication system is based on its own information tradition, mentality and features of spiritual culture of the Ukrainians. It plays an important role in shaping culture, spirituality, comprehensive vision and consciousness of the nation. They were and they are a source of knowledge and the most effective way of its transfer. The transience of processes occurring the era of information society, radical socio-economic reforms, sectoral technological revolution requires the continuous scientific researches and analysis, identifying the trends in publishing industry as one of the most important factors in the state’s democratic progress. The author summarizes the development of book publishing of Ukraine and shows its role and place in the modern information society. The study of the modern book publishing is impossible without digression into the past, without finding out the roots of studying of the analysis object. The specific problems of the book industry are identified. It is concluded that in the modern Ukraine the publishing business has intensified, although the positive changes are taking place very slowly: the appropriate economic conditions for development of the publishing industry have not been created, the equipment are outdated; editorial, publishing and printing equipment of domestic manufacture are nonavailable; introduction of advanced technology are low; purchasing ability of the population is low; the sales network of printed products has been destroyed and so on. The businesses are becoming increasingly uneconomical. We propose some measures to improve this situation, strengthening the role of industry in the national information space. The key to improve the situation may be systematic and persistent efforts of the Ukrainian government to support the industry.The reason is that a comprehensive study requires from the performers not only historical knowledge, but also economic, managerial, psychological, political efforts and so on. The most important thing that the society and the state should need is the component of doctrine of information security in the context of the national security

Strategies of Inclusion Gender and the Information Society (SIGIS) was a European study exploring initiatives to include more women in the information society.1 This article summarises its main conclusions. The work started from the premise that overall more women than men are excluded from the information society, both as users and as designers of new information and communications technologies (ICTs). Our literature review (Sørensen & Stewart, 2002) confirmed that there is still a gender gap in terms of ownership of some ICT products and, to a lesser extent, in terms of access and use. Gender cuts across other dynamics in the digital divide—income, occupation and age being generally more significant than gender—with other factors (e.g., ethnic minorities, lone parent families) also intervening. Although the trend with respect to the use of ICT products is one of a closing gender gap, it is clear that diffusion alone is not sufficient to close the gap all together; inclusion efforts are still warranted in this area. By contrast, the literature review revealed a persistent and sizeable gender gap within computer specialisms and professions designing ICTs. The proportion of women entering computer science and engineering courses in most countries is static or in decline, in spite of sustained inclusion efforts. So, the overall picture across Europe is a contradictory one: optimistic with respect to what we call women and ICT (users), and pessimistic with respect to women in ICT (professionals).

The article describes the concept of a new geographic information system for the provision of electronic state and municipal services. The problem of the lack of an open portal in the Internet for choosing unencumbered and suitable for use for the intended purpose land plots is considered. The importance of information systems in the development of the digital economy and information society in the Russian Federation is shown. The analysis of existing geographic information systems is given in a generalized and systematic way. As a result, it was found that the main drawback of the existing systems is the limitation of a certain territory and a set of services. It is concluded that it is necessary to display the free land. Automatic notifications should be sent to the competent authorities. The new information system should have direct and feedback links with all information and geographic information systems in operation and being developed in Russia. The results and conclusions are applicable to the creation of new geographic information systems.

In this study, which is used as an object of research that is in the system of borrowing and returning tools. In operational activities it still uses a manual and conventional system, unsupported by an integrated system. From the observations and research, the author finally built an Information System as solution. The information system is designed and built with a web-based platform using Notepad ++ as its programming editor, MYSQL front as a data base editor, XAMPP as a database server and PDF as a report viewer media. Apply the Squence Diagram method in software development. This new information system is expected to be able to assist in the company's activities, such as in making loan forms, return forms and loan and repayment reports, etc. The application of this Information System is expected to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and performance of the company PT Esco Bintan. After the existence of this Information System the company can operate this system more quickly and easily without requiring a very long time to operate the work. And the company is very easy to find the required documents and storage is very safe not easily lost

The paper presents in a broad outline the main characteristics of the evolution of the Finnish high-tech industry and ICT sector within the context of general changes in industry and the national economy. In the last decades of the 20th century Finland dynamically developed a knowledge-based economy and became one of the leaders of the information society. A spectacular manifestation of this is the position of the country in global competitiveness rankings, where Finland has occupied a top position for several years, sometimes even being ahead of the United States. The so-called ‘Finnish model of information society’ is characterised, among others, by a significant growth in knowledge-intensive industries and a complex system of research and development support. However, all those changes were dependent on the previous development path of the country. The structure of Finnish industry was rather one-sided until the 1980s, when knowledge- and expertise-intensive production started to catch up with the level of manufacturing dominated by raw materials, capital and energy. For a long time, Finland specialised in the forest industry and in the processing of metals. A new sector that has developed during the past decades is electronics and, especially, the manufacturing of communication devices. Furthermore, the economy has changed more dramatically in Finland than in any other developed country over the same period of time. Industries have become technology-intensive and production is strongly characterised by specialisation. Finland has become the most specialised country in information and communication technology in the world, and this specialisation trend is continuing. The forest industry and other traditional industries rely more and more on the new technologies and state-of-the-art knowledge. In Finland, industrialisation started later than in other countries, but it was very rapid. Industrial production and exports grew faster than the rest of the economy in the 1990s, and the structure of exports diversified. Unlike other developed countries, Finland “re-industrialised” in the 1990s. The contribution of industry to the total volume of production and employment has been higher in Finland than in other advanced economies in the past couple of years.
