Alpha generation requires nutritional education to achieve optimal growth and development. This research aims to provide nutritional education to the alpha generation to achieve optimal growth and development. Method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative literature studies. The authors see a significant correlation between nutrition education and changes in children's behavior in responding to their food dishes. The more nutritional education obtained, the more children will realize the importance of food so that it is more devoured in eating food. References taken by authors are sourced from the author's personal experience as a Nutritionist supported by scientific publications such as reputable national journals, books, websites, and various relevant research sources. The subjects in this study were children aged 0 to 8 years. The results showed that generation alpha is the first generation to hold individuals born in the 21st century who have the characteristics of more believe in social media, prefer to shop online, Rarely make physical contact in communicating, do not like excessive consumption, and repeat the same for pleasure. Wrong nutritional behaviors in elementary school-aged children include not eating a balanced dietary menu, not breakfast, unhealthy snacks, consuming Junk Food and Fast Food, and consuming sugar in excess. Some methods of nutrition education that can be practised in the alpha generation are education in the form of interventions, education using cards, and android-based education.

Nutrition is one of the main problems in the world, where the number of malnourished patients reaches less than 104 million children and one third of all causes of child mortality worldwide are still caused by malnutrition. Nutrition knowledge in school-aged children is one of the factors determining patterns food consumption and nutritional status. Nutrition education in school-aged children can improve children's nutritional knowledge and play a role in food selection and eating habits. Nutrition education should start from an early age. Nutrition and health education began to be directed at kindergarten and elementary school students, since this age group has a habit of attitude that is relatively easy to be formed. This study aims to determine the effect of nutrition education by story’s telling with pirzi doll media to increase knowledge and attitude of children about balanced nutrition. This study used quasi-experimental design with two group pre and post-test design sampling was carried out with a systematic random sampling. Sample of research were children enrolled in Kindergarten IT Rabbani and IT Menara Fitrah in Ogan Ilir District. There were 37 samples on control group dan 39 samples on experimental group. The results of statistical analysis using Mann-Whitney test. The mean score of knowledge after being given a nutritional education was 26.15 ± 3.10 in the experimental group and in the control group was 26.05± 3.16 (p-value=0.817). The mean score of attitudes after being given a nutritional education was 13.69 ± 1.97 in the experimental group and in the control group was 11.24 ± 3.67 (p-value=0.002). There was no difference in mean score of knowledge between the experimental and control groups after being given a nutritional education. There was a difference in mean values of attitudes between the experimental and control groups after being given a nutritional education.

Background: Adequate nutrition is required for growth and development in children. This study tested the effectiveness of nutrition education on knowledge and BMI-for-age (BFA) of school-aged children in the Kumasi Metropolis. Methods: Children, aged 9-13 years old were recruited from ten randomly selected primary schools in the Metropolis. The schools were randomly allocated into 3 groups: nutrition education (3 schools), physical activity (PA) education (3 schools), both interventions (2 schools), or control (2 schools). Following a baseline nutrition and PA knowledge and status assess- ment in 433 children, twice-monthly nutrition and PA education and demonstrations were carried out for 6 months, followed by a post-intervention assessment. Results: PA and nutrition knowledge improved in all groups (P<0.001); the highest improvement was among those who received both interventions (31.0%), followed by the nutrition education group (29.8%), and the least, the control group (19.1%). Overall, BFA improved by +0.36, from baseline (-0.26) to end of the intervention (+0.10, P<0.001). Within the groups, the nutrition group (+0.65, P<.001) had the highest improvement, then, both the intervention group (+0.27, P<0.001), the PA group (+0.23, P<0.001) and lastly, the control group (+0.18, P=0.001). Conclusion: Nutrition education could improve knowledge and BMI-for-age in school-aged children in Ghana. Aetiology of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is complex and probably multifactorial. Nutrition has been proposed to be an important aetiological factor for development of IBD. Several components of the diet (such as sugar, fat, fibre, fruit and vegetable, protein, fast food, preservatives etc.) were examined as possible causative agents for IBD. According to some researchers infant feeding (breast feeding) may also contribute to the development of IBD. Though the importance of environmental factors is evidenced by the increasing incidence in developed countries and in migrant population in recent decades, the aetiology of IBD remained unclear. There are many theories, but as yet no dietary approaches have been proved to reduce the risk of developing IBD. The role of nutrition in the management of IBD is better understood. The prevention and correction of malnutrition, the provision of macro- and micronutrients and vitamins and the promotion of optimal growth and development of children are key points of nutritional therapy. In active disease, the effective support of energy and nutrients is a very important part of the therapy. Natural and artificial nutrition or the combination of two can be choosen for supporting therapy of IBD. The author summarises the aetiological and therapeutic role of nutrition in IBD.

