Since 2003, researchers, faculty, graduate and undergraduate students from the State University of Maringá have been working alongside teachers from the state and local schools in the municipality of Porto Rico (Paraná State), located on the banks of the Paraná River. Their objective is to outline actions and strategies with the purpose of building methodological paths to insert environmental education into the school curriculum. Based on the action-research methodology, the group has developed the following programs: a) the Continuing Education Program in Environmental Education; b) the Development of Interdisciplinary Projects; c) the Insertion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs); and d) the Production of Teaching Materials. The evaluations of the programs indicate that teachers have been able to gradually build a theoretical and methodological basis for environmental education while simultaneously growing into the role of teacher-researchers as they create the conditions to investigate their pedagogical practices, reflect upon them, share experiences, innovate, and make the teaching-learning process more significant. Allied to the advances in educational practices and with the aid of ICTs, the activities developed in the classroom, in the field and in the lab - all of which involve natural and cultural aspects of the region - have contributed to teachers' and students' better understanding of the ecological, cultural, social and economic value of the floodplain, and consequently, of the importance of preservation and management in order to maintain local biodiversity.

Electronic government has become a powerful administrative tool for governments around the world (Dawes & Pardo, 2002; Fountain, 2001; UN & ASPA, 2002). Governments at all levels are attempting to improve services and increase their interactions with citizens using information and communication technologies (ICTs). In Mexico, state and local governments are expending large amounts of money to introduce ICTs in operational tasks, as well as in the provision of public services. Many of these governments have created Web pages, which provide information about government agencies and, in some cases, allow transactions. Unfortunately, in Mexico, there is no systematic or rigorous research program that measures and assesses the evolution and impact of e-government. As an initial step of a broader research effort, this study focuses on the functionality of state portals, looking at technical aspects, as well as their potential to improve the quality of the services provided by states. Gant and Gant (2002) state, “A Web portal serves as the integrated gateway into the state government Web site and provides visitors with a single point of contact for online service delivery within the state.” Therefore, these portals contain an interesting mixture of applications and are good examples of current e-government efforts. Accordingly, taking an evolutionary approach, this study provides an initial assessment of e-government at the state level in Mexico. This article is organized into six sections including these introductory comments. In the second section, three approaches to e-government assessment are described briefly. The third section explains our method of analysis. In the fourth section, we present some preliminary results. The fifth section includes some future trends and areas for research. Finally, section six provides some concluding remarks.

The vocation of this article is to discuss the dimensions of the existing secondary school curriculum in the continuing education of the federal government titled "Pacto Nacional pelo Fortalecimento do Ensino Médio- PNEM" for the teachers of the state school system of Rondonia. This training allowed seeing with new eyes the pedagogical practices of teachers with the subject of the last stage of basic education. Therefore, it takes a qualitative approach, and its methodological approach relies on the analysis of the formation of the notebooks used by course participants and the final report prepared by the educational program coordinator in the state of Rondônia. Even though our research still in development, the theoretical basis and data collection phase, we rely on the multiculturalist theory, as in Freire's pedagogy, which raises the critical reading, questioning and intervention in reality. We understand that curriculum policies are hybrid, polyphonic, produced by discourses that circulate in different educational space- time. We understand that the curriculum as a social instrument is built collectively, with the participation of each subject to enforce the quality of education in secondary school territories.

