Abstract This study investigates the importance of fundamental elements of collaborative arrangements from the perspective of the actors operating in Brazilian science parks, and assesses whether these collaborative arrangements are found in the parks’ daily practices. Factor analysis identified ten variables considered most relevant, separated into three factors: (i) individual - commitment and motivation among actors; (ii) inter-organizational - interdependence between parties, the participation of all institutions in decision-making, the involvement of various institutions, and trust; and (iii) financial - funding sources and investments. Frequency analysis identified three elements of collaborative governance, although they are not highly prevalent in Brazilian science parks: commitment among actors, participation of all institutions in decision-making, and investment-related issues.

"Even the best governance and public administration systems can fail because of lack of accountability. This paper reviews the factors likely to affect the accountability of the collaborative governance system and suggests concrete measures to ensure accountability. As an empirical case of collaborative governance, 300 Korean community centers were sampled by region and by size. Exploratory Factor Analysis was conducted to identify the determinant factors for the accountability of collaborative governance. This analysis found the following factors to be the most important in ensuring accountability in a collaborative governance system: clarity of laws and regulations, representativeness of participants, transparency and democracy in the decision-making process, and performance management and incentive systems. The analysis also found that it is necessary to conceive different performance management and incentive systems for public and civil groups."

Background/Objectives: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of exercise commitment facilitated by service quality of smartphone exercise Apps on continued exercise intention and provide primary data for developing and/or improving smartphone exercise Apps. Methods/Statistical analysis: A questionnaire survey was conducted amongst college students who have experiences in using exercise App(s) and regularly exercise. The questionnaire is composed of four parts asking about service quality, exercise commitment, continued exercise intention, which were measured with a 5-point Likert Scale, and demographics. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were carried out to analyze the obtained data with PASW 18.0.

Background/Objectives: The purpose of this study is to find out the structural relationships among customer delight, exercise commitment, and psychological happiness to contribute developing exercise Apps. Methods/Statistical analysis: A questionnaire survey was conducted and 160 college students who are familiar with mobile exercise applications participated. The data analyzed with frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural correlation analysis. The validity and the reliability were obtained: customer delight (χ2=26.532, df=14, CFI=.985, TLI=.971, RMSEA=.075), exercise commitment (χ2=113.802, df=49, CFI=.956, TLI=.941, RMSEA=.091), and psychological happiness (χ2=15.338, df=8, CFI=.989, TLI=.980, RMSEA=.076, and Cronbach’s α=.906~.938).

Animal lawyers in Australia and around the world often struggle to find room in law to participate in decision-making and give animals a voice. Collaborative governance is a regulatory mechanism that has the potential to overcome this struggle. This ‘new governance’ is of growing importance in environmental and natural resource management, premised on decentralised decision-making and removal of permanent hierarchies. This article will utilise two case studies to outline the benefits of legally integrated collaborative processes for wild animal welfare, including the allocation of a permanent voice in regulation for animal advocates and the ability to promote internalisation of animal-friendly norms.

Research objective. To develop a model of students’ decision-making when individually choosing a sports section. Research methods: The study relies on the analysis of scientific and methodological literature, questionnaires, and factor analysis. The participants in the study were 55 first-year students (2015 enrollment year) of the School of Ukrainian Language and Literature of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. Research results. The analysis of the questionnaires showed diverse motivational choices. The factor analysis revealed the prevailing motifs. The study comes up with a hierarchical model of students’ choice of a training section by a particular sport, and determines the system of subjective values of each student in points. Conclusions. The model developed by the hierarchy analysis allows to take into account all the variants of priorities in the students’ motivational choice. The method of hierarchy analysis allows to objectively process the subjective advantages seen by the students (who do not have any sports experience) when choosing a training section in the opted-for sport. This, in its turn, cultivates a steady motivation for physical education, allows to determine the required number of sports sections, and to distribute the educational and sports facilities at the higher educational university.

We present the results of approbating the Decision Making Tendency Inventory (Misuraca et al., 2015) in the Russian sample (N=423, Mage= 25,01, SD = 9,63). The development of H. Simon’s satisficing theory in the current studies is considered. Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the theoretical three-scale structure of the inventory. We describe the relations between maximizing, minimizing and satisficing scales and personal factors of decision-making, age, and education (its level and difficulty). The study demonstrates that maximizing and satisficing are close tendencies, implemented in case of making important effortful and resource-consuming (e.g., time-consuming) decisions, whereas minimizing is connected to withdrawal from effort and knowledge, avoidant strategies and ambiguity intolerance. The yielded results suggest that satisficing needs to be trained in conditions of high demands for the cognitive sphere such as studying in a higher education institution.


Online grocery retail services are a new trend in Indian urban cities. The two large players namely Grofersand Big Basket attracting customers. The study is an attempt to understand the changing scenario in grocery retail sector. The prime objective of the study is to explore the factors that are attracting customers to choose e retail for Groceries. The data was collected through questionnaire from 100 respondents. Factor analysis (Principle Component Analysis method) was used to explore the influencing factors. These results have shown that mainly customer service, convenience, loyalty rewards, product vailability and payment options are attracting the customers to choose Grophers and Big Basket. These companies have a huge untapped markets and will easily convert the habits of customers in Urban areas.

Research on the stress and loneliness felt by Hairdresser, their work immersion, and their effects on depression is as important as research on customer management and is essential for the efficient management of the beauty industry. Therefore, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis were conducted to find out the relationship between work immersion and depression of beauty workers, and a total of 295 copies were used.The results of the study are as follows.First, as loneliness increases, work immersion decreases. Second, as loneliness increases, depression increases. In order to reduce loneliness, personal time should be secured through free communication and troubleshooting through Sns and beauty communities, rest time, holidays and monthly leave guarantees, and if these improve, work immersion will increase and depression will decrease.It is expected that subsequent research will continue with various variables through age diversification and segmentation of majors in the future.

The Retail Chain Enterprises implement the strategy of channel to sink to set up shops in third and fourth cities. A reasonable and scientific choice of order of priority must be made when the enterprises entering those cities. This article adopts the approach of the Factor Analysis and duster Analysis the analysis 72 cities (including county-level cities) according to purchasing power index, and to explore how Retail Chain Enterprises to make the market of third and fourth their cities in Guangdong province. The conclusion that is the order of decision ——making to enter into the third and fourth tier cities, which has important guiding significance.
