Bacterial pneumonia is one of the most important infectious diseases in terms of incidence, effect on quality of life, mortality, and impact on society. Pneumonia was the third leading cause of death in Japan in 2011. In 2016, 119 650 Japanese people died of pneumonia, 96% of whom were aged 65 years and above. The symptoms of pneumonia in elderly people are often atypical. Aspiration pneumonia is seen more frequently than in young people because of swallowing dysfunction in the elderly. The mortality rate is also higher in the elderly than in young people. In Japan, the population is aging at an unprecedented rate, and pneumonia in the elderly will be increasingly important in medicine and medical economics in the future. To manage pneumonia in the elderly, it is important to accurately evaluate its severity, administer appropriate antibiotic treatment, and implement effective preventive measures.

AbstractTalking about sexuality in the third age is a topic still related to taboos, because there is a shortage of mentions and dialogues both by health professionals and by the elderly themselves who are intimidated and stop practicing sexuality due to the repressing society, as well as by the complexity of physiological changes and psychic factors that also collaborate as great factors for non-practice of sexual activity. However, this involvement of love, affection and physical contact establishes a bond of pleasurable bonds that needs to be dialogued throughout all the stages of life. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the scientific production on sexuality in the third age and the problems faced by this population, which encompasses and requires from  the health professionals, especially the nurse as educator in this process of aging and sexuality, when  this article deals with a narrative review carried out through the Virtual Health Library and consultations with the ScientificElectronic Library Online (SciELO), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (Lilacs) and the Medical Literature Analysis andRetrieval System Online (MEDLINE), being followed as inclusion criteria: articles with complete availability and of national origin, as well as direct relationship  with the study. Therefore,  it is possible to take into account aging faced positively, the sexual practice which accepts religion and education, as they are responsible for the  sexual exercise influence, these should be encouraged through visual stimulation, caresses and affection, activity continue to be exercised if the elderly and his or her partner have physical and mental conditions. Thus,, sexuality continues to be built during the course of the human being, and in the face of this process, the nurse must exercise the role of educator, including health education in the professional environment, regarding sex education. Keywords: Elderly. In the face of aging population and the fluidity of intimate relationships, this qualitative study aimed to understand the conjugal dynamics of elderly couples who have been together for more than 20 years. Reflections about the aging, the conjugality formation and the marriage transformations were made by the psychodynamic bias. The Mini-Exam of the Mental State was applied to five Brazilian couples aged from 60 to 83 years old, with an average marriage time of 41.6 years, who were at last interviewed. Such interviews were guided by a semi-directed script with identifying data and five questions previously elaborated according to the research objective. This content was analyzed and their results were thematized showing that couples perceive marriage as a union requiring commitment and sharing of life projects. It was concluded that even amidst a hedonist society, the elderly are not yet thoughtful of individuality, because love for them has a connotation other than a sum of pleasurable moments.

In our society, the proportion of youth is higher than any other society. They are important in this regard. But the real question is whether his views, trends and likes and dislikes are different from other generations of society in political terms. What is the reason for the tendency to see youth as a separate class. That we borrow the principles of politics from the West, where the distinction of generations is more important factor in politics than the distinction of community or class. At one time, parties like the Labor Party and the Green Party have been standing mainly on the vote of the youth for some time. The second reason is that the image of the youth is based on the English-speaking youths living somewhere in the metros. We often consider him to be a symbol of youth. While in reality they are a very small part of our youth. And the third reason is that the part of change, revolution and the politics of change that had set the hopes of the youth are still there in our political understanding. The fact is that the youth class is not very different from the elderly or any other generation in terms of participation in politics, if different then it means that its participation is less than the other class because it is more concerned about education and employment. There is no fundamental difference between the vote of the youth and other generations in terms of voting or political choice. If there is a difference, then only in the sense that the parties who have come in the last 25-30 years have heard more about the youth, hence their choice is more. Older parties usually get little support from the youth. However, it is not related to its youth, because the information about that party is limited to certain people.