Background  : The main nutritional problem that many teenagers experience is Anemia. The World Health Organization (WHO) predicts about 27% of female adolescents in developing countries suffer from anemia. anemia in adolescents can be caused by several things such as teenagers' knowledge and attitudes to anemia. The provision of nutritional education is expected to increase student knowledge and attitudes about nutrition in anemia, especially for female students.Objective  :  The aims to Knowing effect of Providing Nutrition Education on Knowledge and Attitudes Regarding Anemia in students SMP N 31 Semarang.Method  : This study uses the True Experiment method design with a mixture of pre test post test control group design. The sample consisted of 27 treatment groups and 27 control groups. The data collected were data on knowledge and attitudes regarding anemia nutrition. The data explorer uses a questionnaire that was filled in by the respondent himself. Data analysis using Man Whitney test, Independent T Test and Anova Repeater measure.Result  : There was an effect of providing nutrition education on female students 'knowledge of anemia (p = 0,000) and there was an influence on the provision of nutrition education on female students' attitudes about anemia (p = 0,000).Conclusion  : The provision of nutritional education affects the knowledge and attitudes about anemia in Semarang City 31 Junior High School Students.

 Background: The incessant promotion of fast food make a perception that fast food is a trend among teenager.  Fast food consumption habits that have high calorie but low nutrients will causes nutritional problems in adolescents. Objectives: The purpose of this study aimed to determine effect of nutritional education based on theory of planned behavior to change knowledge, attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, intention, and limited fast food consumption among female students in Sidoarjo. Methods: This study was interventional quasi-experimental research. 32 female students (each 16 female students for interventional group and 16 female students for control group), were selected by simple random sampling. The education was provided based on theory of planned behavior in four sessions. The researcher-made questionnaire based on theory of planned behavior used for data collection.The questionnaire was completed by the students twice, before and three weeks after the implementation of nutritional education. Data were analyze using descriptive statistics, Mann-Whitney, and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks. Result: The results of this study show nutrition education based on theory of planned behavior influence knowledge (p<0.001), attitude (p<0.001), subjective norms (p=0.002), perceived behavioral control (p<0.001),intention (p<0.001), but doesn’t influence limited fast food consumption (p=0.570). Conclusion: Nutritional education based on the theory of planned behavior influence knowledge, attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and intention, but not effect to limited fast food consumption. So, nutrition education designed based on TPB effective to be implementation of health promotion.ABSTRAK Latarbelakang: Gencarnya promosi fast food  menimbulkan persepsi bahwa makanan cepat saji merupakan tren dikalangan remaja. Kebiasaan konsumsi makanan cepat saji yang mempunyai tinggi kalori namun rendah zat gizi menimbulkan masalah gizi lebih dan defisiensi zat gizi mikro pada remaja.Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan gizi berbasis Theory of Planned Behavior terhadap perubahan pengetahuan, sikap, norma subyektif, perceived behavioral control, intensi, dan konsumsi membatasi fast food pada siswi di SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo.  Metode: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode quasy experimental pada 32 siswi (16 siswi kelompok kontrol dan 16 siswi kelompok perlakuan) dipilih menggunakan simple random sampling. Pendidikan gizi berbasis TPB dilakukan selama 4 sesi yiatu sesi sikap, norma subyektif, PBC, dan intensi. Kuesioner penelitian yang digunakan untuk meneliti berbasis TPB. Penilaian dilakukan dua kali, yaitu sebelum dan 3 minggu setelah edukasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif, uji Mann Whitney dan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks.Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa pendidikan gizi berbasis theory of planned behavior mempengaruhi pengetahuan (p<0,001), sikap (p<0,001), norma subyektif (p<0,002),  perceived behavioral control (p<0,001), dan intensi (p<0,001) tetapi tidak mempengaruhi perilaku siswi untuk membatasi fast food (p=0,570).Kesimpulan: Pendidikan gizi berbasis TPB dapat mempengaruhi sikap, norma subyektif, PBC, dan intensi tetapi tidak merubah perilaku membatasi fast food. Dengan demikian maka diperlukan pendidikan gizi yang berkelanjutan agar dapat merubah suatu perilaku pembatasan fast food.

