An important aspect of ethical conduct of field research is for the researcher to have an appropriate relationship with the legitimate gatekeepers of the field site. This paper describes our experiences of obtaining approval from regulatory authorities in Thailand for field research on Burmese migrants, and discusses the nature and rationale of such government control in Asia and Western countries. It is intended to guide future humanitarian researchers who are planning to study oppressed groups at politically sensitive research sites where regulatory authorities monitor both research sites and research performance. Thailand, like several other Southeast Asian countries, operates a permit system for foreign researchers. This permit system is designed to promote research activities in Thailand so that the results can be used to further the country's development, and to enhance the cooperation and collaboration between Thai and foreign researchers providing opportunities for the exchange of knowledge, technical expertise, and experience. This control of foreign researchers is not prohibitive; foreign humanitarian researchers can organize research and advance the welfare of targeted oppressed populations in cooperation with government agencies.

Lithuania is successfully integrated in the European geomagnetic field research activities. Six secular variation research stations were established in 1999 and precise geomagnetic field measurements were performed there in 1999, 2001, 2004, 2007 and 2016. Obtained diurnal magnetic field variations at measuring station and neighbouring observatories were analysed. All measurements are reduced to the mean of the year using data from geomagnetic observatory of Belsk. Based on the measured data the analysis of geomagnetic field parameter secular changes was performed. Results of the presented research are useful for updating the old geomagnetic data as well as for estimation of accuracy of declination model.

The environmental damage that occurs is because of the human hands themselves, namely the lack of a sense of care for the environment they have. Therefore, cultural values that care about the environment will be better if they are instilled early on in the students. This study aims to find out the environmentally caring character education in Assalihiyah Thungphla Middle School, Khokpho, Pattani, Southern Thailand along with the factors that are supporting and inhibiting the cultivation of environmental caring characters in students. This type of research is field research and is qualitative descriptive. Data of this study were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of character education in Assalihiyah Middle School was focused on the problem of maintaining environmental cleanliness. The cultivation of character caring for the environment includes the realization of the Green Environment program as applicable in Indonesia. Environmental care character education is provided with various models, one of which is exemplary. The supporting factors for character education in the environment here are the habit of diligent home students and the participation of teachers, while the inhibiting factor is the laziness of students and different conditions outside the community.

ABSTRACTThis research discusses and analyzes the mechanism of using Brizzi E-money issued by BRI Bank Blora Branch Office, as well as the perspective of Sharia Economic Law on the use of the card mechanism. Especially the electronic payment instruments issued by Bank BRI namely E-Money Brizzi. This research not only examines law theoretically, but also looks at it from the practice and application side in the field. This type of research is field research, namely research activities carried out at BRI Bank Blora Branch Office. The research approach which used is a qualitative descriptive research approach, which is an approach used to understand the phenomena about what is experienced by the subject and object of research. The results of this study concluded that the use of Brizzi E-money cards had met the legal and legal requirements for consent. In addition, when viewed from the aspect of cases that in validate the legality of the sale and purchase law, the use of Brizzi e-money cards in the sale and purchase transaction does not include elements that cancel the sale and purchase such as elements of gharar, maysir, and usury. The deduction of administrative funds due to transactions using the Brizzi e-money card has a similarity to the wakalah bil ujrah system in Sharia Economic Law. However, base on the results of the analysis conducted by the author, it is found that th euse of Brizzi e-money cards is not in accordance with the theory of wadi'ah dueto the unfulfillment of conditions and harmony in theuse, alsois not in line with the concept of wadi'ah yad amanah and wadi ' ah yad dhamanah from the aspect of the burden of responsibility for the party entrusted. Besides that, the use of Brizzi e-money cards is also not in accordance with the qardh theory. This is because in addition to not fulfilling one of the pillars and qardh validity requirements, also in the qardha fter the contract is said, the goods or asset swhich become the object of qardh automatically be come the property of the party receiving the loan. Where as in the system of using Brizzi e-money cards, the electronic money that is on the card after being deposited to the bank remains the property of the card holder. Keywords: E-Money, Brizzi, Sharia Economic Law, BRI Bank

Purpose: The paper brings a set of original information related to analysis and description of the current state in the area of excellence models implementation in Czech organisations. It defines these terms, analyses results of special research in Czech organisations and proposes a comprehensive and generic framework how to achieve the organisational excellence. The principal goal of this paper is to present the main possibilities, benefits, limitations and risks related to the practical use of excellence models in Czech organisations.

Methodology/Approach: Brainstorming conferences, field research and relevant data analysis, seminars with quality professionals and other managers, comparative literature analysis and interviews were used to reach the principal goal.

Findings: The organisational excellence concept is now widely discussed and implemented throughout the world. Unlike, the real situation in most Czech organizations is rather else. Level of knowledge and overall people awareness related to this concept and various excellence models is very low. This finding supports the assumption that is necessary to change company culture towards never-ending excellence effort in Czech organisations by way of systematic knowledge (including best practices) sharing among all levels of organizations staff.

Research Limitation/implication: Special research activities focused on analysis and description of current state in area of excellence models implementation, which was performed on a sample of 321 Czech organisations (with more than 20% response rate). Such level of response rate was seriously influenced by the fact that practical use of various excellence models in Czech organisations is rather limited in present days. However, we can suppose the obtained results should be valid or interesting also for another organization, not only in the Czech Republic.

Originality/Value of paper: The paper brings an original set of information from special market research as well as the development of a creative and generic framework of the organisational excellence tailored to Czech organisations.
