 RÉSUMÉ. Le développement des compétences communicatives interculturelles en milieu professionnel multiculturel ne fait pas souvent objet de recherches scientifiques en milieu francophone. Pourtant, sur le terrain marocain l’on évoque bien souvent des différences linguistiques et non culturelles, de plurilinguisme et non pas de pluriculturalisme (Bel Lakhdar, 2008). Afin de mettre en lumière ce constat, cette contribution expose des données issues d’une recherche quantitative moyennant un questionnaire à l’adresse des cadres en mobilité internationale au Maroc. L’analyse du corpus, par le biais du test du khi-deux et des matrices de corrélation que propose le logiciel SPSS, montre que l’enseignement-apprentissage des compétences communicatives interculturelles n’est pas souvent reconnu comme un facteur déterminant dans le succès des interactions exolingues en milieu professionnel. Ceci implique l’urgence de relancer le débat sur la place de telles compétences dans l’enseignement des langues et des cultures et, également, dans les formations interculturelles continues dispensées au sein des entreprises. Mots-clés : communication interculturelle, compétences communicatives interculturelles, milieu professionel multiculturel, enseignement-apprentissage des langues et cultures.ABSTRACT. The development of intercultural communicative skills in a multicultural work environment is not often the subject of scientific research in a Francophone environment. However, in the Moroccan field, we often talk about linguistic and not cultural differences, plurilingualism and not pluriculturalism (Lakhdar, 2013). In order to highlight this observation, the contribution presents data from a quantitative research through a questionnaire addressed to managers in international mobility in Morocco. Corpus analysis, using the chi-deux test and correlation matrices offered by the SPSS software, shows that teaching-learning of intercultural communicative skills is not often recognized as a determining factor in success exolingual interactions in the workplace. This implies the urgency of relaunching the debate on the place of such skills in the teaching of languages and cultures and, also, in the continuous cross-cultural training provided within companies. Keywords: intercultural communication, intercultural communicative skills, multicultural professional environment, teaching-learning of languages and cultures.

This study empirically examines individual and organizational factors that influence expatriates’ cross-cultural adjustment and job performance. The study was a quantitative research from 117 Thai expatriates who work in Thai multinational companies (MNC) located in Indonesia. The results of the study indicated that financial perceived organizational support influence positively towards Thai expatriates’ overall cross-cultural adjustment in Indonesia. This study found that cross-cultural training influenced positively towards Thai expatriates’ adjustment. A causal relationship between the predicting variables of cross-cultural adjustment and Thai expatriates’ job performance was not found. Results suggest important consequences for management strategies providing support to Thai expatriate employees increasing their adjustment in Indonesia.

El trabajo parte de las necesidades existentes en la asignatura Gramática Española, relacionadas con el modo de actuación que implica contribuir a la competencia comunicativa, para ello, se requiere dar tratamiento a las cuatro macro habilidades lingüísticas: escuchar, hablar, leer y escribir, por consiguiente, establecer relaciones intradisciplinarias con los diversos componentes de la asignatura, a partir del uso adecuado de la lengua en diferentes contextos comunicativos y favorecer su empleo en la diversidad textual, así como establecer relaciones intertextuales que se sustentan en el conocimiento profundo de las estructuras de la lengua y su funcionamiento en el discurso. Sin embargo, en la práctica diaria, lo cierto es que, generalmente, el tratamiento a los contenidos objeto de estudio, resulta insuficiente para el enriquecimiento de estas habilidades comunicativas, es decir, existen irregularidades en el enfoque de los contenidos gramaticales a partir de la funcionalidad textual que estos adquieren. Cabe entonces preguntarse ¿Cómo enfocar el proceso de enseñanza- aprendizaje  de  esta  asignatura  para  que  contribuya  a  formar  comunicadores eficientes? Es obvio que se hace necesaria una clase de gramática que se ocupe tanto del estudio de la forma de las estructuras lingüísticas, como de su significación y empleo para la comprensión y construcción de textos en la diversidad del proceso comunicativo. En consecuencia, el trabajo se plantea como objetivo: ofrecer un ejemplo para el tratamiento al modo de actuación de los contenidos gramaticales en una clase práctica a partir del enfoque cognitivo, comunicativo y sociocultural. ABSTRACT This work emerges from the existing needs of the subject Spanish Gram, related to the teacher’s performance, which implies a contribution to communicative competence. That  requires  offering  a  treatment  to  the four  linguistic  macro-skills:  listening, speaking, reading and writing. Therefore, establishing interdisciplinary relations with different components of the subject, based on the adequate use of the language in different communicative contexts, favoring its use textual diversity, as well as establishing intertextual relations based on a deep mastery of the language and the way it works in discourse. However, in daily practice, the truth is that, generally, the treatment to the contents to be studied is still insufficient for enriching these communicative skills, that is, there are still irregularities in approaching grammatical contents based on the textual functionality they acquire. Then we may wonder ¿How to approach the teaching-learning of this subject for contributing to educating efficient communicators? It is obvious that we require a grammar lesson that pays attention to the study of the form of linguistic structures, as well as their significance and use for the comprehension and building of texts from the diversity of the communicative process. Consequently, this work proposes as its objective: to offer an example for treating  the  teacher’s  performance  in  relation  to  the  grammatical  contents  in  a practical lesson based on the cognitive, communicative and sociocultural approach. A systematic literature review (SLR) from 1991 to 2019 is carried out about EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) excellence model in this paper. The aim of the paper is to present state of the art in quantitative research on the EFQM excellence model that will guide future research lines in this field. The articles were searched with the help of six strings and these six strings were executed in three popular databases i.e. Scopus, Web of Science, and Science Direct. Around 584 peer-reviewed articles examined, which are directly linked with the subject of quantitative research on the EFQM excellence model. About 108 papers were chosen finally, then the purpose, data collection, conclusion, contributions, and type of quantitative of the selected papers are discussed and analyzed briefly in this study. Thus, this study identifies the focus areas of the researchers and knowledge gaps in empirical quantitative literature on the EFQM excellence model. This article also presents the lines of future research.