O objetivo deste trabalho é inventariar as espécies de serpentes encontradas na divisa entre os estados de São Paulo e Mato Grosso do Sul, nas proximidades do Rio Paraná, tendo como referência os municípios de Santa Fé do Sul (SP) e Aparecida do Taboado (MS) e incluindo os municípios adjacentes. Com o auxílio da comunidade, corpo de bombeiros e secretaria de saúde, foram coletados dados acerca da ocorrência de serpentes na região. Foram registrados, preliminarmente, um total de 11 gêneros, 12 espécies e 34 espécimes de serpentes distribuídas em quatro famílias (Boidae, Elapidae, Viperidae e Dipsadidae). No Noroeste de São Paulo, foram encontradas 10 espécies, 3 delas apenas encontradas no estado de São Paulo, enquanto que no Mato Grosso do Sul, 9 espécies, 2 delas apenas encontradas no estado de Mato Grosso do Sul. As demais espécies foram encontradas em ambos os estados. Foi registrado que a ocorrência de Boa constrictor é notoriamente maior que a de outras espécies, sendo 60% mais alta que a segunda maior ocorrência a de Erytrolamprus Poecilogyrus. Sendo uma análise comparativa, não há uma grande diferença, do número total de espécies em ambos os estados de um estado para o outro. Em relação à área da saúde, os dados revelam que há maior quantidade de acidentes ofídicos na cidade de Paranaíba no estado de Mato Grosso do Sul.   INVENTORY OF SNAKES: COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS AROUND PARANÁ RIVER BETWEEN THE NORTHWEST OF THE STATE OF SÃO PAULO AND EAST OF THE STATE OF MATO GROSSO DO SUL   ABSTRACT This paper aims to inventory snakes species found in the border of both São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul States, around Paraná River, having as reference the municipalities of Santa Fé do Sul (SP) and Aparecida do Taboado (MS), including bordering municipalities. Data about snake’s incidence in that region was collected with the help of the community, Fire Brigade and Health Secretary. At first, it was reported, a total of 11 genres, 12 species, and 34 specimens of snakes distributed in four families (Boidae, Elapidae, Viperidae and Dipsadidae). In São Paulo northeast 10 species were found, 3 of them were only found in São Paulo, whereas in Mato Grosso do Sul, 19 species, 2 of them were found in Mato Grosso do Sul. All the other species were found in both States. It was recorded that the incidence of Boa constrictor is notoriously higher than the incidence of other species, being 60% higher than the second one for Erytrolamprus Poecilogyrus. It is a comparative analysis, thus there is not a big difference in the total number of species for both States. Regarding health issues, the data presented a higher quantity of ophidian accidents in the city of Paranaíba in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul.   Keywords: Inventory of Snakes. São Paulo-SP. Formulation of the problem. At present, any researches on the methodology of organizing and conducting external independent assessment of academic achievements in mathematics of Ukrainian graduates has become extremely relevant. In particular, this is due to the fact that from 2021 the EIA in mathematics is mandatory in the system of state final attestation. The aim of this work is to determine the advisability and possibility of using information and communication technologies in preparation for the EIA in mathematics. To achieve this goal, we organized a statistical survey of students, the results of which can then be used to create guidelines for professionals in preparation for independent assessment. Materials and methods. To achieve the goals of the article, we use empirical methods: our own survey using an electronic tool (Google form), monitoring the learning process of students, as well as analysis of their achievements results. In the paper we use the set of scientific cognition methods: comparative analysis to clarify different views on the problem; systematization and generalization to formulate conclusions and methodological advices; generalization of the author's pedagogical experience and observations.   Results. According to the survey of Ukrainian graduates, most of them choose a combined approach in preparation for the EIA in mathematics, i.e. use both electronic learning tools and printed textbooks. Most students prefer to prepare for testing with a tutor or on the special offline courses. Independent preparation is mostly inherent for students of classes and schools of physical and mathematical profile. More than 80% of respondents have a positive attitude for using of e-learning tools in preparation for the EIA, and the most popular of them are online test platforms and video tutorials on YouTube. 64% of surveyed students are satisfied with their own level of preparation for the EIA in mathematics, and among the reasons for dissatisfaction are the lack of knowledge and skills acquired at school. However, most respondents believe that preparation for the EIA should be completely provided by the state on a free basis. At the same time, the main way to improve the system of preparation for external examination students consider the need for funding of teachers and test participants. Conclusions. Electronic aids in preparation for the external examination in mathematics are still unpopular. The reason for this may be the low level of technology dissemination in our country. That is why offline courses and tutors are the most typical choice of entrants in preparation for the EIA. The willingness of students to pay tutors shows the current inability of the state to provide students with the necessary level of knowledge in general and for the EIA in particular within the school curriculum. Thus, in Ukraine there is a situation when the "shadow" education system dominates in quality and popularity over the official one. The problem facing the state is how to regulate the shadow sector of educational services in such way that it does not hinders, but helps and contributes to ensuring the proper quality of education.

