This study aims to determine the effect of corporate social responsibility, intellectual capital, managerial ownership, and firm size on the financial performance of companies. Object of research is the consumer goods sub-sectors of manufacturing company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in the year 2010 to 2013. Samples used in this study were 29 companies and the techniques used are saturated samples. The method used is quantitative. The data source used in this research is secondary data in the form of annual reports obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).  Results of this study indicate that CSR, managerial ownership and firm size has no effect on financial performance, while the effect of intellectual capital on financial performance.

The main aim of this study is to investigate the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on the financial performance of selected companies listed in the BSE, formerly known as the Bombay Stock Exchange in India. This study is purely based upon the secondary data collected from companies’ annual reports and sustainability reports for last three years ranging from 2016–2017 to 2018–2019. The results indicate that the involvement in socially responsible initiatives has a significantly positive effect on the financial performance of the firms. These findings provide insights to the management to assimilate firm’s CSR initiatives with its strategic business policies and, thus, to renovate the business philosophy from a traditional profit-oriented approach to a socially responsible approach.

This research aims to know and analyze the effect of social responsibility and intellectual capital both simultaneously and partially to company’s financial performance at state-owned enterprise (BUMN) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The type of research is quantitative and with the using secondary data. The total sample is nine companies which the research period is 2011-2015. Results show that simultaneously corporate social responsibility and intellectual capital influence the finance performance. Corporate social responsibility do not have effect while intellectual capital influence the financial performance partially.

Purpose of the Study: This study aims to analyze the effect of independent variables such as corporate social responsibility, leverage, and intellectual capital on dependent variables such as financial performance in banking sector companies indexed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. Methodology: This review is adopted the descriptive statistics approach. While the hypothesis test using multiple linear regression analysis and simultaneous significance analysis. Secondary data collected through the purposive sampling method consisted of 85 samples from 17 companies. Main Findings: The results indicate that CSR has a positive effect on FP. While LEV and IC have no effect on FP. Debt withdrawal will not have an impact on the company's sustainability in increasing profits. In addition, the company also has a concern for the disclosure of CSR activities through the GRI, which can increase the company's profit. Implication/Applications: The results of this study can be used for financial practitioners, especially in the banking industry, to determine the effect of corporate social responsibility, leverage, and intellectual capital on financial performance. Therefore, banking companies can make decisions based on the priority scale on the most influential variables. In addition, this research can also be a reference for academics and researchers who are interested in the issue of financial performance. The originality of the study: The results of this study are the latest studies that systematically and comprehensively discuss the financial performance of the banking sector based on several important factors.

This study aims to determine whether the financial performance measured by using CAR, ROA, LDR, BOPO, and CSR can affect the value of banking companies as measured by using PBV. This study uses secondary data taken from the annual report of banking companies during the year 2012-2016 listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The number of samples of this study as many as 25 banking companies with a total of 125 data. This research method is quantitative research. The results of this study indicate the effect of CAR, ROA, LDR, BOPO, and CSR variables on firm value measured by using PBV in a banking company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Do Good Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility Influence Profitability of LQ45 Listed Companies. This study aims to examine the influence of good corporate governance and corporate social responsibility on profitability of LQ45 listed companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analyzed were secondary data in the form of annual reports and sustainability report. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this research indicate: (1) Good corporate governance (GCG) has a significant effect on profitability of LQ45 listed companies; (2) Corporate social responsibility (CSR) does not have a significant effect on profitability of LQ45 listed companies. This research provides empirical evidence that implementation of GCG could influence profitability, while the implementation of CSR does not influence profitability. The aim of this research is to know the influence of corporate social responsibility and intellectual capital on financial performance. Theories used are stakeholder, legitimacy, and resource-based theory. This research conducted on trading companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The samples taken were 26 companies, by non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. Data collected through non-participant observation. The analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumptions, and multiple linear analysis. Based on the analysis found that corporate social responsibility has no effect on financial performance. This indicates that the high and low disclosure of CSR will not affect the financial performance of the trade sector. The second hypothesis states that intellectual capital has a positive effect on financial performance. This indicates that the higher the intellectual capital, the higher the financial performance of the company. Combination of intellectual capital can enhance competitive advantage for companies. ABSTRACT   This research aims to examine the financial performance viewed from corporate social responsibility in manufacturing companies enlisted in Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2017. The population of research consisted of manufacturing companies enlisted in Indonesian Stock Exchange. The sample employed was manufacturing companies enlisted in Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2017. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling one. Data analysis was conducted using a multiple linear regression. The result of research showed that media exposure and firm size affect positively and significantly the disclosure of corporate social responsibility. Meanwhile, leverage and profitability affect positively but insignificantly the disclosure of corporate social responsibility in manufacturing companies. The result of adjusted R2 test in this research showed value of 0.297. It means that the disclosure of corporate social responsibility is affected by media exposure variable, firm size, leverage and profitability by 29.7%, while the rest of 79.3% was affected by other factors excluded from this study.   Keywords: financial performance, corporate social responsibility

The purpose of th is study was to test empirically the influence of Intellectual Capital and Corporate Sociall Responsibility Disclosure to the performance of companies in Indonesia. Intellectual capital is measured using Pulic method (VAIC) and Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure measured by using CSDI (CSR Index). Company performance is proxied with company profitability that is measured by Return on Assets. Data used in this study is secondary data, consist of annual reports, financial reports, and sustainability reports. The sample used in this study was chosen by using purposive sampling method with the aim to get the sample according to the criteria. The sample in this study amounted to 76, which consisted of 19 manufacturing companies of the basic and chemiccal industry sectors during the period 2013 to 2016. The results showed that intellectual capital and corporate social responsibility disclosure positively affect the financial performance of the company

One of the factors of corporate governance that influence the implementation of CSR is the ownership structure. The emergence of corporate ownership structures results from a comparison of the number of shareholders in the company. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and foreign ownership on disclosure of corporate social responsibility (CSR). This research was conducted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013-2017. The sample of this research was 40 Infrastructure, Utilities and Transportation companies using purposive random sampling, where samples were taken based on certain criteria. Data collection of this study uses secondary data. The analysis technique used is the Analysis of Multiple Linear Regression. The results of this study indicate that institutional ownership and managerial ownership have a positive effect on CSR, while foreign ownership has no significant negative effect on disclosure of CSR. This study aims to find empirical evidence regarding the relationship between institutional ownership and company value which is moderated by corporate social responsibility (CSR). The population in this study were 48 property and real estate companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2015-2017, with the number of samples used was 35 companies. The data used is secondary data in the form of annual reports obtained from the IDX website (www.idx.co.id). The testing in this study was conducted with moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results show that institutional ownership has no effect on corporate value and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has not been able to moderate the moderation between institutional ownership and firm value.