This study aims to determine the effect of product design and price on consumer interest in buying Jepara Teak furniture at the New Furniture Business Shop in Lubuk Alung. This type of research is associative quantitative research, the number of research samples were 100 people. Data was collected in the form of questionnaires and using analyzed SPSS software ver.21.0 for Windows. The conclusions from this study is the product design variable (X1) has a significant positive effect on purchase decision in Jati Jepara furniture at the New Furniture Business Shop in Lubuk Alung, as evidenced by t value > t table (10,400> 1,660) and a significant influence between price variables ( X2) purchase decision with t value> t table (2,015> 1,660). There is a positive and significant influence between product design (X1) price (X2), on purchase decision of Jati Jepara furniture consumers with an F-value 156,644> F- table (3,09) means that it affects together. The coefficient of determination (R²) results obtained a coefficient of 0.764 or 76.4%, while 23.6% is influenced by other variables.Keywords: Product design; prices; purchase decision.

This study attempted to improve the students’ reading comprehension achievement in descriptive text through Team Games Tournament (TGT) method. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of the research was class IX SMP PAB 10 Medan Estate which consisted of 25 students. The research was conducted in two cycles and the first cycle consisted of four meetings the second cycle consisted of two meetings. The instruments for collecting the data were quantitative data (reading evaluation) and qualitative data (diary note, observation sheet and interview sheet). Based on reading scores, students’ score kept improving in every evaluation. In the test I the mean was 65,33, in the test II the mean was 71,72 and the test III the mean was 84,54.Based on diary note, observation sheet and interview sheet, it was found that teaching-learning process ran well. Students were active, enthusiastic, and interested in reading. The result of the research showed that Team Games Tournament (TGT) method significantly improved students’ achievement in reading comprehension especially in reading descriptive text.

This study was attempted to improve students’ achievement in writing narrativetext by watching movies. This study was conducted by using classroom action researchin two cycles. Cycle I consisted of four meetings while Cycle II consisted of twomeetings. The subject of the research was class VIII-A SMP SWASTA IMMANUELMEDAN. The number of the students was 34. To collect the data, the instruments werequantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data was the scores of the studentsand the qualitative data was interview sheets, observation sheets, and diary notes. Basedon the writing score, students’ score were improving in every test. It can be seen inOrientation test, Test I in Cycle I, and Test II in Cycle II. In Orientation test, the meanscore was 37.94 then it was improved to 65.85 in Test I. In the end of cycle II, the meanscore for test II was again improved to 83.41. Based on interview sheets, observationsheets and diary notes, it was found that teaching-learning process ran well. In line withthe data, it showed that the application of watching movies significantly improvedstudent’s achievement in writing narrative text. English teachers were suggested to givemovies to be watched as guidance on students’ narrative writing in the class.

This study attempts to Improving Students’ Achievement Through the Process GenreApproach. The objective of the study is to discover whether the use of the ProcessGenre approach could significantly improve students’ writing achievement. This studyconduct by applying Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles inten meetings. The subject of this study of SMA Panca Budi Medan which consisted of39 students of class X – 2 reguler.. Orientation test was done in the first meeting, test IIwas done in the fourth meeting, and test III was done in the last meeting. The mean ofstudents’ score test III (76,242) was higher than the test II (66,878) and test I (57,606).Besides, the qualitative data was taken from observation sheet, interview, questionnaire,and diary notes. It was found that teaching learning process ran well. By applying theProcess Genre Approach in the classroom, the students understood the content ofdescriptive text easily. They also were active and enthusiastic during the teachinglearning process. The result of the research showed that the application of the ProcessGenre approach significantly improved students’ achievement in writing descriptive text

This study deals with the way to improve students’ achievement in speaking particularly through Two Stay Two Stray Strategy. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of of the research was class X-AP SMK Swasta Harapan Danau Sijabut in Asahan Regency that consisted of 34 students. The research was conducted in two cycles consisted of three meetings in each cycle. The instruments of collecting data for quantitative data used Speaking Test and instrument for analysis of qualitative data used observation, interview and questionnaire sheet. Based on the speaking test score, students’ score kept improving in every test. In the test I the mean was 61,47, in the test II the mean was 67,41 and the test III the mean was 78,52. Based on observation sheet and questionnaire sheet, it was found that teaching learning process run well and lively. Students were active and interest in speaking. The using of Two Stay Two Stray Strategy is significantly improved students’ achievement in speaking.

This study attempts to increase students’ vocabulary achievement by using flash cards. The objective of the study is to investigate whether the using of flash card can improve students’ vocabulary achievement. This study conduct by applying Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles in six meetings. The subject of this study of SD Negeri 174559 Siraituruk, Porsea which consisted of 34 students. For collecting data, the instruments used were quantitative (vocabulary test) and qualitative data (interview sheet, observation sheet, and diary notes. Based on the data, it was found that the mean of the second cycle (80, 44) is higher than the mean of first cycle (64, 85) and pre-test (44, 41).  Based on interview sheet, observation sheet and diary notes, it was found thee students were more active and more enthusiastic during the teaching learning process in the second cycle than the first one. It was concluded that teaching vocabulary by using  flash cards can improve the students’ vocabulary achievement.