O eucalipto, planta exótica originária da Austrália, chegou ao Brasil e se adaptou ao clima e ao solo, circunstâncias que auxiliaram seu pleno desenvolvimento. Como consequência, o eucalipto se alastrou em vários estados brasileiros, sua madeira passou a ser industrializada, o que lhe agregou valor econômico. O presente artigo aborda indagações relativas sobre o eucalipto e a educação ambiental critica quanto a cultura dessa espécie, explorando os aspectos da sua utilização e os questionamentos ambientais em relação aos recursos naturais do ecossistema.Na abordagem metodológica investigou-se, por meio de visitas in loco, cinco propriedades de Goioerê, PR, especialmente em um bairro cujo nome fictício é “São Miguel”, visando conhecer como o manejo do eucalipto ocorre nessa região paranaense. Elaborou-se um almanaque digital com o software Scratch e um jogo digital por meio do software motor gráfico Unity, nos quais constam aspectos do eucalipto e da educação ambiental.O jogo digital expõe, práticas direcionadas para a educação ambiental e temas acerca dessa espécime exótica, denotando a percepção e importância das árvores nativas bem como o processo de preservação e conservação, fortalecendo a concepção a respeito do município de Goioerê e o seu ecossistema. Após os resultados advindos com a produção do jogo e almanaque, e estes foram disponibilizados aos professores de Ciências e Biologia para serem utilizados em suas práticas pedagógicas, e para os produtores rurais como informativo. Esperou-se que os saberes ali dispostos transmitam uma percepção crítica relativa à produção do eucalipto, integrando os conceitos relacionados a essa espécie de planta no âmbito das Ciências Ambientais.   Palavras-chave: Eucalyptus. Impactos Ambientais.     Abstract   Eucalyptus, an exotic plant originally from Australia, arrived in Brazil and adapted to the climate and soil, circumstances that helped its full development. As a consequence, eucalyptus spread in several Brazilian states, its wood started to be industrialized, which added economic value. This article addresses questions concerning eucalyptus and critical environmental education regarding the culture of this species, exploring aspects of its use and environmental questions in relation to the natural resources of the ecosystem. loco, five properties in Goioerê, PR, especially in a neighborhood whose fictitious name is “São Miguel”, aiming to understand how the management of eucalyptus occurs in this region of Paraná. A digital almanac was created with the Scratch software and a digital game using the Unity graphics engine software, which contains aspects of eucalyptus and environmental education, denoting the perception and importance of native trees as well as the preservation and conservation process, strengthening the conception regarding the municipality of Goioerê and its ecosystem. After the results resulting from the production of the game and almanac, these were made available to Science and Biology teachers to be used in their pedagogical practices, and to rural producers as information. It was hoped that the knowledge available there will convey a critical perception regarding the production of eucalyptus, integrating the concepts related to this species of plant within the scope of Environmental Sciences.   Keywords: Eucalyptus. Today’s society is technology motivated and the educational institutions call for new pedagogical ideas. An education process over hauling is needed in all aspects of education like curriculum improvement, teaching learning aspect, assessment, evaluation procedures, etc. One of the basic requirements for education in the future is to prepare learners for participation in a network, information society in which knowledge will be the most critical resource for social and economic development. Computer - Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) is one of the most promising innovations to improve teaching and learning with the help of modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Research on collaborative learning and the use of information and communication technologies has been integrated in the research area called Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL). Collaborative technology refers to specific technological support for collaboration built into computer networks. Such collaborative technology in connection with corresponding pedagogical practices is usually called CSCL environment. Collaborative learning is very important in achieving critical thinking. Individuals are able to achieve higher levels of learning and retain more information when they work in group rather than individually. The knowledge of English has become a prime factor for a nation’s development as well as an individual’s development. The present paper highlights the distinction made between the collaborative use of technology and collaborative technology for teaching English to undergraduate students.

Now, the cause of inefficient management in many enterprises of Ukraine is the insufficient use of information technology. Despite the active support of the sector by the state, the problems of studying and speeding up information flows, development and implementation of information and software systems for automation of management, lack of vision of the prospect IT implementation in managers and, as a consequence, reduction of management mobility, etc. are not fully resolved. The effectiveness of managing the settlement territories depends to a great extent on the completeness and reliability of the initial information used in making decisions on its strategic and operational development. The required information is measured by thousands of indicators that characterize the quantitative and qualitative state of the elements of the environment of the settlement and is collected, accumulated and processed by various branch bodies of state and local authorities. Using e-government tools will provide a significant improvement in service quality individuals and legal entities and increasing openness, transparency and efficiency of the activity of state and local self-government bodies. In addition, the introduction of e-government is a basic prerequisite for building an efficient digital economy and digital market in Ukraine. It is the generalization of electronic registers that will make it possible to make an effective management decision. The purpose of the scientific article is to identify the directions, mechanisms for improving the efficiency of management and control, case study and the influence of the information and communication technologies use on the management systems at the state and local levels. Methodology. The study of the subject area, theoretical foundations of information technology in the management of Vinnytsia areas of improvement; identifying tools and methods for implementing information systems in greening management. The subject of the study is the impact of information technology on improving the effectiveness of control and management decisions. Based on the analysis of information and communication technologies in management local authorities and experience of foreign countries in the area of urban improvement, areas of research to improve management and control are identified. Result of the research. It is determined that the use of information technologies in public administration contributes to the formation of an open democratic society, which will guarantee the observance of the constitutional rights of citizens, to participate in public life, to make appropriate decisions by public authorities and local self-government bodies. The use of e-government tools will significantly improve the quality of service for individuals and legal entities and increase the openness, transparency and efficiency of the activity of public authorities and local self-government bodies.