Growth and development in children is greatly influenced by the intake of nutrients in food. During the period of growth and development, the provision of good nutrition is not always carried out perfectly. One of the influencing factors is the level of parental knowledge and children's preference on fast food. If feeding is always not in accordance with the needs of children, it will cause developmental problems in children. One of the efforts made to overcome these problems is a healthy eating program. This research was conducted with the aim to determine the results of nutrition fulfillment in early childhood through a healthy eating program. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Research location in Al-Isyad Al-Islamiyyah Purwokerto Kindergarten. With research subjects include, teachers, Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Purwokerto Kindergarten students, parents, and school principals. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study describe the implementation of the fulfillment of children's nutrition through a healthy eating program implemented at Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Purwokerto Kindergarten, this study also shows good menu variations in accordance with the nutritional needs of early childhood every day in healthy eating programs prepared by nutritionists, so as to improve nutritional status in children.

Motivation/Background: In 2001, non-communicable diseases (NCDs) accounted for 60 percent of 56 million deaths worldwide and 47% of global burden of disease. In all countries, evidence suggested underlying determinants of NCDs were largely same. These include increased consumption of rapidly processed energy-dense nutrient-poor foods high in fat, sugar, salt and reduced levels of physical activity. The objective of this study was to determine prevalence, pattern and determinants of fast foods consumption among school age children in Jos metropolis. Method: In this study, we used descriptive cross-sectional study and included 347 mothers or care givers with children age 6 to 12 years in our sample size. We applied structured interviewer-administered questionnaire during data collection and analyzed the data with SPSS version 21.0. Results: Prevalence of fast food consumption among school age children in Jos metropolis in the last one week is 91.1%. Knowledge of health risk associated with fast food consumption was 86.5%. Flour based fast food were most commonly consumed. We established an association between meal skipping, fast food advertisement and fast food consumption. Conclusions: We recommend the need to focus public enlightenment on health risk associated with fast food consumption among school age children. Likewise, children should be encouraged to carry home-made food to school and legislation on fast food advertisement directed at children should be enacted.

Guidelines for balanced nutrition began to be introduced and socialized more than 15 years ago. Guidelines for balanced nutrition apply to every stage of age including school-aged children. Education of balanced nutrition is still little given to school-aged children. According to some research is still a lot of prevalence of knowledge of balanced nutrition is lacking. In the study conducted Zulaekah (2012) showed that as many as 57.7% of primary school children have a lack of nutrition knowledge. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of nutrition education by using Comic media on knowledge of balanced nutrition. In this research use quasy experimental research design with time series design design. This research is done by using comic print media which contains about 4 messages of balanced nutrition, that is variation of food, the importance of clean life, the importance of active lifestyle and exercise, and the importance of monitoring the weight which is visualized in a tumpeng gizi seimbang (TGS). Statistical analysis of data using t-dependent test. The result of t-dependent test shows that there is an increase of average value of knowledge before and after giving comic 36,36. In this research, balanced comic nutrition media can increase the average knowledge of schoolchild by 34,36 or 72,15%.

In field experiments in the conditions of sod-podzolic sandy loam soils of the Moscow region, protectants were tested. Before planting potatoes, tubers were treated with a new two-component insectofungicide AVG – 0190 (Idikum, SC, iprodion, 133 g/l + Imidacloprid, 100 g/l + diphenoconazole, 6.7 g/l)-1.0 – 1.5 l/t and a mixture of the fungicide Syncler, SC (75 g/l fludioxonyl) and the insecticide Tabu Super, SC (Imidacloprid, 400 g/l and fipronil, 100 g/l)-0.2-0.3 l/t. According to the results of three-year tests, it was found that the etching of potato tubers before planting does not have a negative impact on the germination and biometric indicators of growth and development of potatoes. Their use helped to reduce the development and spread of rhizoctoniosis and provided almost complete protection of potatoes from the first generation of the Colorado beetle – during the mass appearance of older larvae and during the beginning of the departure of larvae for pupation. Biological efficacy against Rhizoctonia amounted to 58.8-66,3%, the Colorado potato beetle – 93,7 95.5 per cent. The use of new potato tuber protectants allowed to increase the gross yield by 6.2-7.1 t / ha or 30.9-35.3% compared to the control. Treatment of seed tubers with protectants helped to obtain a crop free from rhizoctoniosis and increase the yield of standard healthy potatoes by 57.7
