Technical and Vocational Education is one of the various disciplines that believed could encourage the country’s economic growth. Project-Based Learning or PBL was introduced in the Malaysian polytechnics curriculum in terms to produce creative and innovative graduates Thus, Project-Based Learning was introduced because of the ineffectiveness of the traditional lecture method. This study was a kind of descriptive study intended to examine the perception of students and supervisors regarding the Project-Based Learning at one Polytechnic in Malaysia. A population of 170 would be represented by a sample size of 118 respondents and 43 supervisors to participate in the study. The result found that the significant aspect to be included in Project-Based Learning is effective supervising skills. However, from the data, some supervisors have no proficiency skills of Project-Based Learning. Based on the empirical data which derived from the present study, a new framework for Project-Based Learning is suggested for the polytechnics system.

The study’s goal was to know the most important physical and agility of (60) metres young riders and to know how the most important physical and motor skills lead to the end of the (60) metres of competition for young riders. The research community identified young runners for the (60) m competition in the central Euphrates provinces, whose number is (13) runners. A sample of (12) runners was randomly selected from them, and each runner was given (6) attempts so that the sample size becomes (72) attempts.       After completing the process of testing and measuring the search variables, the research results were extracted after statistical treatment. From them, the researchers reached several conclusions, the most important of which were the following:     - The achievement of five physical and motor skills most necessary for young riders (explosive capabilities of both men, distinctive strength of both legs of the speed and distinctive strength of the speed, versatility of both legs of the arm, agility) out of (9) physical and engine abilities) to complete the (60) metre competition. The researchers came up with recommendations, the most important of which are: It is necessary to know the most important physical and motor abilities to accomplish the young runners of the 60-meter Sprint competition.   - It is necessary to focus on developing the essential elements of runners, especially the most important in performing speed competitions, including (the explosive ability of the two men, and the distinctive strength of speed of the legs and arms, flexibility of the legs, agility).

The aim of the study was to identify the attitudes of vocational education students at Al-Balqa Applied University towards enrollment in their academic specialization from their perception, relating them to variables such as gender, the student’s academic year, and academic rating. A descriptive approach was used with a questionnaire which comprised 33 items that measured the students' attitudes towards the vocational education specialization. The study comprised 221 male and female students to whom the questionnaire was distributed in the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020. The study found that the students' attitudes towards the vocational education specialization for the instrument as a whole were positive: 24 items obtained positive attitude scores and 9 items showed an average attitude. It was found that there were no statistically significant differences among vocational-education students’ attitudes towards their enrollment in their academic specialization in terms of the study variables: gender; the student’s academic year (first and second year, third and fourth year); or academic rating (acceptable, good, very good, and excellent). It was also found that there were no statistically significant differences among the vocational education students' attitudes towards their enrollment in their academic specialization. These differences are attributed to the study variables: gender, academic year, and academic rating. It is recommended that: the study plan should be developed to be more comprehensive, and incorporates a diversity of experiences, knowledge, and activities to achieve differentiation of the student's personality. This requires the university and the college to provide diverse and flexible activities to suit the characteristics of students in light of the principles of respecting, meeting and satisfying their inclinations and desires.

Industry revolution 4.0 era provides opportunities as well as threats for the students and alumni graduated from vocational education. Man roles are gradually taken by automatic machines. Consequently, unemployment is increasing. This certainly will contribute to the either local or national problems. Therefore, vocational education students have to intensify their learning achievements. This study discusses the learning achievements of the male and female students at the Shipbuiding Institute of Polytechnic Surabaya (PPNS) and Medan State Polytechnic (Polmed). The analysis of learning achievements in this study used the documentation data of the GPA in scale 4, taking the whole population either male (M) or female (F) in the academic year 2015/2016, 2016/2017, and 2017/2018. In the last three years, total PPNS’s graduates are 1959 (1418 male, 541 female) and Polmed’s are 5938 (2821 male, 3117 female). Based on the descriptive quantitative analysis, the average of learning achievements at PPNS shows that accumulated GPA of the female students’ is 3.39 > male students’ 3.28. While at Polmed, it is GPA of female students’ is 3.27 > male students’ 3.14. Total of students is still gender imbalance referring to the graduates data in year 2018 for PPNS’ Welding Study Program in which having only two female students with average GPA 3.41 and 53 students with average GPA 3.15, meanwhile at Polmed, the total students with largest gap in gender occured at the Mechanical Engineering Study Program with total of male students 240 (average GPA 3.10) and female students only 11 (average GPA 3.20). This result indicates that in these two vocational educational institutions, e.i. PPNS and Polmed, the learning achievement of female students is betterand more competitivable than the other

In the Philippines, Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) systems became the jurisdiction of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as legally mandated in RA 7796 otherwise known as the TESDA Act of 1994. The TVET provides education and training opportunities to prepare students and other clients for employment.  The study determined the profile and level of efficiency of TVET providers in the provinces of Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur, Caraga Region, Philippines. It employed descriptive research design. Data were collected using the validated survey instrument. These were subjected to statistical treatment using mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The results showed that, overall, TVET providers are very efficient in terms of training provision across all seven facets measured. However, there are specific areas where the level of efficiency needs to be improved. This implies that the efficient TVET providers may have the influx of enrollment, records of creditable trainees and support from stakeholders once sustained. It likewise supports the directions of TVET in the Philippines in enhancing the quality, relevance, access and equity in the system.  It is recommended that the training courses should be made more efficient using the principle of “economies of scale.”   Keywords - Technology Education, efficiency, TVET providers, descriptive-evaluative design, Philippines

A number of researchers have argued that ipsative data are not suitable for statistical procedures designed for normative data. Others have argued that the interpretability of such analyses of ipsative data are little affected where the number of variables and the sample size are sufficiently large. The research reported here represents a factor analysis of the scores on the Canfield Learning Styles Inventory for 1,252 students in vocational education. The results of the factor analysis of these ipsative data were examined in a context of existing theory and research on vocational students and lend support to the argument that the factor analysis of ipsative data can provide sensibly interpretable results.
