The fuel and energy complex is the basis for the development of the national economy. Computer simulation of the development processes of the fuel and energy complex is of great theoretical and practical importance as an effective method for studying large and complex systems. The purpose of this study is to develop a methodological approach for conducting energy-economic analysis, identifying factors affecting the energy efficiency of the economy. Research methods are economic and mathematical modeling, system and statistical analysis, balance and indicative methods. The article presents the results of the analysis of the fuel and energy complex of Russia and Mongolia based on a combined fuel and energy balance. The conclusion is made about the need to improve the energy efficiency of the countries’ economies. The use of energy-saving technologies and equipment will reduce the cost of production and consumption of fuel and energy resources, reduce losses at all stages of their life cycle, while the planned indicators of socio-economic development can be achieved with less energy and financial costs, which will positively affect the economy and improve the quality of life of the population.

A study of the energy efficiency of the fuel and energy complex of the regions has a great attention. For an integrated introduction of trends and patterns in the energy sector, approaches we use based on the analysis of the fuel and energy balance (FEB). The function of FEB is to show the availability and use of energy resources in a certain territory and determination of indices of energy efficiency. The article presents an approach to the formation of fuel and energy balances based on the available statistical information.

The article is aimed at determining the opportunities of the regions of Ukraine for self-sufficiency in energy resources, improving energy security and energy efficiency, as well as forming a methodological approach to determining regional ratings by the level of energy efficiency and energy security. The indicators of energy efficiency and energy security, proposed in the article, is advisable to use as a base for a further system of indicators, applied to determine regional ratings of energy efficiency and energy security. The proposed indicators allow to comprehensively assess the level of energy security in the region, are relevant and can be easily calculated using data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. To assess the level of energy efficiency and energy security of the regions of Ukraine, it is advisable to use the author’s own methodology, which also allows to assess the availability and quality of energy resources use. The application of the proposed two-level system of indicators and the method of their calculation allows solving the problem of informing different categories of users about energy efficiency and energy security of the regions in order to determine the need for control influences in conditions of limited information. Based on the results obtained, both the State and regional administration bodies together with local self-government bodies will be able to assess the results achieved, compare them with the achievements of other regions and develop a system of measures to improve the energy efficiency of the regional economy and ensure energy security in the future. Further researches of the author will be aimed at calculating on the basis of the formed methodological approach of the rating of energy efficiency and energy security of the regions of Ukraine, carrying out a comparative analysis of the regions and developing proposals for solving identified problems, based on the rating results obtained.

This research aims to analyze factors affecting the satisfaction of tourists in the use of marine transportation from Bali toward Gili Trawangan. The benefits of this research useful to the company in improving the services for tourists who will use the services of a crosswalk leading to Gili Trawangan. The respondents in this research totalled 190 respondents, the selection of the sample using the method of purposive sampling, the data in this study were analyzed using the analysis factors that help by statistikal program SPSS version 17.0 for windows. The results of this study are: 1) the satisfaction of tourists in the use of sea transport in general are at a level of satisfaction. 2) there are three factors that affect the satisfaction of tourists formed i.e. factors quality of maids, the cost factor & ease factors and product quality. Quality of service factor is the most dominant factor influencing the satisfaction of travellers with variable reliability as the dominant variables, and the variable availability schedule is a variable that must be improved.

Increase in energy efficiency of construction allows reducing costs of technical operation of parks of the equipment and increasing construction energy saving level in general. To achieve these goals, it is offered to apply modern methods of the organization and works, to use the hi-tech construction equipment, and also to form an optimum set of mechanization for construction and installation works. A criterion of optimization is the cost of work. In definition of performance data of the car at the enterprise, its energy efficiency is taken into account, the options are compared, and the optimal set of cars is formed. During the solution of the task, conclusions were formulated, showing that ecological planning and steering together with energy audit on the construction site allow more rational formation of parks of cars, improving ecological component and quality of construction works.

Prior to the start of any Wind Power Park construction project, it is necessary to carefully assess available wind potential in the selected area. The cost of such investigative studies is considerable – even with a relatively small 70 m tall mast it reaches several tens of thousands of Euros. In order to reduce costs related to wind speed measurements it is suggested to use the existing cellular communication masts that are widely spread in Europe. The study presents a methodological approach and the results of wind speed and wind shear measurements performed with the use of lattice cellular communication masts at the height of up to 100 m. A CFD model of airflow around a cellular communication mast structure was created in order to explore the impact of mast structure on the quality of wind speed measurements. The paper presents the results of the CFD modelling in the form of contour maps depicting the severity of airflow disturbances around the mast. The study is based on experimental measurements conducted in 2018 in three coastal sites of Latvia. At each site wind speed and direction were measured at several heights along with air temperature, humidity and air pressure. The experimentally obtained data in combination with the analysis of modelled CFD results shows the possibility of using cellular communication masts for accurate measurements of wind speed. Overall, the study shows that the proposed approach to wind speed measurements can result in high quality data and reduced overall expenses.

Introduction. The problem of energy saving becomes more and more relevant in the conditions of organizational and economic relations transformation in agriculture. It is connected with intensive technologies used in the agriculture, with the cost and availability of different energy types. It affects the cost of production, its environmental friendliness and the achievement of sustainable development goals. Methods. The article talks about theoretical provisions related to the application of agro-technological operations in agriculture, including their economic and environmental components. Monographic, abstract and logical methods, as well as methods of comparison, generalization, and analysis, are used. Results. It is established that agriculture, unlike other branches of the economy, is not only a consumer of energy, but also generates it as a finished product. This uses anthropotechnogenic energy, as well as solar and soil energy. It is emphasized that the issue of achieving positive energy balance in agriculture is relevant today and needs to be solved by reducing energy consumption from non-renewable sources. It is determined that energy saving in agriculture involves the application of legislative, organizational, scientific, productional, technical and economic measures. As a result, the balanced energy consumption, rational energy use, optimization of energy saving management through organizational and economic mechanism and reducing energy consumption should occur. It is proved that the directions of energy saving in the agricultural sphere can be determined by the processes of its circulation and manifest itself in the form of providing access to energy resources, creating competitive conditions in the energy supply market, diversifying energy resources, increasing the efficiency of technical means. Considering the tools of energy saving achievement, it is determined that its main areas are: management, energy, technology, technical and selectional measures. Together their action is aimed at reducing energy consumption of fossil origin and using the solar and soil energy optimally. Discussion. The results of the study serve as a theoretical basis for further research in the energy saving field of agriculture, which can be implemented to substantiate comprehensive actions aimed at reducing energy consumption, as well as to develop an organizational and economical mechanism capable of achieving the highest level of energy saving. Keywords: energy saving, energy efficiency, agriculture, energy balance, directions of energy saving.

Rapidly increasing global energy demand has raised concerns about the exhaustion of energy resources and the consequent heavy environmental impact. Improving energy efficiency in cities comprises an initial measure for addressing these phenomena. Within the current context of globalization, EU initiatives and policy targets have been proposed in order to revise urban development strategies and motivate its member states (MSes) toward “zero-energy objectives”. Providing a methodological approach with a simulation district analysis, the present article summarizes how this challenge was analyzed in an existing district in Belgium. This study contributes to the scientific discussion by analyzing the applicability of a holistic approach to zero-energy objectives on a larger scale.
