The study investigates features of complex sound's pitch and tempo perception depending on instructional set presence via the Likert scale and WAM test (wellbeing, activity, mood). Influence of objective complex sound characteristics (pitch and tempo) on a subjective evaluation of a music fragment, as well as the influence of instructional set (prior informing of a participant about objective differences between music fragments) on a subjective evaluation of a music fragment, were explored. The study looks at how people of different genders, whether they know how to play an instrument or have had musical education, perceive music. It was discovered that high pitch music was embraced as more fun, bright, light, and indecisive. Music with a higher tempo was also perceived as carefree, which is subjectively evaluated as less heavy and more fun. People with musical education background notice more differences between fragments with various pitches and tempos, specifically, they are capable of differentiating pitch and tempo changes better. In general, the study has shown that it is possible to manipulate objective characteristics of a complex sound in order to create widely acceptable subjective and psychological interpretation.

Abstract. This research has purpose to know how The Public Participation, Political Budgeting, and The Priority and Plafond of Budget (PPA) influence on Preparation of Region Budget Expenditure.The population of this research were all working units (SKPD) which form departments, agencies, offices, parts and districts, its about 51 samples was obtained by saturation sampling method. Collected data with disseminated of questionare which is using likert scale. For test the hyphothesis used multiple regression. The final results of this research are : first, the public participation is influence positive to preparation of region budget expenditure at Batam City. Second, Political Budgeting is influence negative to preparation of region budget expenditure at Batam City. Third, priority and plafond of budget is influence positive to preparation of region budget expenditure at Batam City. And fourth, simultaneously public participation, budget politics and priority plafond of budget are influence about 87,40% to the preparation of region budget expenditure, while the rest 12,60% influenced by another factor outside of the three variables.Keywords: society participation; politics of budgeting; budget ceiling priority (ppa); regional budget;Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari Partisipasi Masyarakat, Politik Penganggaran dan Prioritas Plafon Anggaran (PPA) terhadap Penyusunan Anggaran Belanja Daerah di Kota Batam. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Satuan Perangkat Kerja Daerah (SKPD) di Kota Batam yang berbentuk dinas, badan, bagian, kantor dan kecamatan yaitu sebanyak 51 sampel yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert. Untuk pengujian hipotesis digunakan analisis regresi berganda.  Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah : pertama, partisipasi masyarakat berpengaruh positif terhadap penyusunan anggaran belanja daerah di Kota Batam. Kedua, politik penganggaran berpengaruh negatif terhadap penyusunan anggaran belanja daerah Kota Batam. Ketiga, prioritas plafon anggaran berpengaruh positif terhadap penyusunan anggaran belanja daerah Kota Batam. Dan keempat secara simultan partisipasi masyarakat, politik penganggaran dan prioritas plafon anggaran memberikan pengaruh sebesar 87,40% terhadap penyusunan anggaran belanja daerah Kota Batam, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 12,60% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar ketiga variabel tersebut.Kata Kunci: public participations; budget politics; priority plafond of budget; preparation of region budget expenditure.

The main reasons of this observations is to know how much satisfied beef goat farmers can got about combined farmer groups agricultural aspect that their settle on to fulfil their needed. This observations did on Ponggok Sub-District. Selecting the responden using surfeited sampling. Analysis method using method called IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) cartesius diagram and scoring system using likert scale method, and using index calculating or interval scoring from likert method to put final category in the end of analysis The answer from satisfied agricultural aspect analysis using likert method and IPA method cartesius diagram is. Using index calculating Ponggok Sub-District got 379 Point which means got standart high category. IPA method Ponggok Sub-District got 1 variable to work with that is affiliations mediators in farming service with outside group authority and 6 other variable can be increased or just stay still. The conclusions from the observations is, Ponggok Sub-District got standart high category and needed to increasing the affiliations in farming service with outside group authority variables

