Sopian, a shoemaker, is one of several shoemakers in Campakamulya village, Cimaung District, Bandung Regency. The usual problem found is lack of funding to expand the business and difficulties in marketing the products. The purpose of this activity is to give the knowledge, training, and coaching on SWOT analysis (Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats) and marketing strategies. The target of this community service is expected to give the best understanding and plan for future business development and getting funding by reorganizing and expanding the marketplace. The result shown is Sopian’s increasing knowledge of SWOT analysis and marketing strategy, sales increased and increased assets that have a gallery.

The internationalisation and globalisation of today’s world, especially in business, brings whole new range of opportunities, challenges and also many kinds of risks. Today´s global market in process of globalization offers many different ways of doing business and also whole new ranges of methods how to analyse optimize and also minimize it´s risks. The issue of bankruptcy models is still relevant given by the high competition in the markets and the increasingly frequent crises. Not only in the world, but also in our country, we can see a huge number of bankruptcies of businesses. If the company wants to thrive and successfully compete in the market environment, it should conduct a regular financial analysis of its activities, evaluate successes and failures, and use the results obtained to make strategic decisions about future business development. The aim of the article is to examine the possibilities of predicting the bankruptcy of companies and describe their individual procedures. In the first part of the paper we defined the terms such as insolvency, decline of company and bankruptcy. We continue with a brief overview of the development of bankruptcy models from the first attempts to modern practices. We have described and defined each model in detail, described its specifics, and described the calculation procedure. The biggest added value of this paper is a comprehensive elaboration of an overview of the possibilities of predicting company manrots through bankruptcy models. We can say that the goal of the post has been fulfilled.

The purpose of this study is to: (1) review and analyze the strategies that have been implemented by 10 young entrepreneur’s Program of IbK of STIEAD Jakarta in developing their businesses over the years; (2) identify and analyze the strategies that will be run by them for the next day; (3) analyze and formulate proposals for business development strategy is relevant to young entrepreneurs run by them. The results shows, the strategy which conducted by them is actually still conventional and little is applying modern business patterns. However, they have a plan/strategy development effort that started steady state. Targets that have been set should be reassessed and to be rationalized, if the strategy is capable of being implemented. The recommendations concerned are for all tenants should have self determination for entrepreneurship, able to instill confidence, and always looking for a way out in case of a deadlock

Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) adalah salah satu penggerak perekonomian suatu daerah, termasuk Kota Sorong. UKM di Kota Sorong belum berkembang secara optimal. Ada beberapa penyebab diantaranya adalah mengenai finansial, lokasi, bahan baku dan lain-lain. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalah tersebut peneliti terdorong untuk melakukan pengembangan Aplikasi yang dapat membantu menentukan prioritas UKM yang sesuai dengan kondisi pelaku usaha. Pada penelitian ini akan digunakan metode Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP), untuk pengambilan keputusannya. Metode AHP dipilih karena mampu menyeleksi dan menentukan alternatif terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif yang tersedia. Dalam hal ini alternatif yang dimaksudkan yaitu UKM terbaik yang dapat dipilih oleh pelaku usaha sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari nilai bobot untuk setiap atribut, kemudian dilakukan proses perankingan yang akan menentukan alternatif yang optimal, yaitu UKM. Aplikasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan yang dikembangkan berbasis Android, dimana pengguna akan mudah menggunakannya sewaktu-waktu jika terjadi perubahan bobot pada kriteria atau intensitas.  Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa metode AHP berhasil diterapkan pada Aplikasi Penentuan Prioritas Pengembangan UKM.

The paper deals with the research devoted to characteristics of high tech business development in Russia. Companies’ performance indicators have been analyzed with the help of regression analysis and author’s scheme of leadership stability and sustainability assessment. Data provided by Russia’s Fast Growing High-Tech Companies’ National Rating (TechUp) during 2012-2016 were used. The results have revealed that the high tech sector is characterized by high level of uncertainty. Limited number of regions and sectors which form the basis for high tech business have been defined. Relationship between innovation activity’s indicators and export potential is determined.
