AbstractThe experimental apparatus and its optimization for holographic imaging with energy dependent photoelectron diffraction are described. A substantial improvement in data taking efficiency has resulted, allowing total data collection time to be reduced to about twelve hours for a single image-map.

Comparison between ReST API and SOAP web services in providing data services that are carried out to support the improvement of these web services. The data tested is divided into 2, namely data with the same size format and data with different size formats. The test is divided into 3 stages, the first collecting with 10 data, the second 20 data, and the third 30 data, by carrying out data loading from each comparing web service. From the overall results obtained from the ReST API runs faster than SOAP. With an overall total data collection time on different devices with the same size format in the ReST API it produces 3.4 seconds and SOAP produces 3.9 seconds. While receiving data on different devices with different size formats on the ReST API, it takes 4.7 seconds and SOAP takes 5.3 seconds.

The development of the hydration stages for electron microscopes has opened up the application of electron diffraction in the study of biological membranes. Membrane specimen can now be observed without the artifacts introduced during drying, fixation and staining. The advantages of the electron diffraction technique, such as the abilities to observe small areas and thin specimens, to image and to screen impurities, to vary the camera length, and to reduce data collection time are fully utilized. Here we report our pioneering work in this area.

Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi, Berbasis Masyarakat, PendataanABSTRACT Manual data collection causes problems in the data collection process, this also occurs in the Pasuruan City Education and Culture Office where data collection is still manual with a limited number of Human Resources (HR) assigned to collect data, therefore this service activity is carried out information system training to increase data collection time and reduce complexity in the data collection process for employees at the Pasuruan City Education and Culture Office. The information system training referred to is a community-based data collection information system, which contains basic data required by the Regional Government in the framework of formulating development plans. Information data will not provide benefits if it is not used as a reference in the preparation of development plans so that training and assistance are needed to achieve the goals. Keywords : Information System, Community Based, Data Collection

AbstractThe first structural determination with spin-polarized, energy-dependent photoelectron diffraction using circularly-polarized x-rays is reported for Fe films on Cu(001). Circularly-polarized x-rays produce spin-polarized photoelectrons from the Fe 2p doublet, and intensity asymmetries in the 2p3/2 level are observed. Fully spin-specific multiple scattering calculations reproduce the experimentally-determined energy and angular dependences. A new analytical procedure which focuses upon intensity variations due to spin-dependent diffraction is introduced. A sensitivity to local geometric and magnetic structure is demonstrated.

Cyber defense is increasingly important for the wellbeing of our economy and our national defense. Universities can help meet our growing cybersecurity needs by training the next generation of cyber defenders, and it is crucial that the curricula for such programs are designed to prepare students for the type of work that is performed in the field. Unfortunately, collecting data about cyber work is hindered in situations where cybersecurity professionals are uncomfortable with traditional human factors work analysis methods. Four potential constraints are 1) no naturalistic observations, 2) anonymity and safety, 3) short data collection time, and 4) no deep process questions. We developed a brief interview technique that allowed us to measure the importance of knowledge, skills, and abilities related to offensive and defensive cyber work. Based on our experience using this technique, it fits within the four potential constraints to cyber research and produces information that is directly applicable to the development of cybersecurity curricula. Our technique could potentially be used for other research purposes and personnel selection and by researchers interested in other high-security populations.