Mengenal dan memahami gaya komunikasi sangat penting bagi seorang individu untuk mengembangkan keterampilan diri yang optimal. Dengan mengetahui dan memahami gaya komunikasi, seseorang dapat mengetahui kemampuan dan bakat mereka. Mereka akan tahu bagaimana meningkatkan hubungan interpersonal dalam berkomunikasi dalam organisasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis (a) Apa gaya komunikasi dominan yang digunakan berdasarkan level manajer, level supervisor dan level staf di PT XYZ? (B) Bagaimana meningkatkan hubungan interpersonal pada masing-masing Gaya Komunikasi? Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden. Alat pengukur dalam bentuk kuesioner adalah skala likert. Sampel yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan Ho di PT XYZ. Gaya Komunikasi ditentukan oleh seberapa sering kita menggunakan dua elemen penting seperti umpan balik dan pengungkapan. Dalam penelitian ini akan dibahas 4 gaya yang biasanya digunakan dalam komunikasi, yaitu gaya tertutup, gaya buta, gaya tersembunyi dan gaya terbuka. Dari empat gaya komunikasi yang dibahas di atas, tidak ada gaya komunikasi yang baik atau buruk karena masing-masing memiliki sisi positif dan negatif. Know and understand communication style is very important for an individual to develop their optimum self-skills. With knowing and understanding the communication style, someone could know their ability and talents. They will know how to improve interpersonal relationships in communicating in the organization. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze (a) What is the dominant communication style used based on manager level, supervisor level and staff level at PT XYZ? (b) How to improve interpersonal relationships on each Communication Style ? The method used in this research is by spreading questionnaire to the respondents. Instrument gauges in questionnaire form is likert scale. Sample involves for this research are the Ho employees in PT XYZ. Communication Style specified by how often we use two important element such as feedback and disclosure. In this research will discuss 4 styles usually used in communication, that is closed style, blind style, hidden style and open style. Of the four communication styles discussed above, there is no good or bad communication style because each have the positive and negative side.

The advent of the environmental SEM (ESEM) has made possible the examination of uncoated and untreated specimen surfaces in the presence of a gaseous or liquid environment. However, the question arises as to what degree the examined surface remains unaffected by the action of the electron beam. It is reasonable to assume that the beam invariably affects all specimens but the type and degree of effect may be totally unimportant for one class of applications and totally unacceptable for another; yet, for a third class, it is imperative to know how our observations are modified by the presence of the beam. The aim of this report is to create an awareness of the need to initiate research work in various fields in order to determine the guiding rules of the limitations (or even advantages) due to irradiation.

For the calculation of X-ray intensities emitted by elements present in multi-layer systems it is vital to have an accurate knowledge of the x-ray ionization vs. mass-depth (ϕ(ρz)) curves as a function of accelerating voltage and atomic number of films and substrate. Once this knowledge is available the way is open to the analysis of thin films in which both the thicknesses as well as the compositions can usually be determined simultaneously.Our bulk matrix correction “PROZA” with its proven excellent performance for a wide variety of applications (e.g., ultra-light element analysis, extremes in accelerating voltage) has been used as the basis for the development of the software package discussed here. The PROZA program is based on our own modifications of the surface-centred Gaussian ϕ(ρz) model, originally introduced by Packwood and Brown. For its extension towards thin film applications it is required to know how the 4 Gaussian parameters α, β, γ and ϕ(o) for each element in each of the films are affected by the film thickness and the presence of other layers and the substrate.

The purpose of this article is to update the management of the treatment of the female voice at perimenopause and menopause. Voice and hormones—these are 2 words that clash, meet, and harmonize. If we are to solve this inquiry, we shall inevitably have to understand the hormones, their impact, and the scars of time. The endocrine effects on laryngeal structures are numerous: The actions of estrogens and progesterone produce modification of glandular secretions. Low dose of androgens are secreted principally by the adrenal cortex, but they are also secreted by the ovaries. Their effect may increase the low pitch and decease the high pitch of the voice at menopause due to important diminution of estrogens and the privation of progesterone. The menopausal voice syndrome presents clinical signs, which we will describe. I consider menopausal patients to fit into 2 broad types: the “Modigliani” types, rather thin and slender with little adipose tissue, and the “Rubens” types, with a rounded figure with more fat cells. Androgen derivatives are transformed to estrogens in fat cells. Hormonal replacement therapy should be carefully considered in the context of premenopausal symptom severity as alternative medicine. Hippocrates: “Your diet is your first medicine.”
