A Multi-Scale Numerical Model for Investigation of Flame Dynamics in a Thermal Flow Reversal Reactor

In this paper, the flame dynamics in a thermal flow reversal reactor are studied using a multi-scale model. The challenges of the multi-scale models lie in the data exchanges between different scale models and the capture of the flame movement of the filtered combustion by the pore-scale model. Through the multi-scale method, the computational region of the porous media is divided into the inlet preheating zone, reaction zone, and outlet exhaust zone. The three models corresponding to the three zones are calculated by volume average method, pore-scale method, and volume average method respectively. Temperature distribution is used as data for real-time exchange. The results show that the multi-scale model can save computation time when compared with the pore-scale model. Compared with the volumetric average model, the multi-scale model can capture the flame front and predict the flame propagation more accurately. The flame propagation velocity increases and the flame thickness decreases with the increase of inlet flow rates and mixture concentration. In addition, the peak value of the initial temperature field and the width of the high-temperature zone also affect the flame propagation velocity and flame thickness.

Analysis of Policy, Supervision and Control Functions Through the Level of Efficiency, Effectiveness and Activity of the Village Budget (Case Study in Dawuan Tengah Village, Karawang for the Period 2017-2019)

The purpose of this research is to determine the function of policy, supervision and control through the ratio of effectiveness level, efficiency level and activity level of Village Budget in Dawuan Tengah Village. The Village Budget Report was obtained from the Secretary of Dawuan Tengah Village. This research uses quantitative and qualitative approaches. Processing the data analysis is done by means of the likert scale method and quantitative method by calculating the ratio of effectiveness level, efficiency level and activity level. Overall, it can be concluded that during a period of 3 years (2017-2019) the results and achievements of the village budget management have been very effective, very efficient and very maximal. The performance of the village government in allocating village fund budget is excellent. Village funds are able to make a better changes for Dawuan Tengah Village. The implementation of policy, supervision and control of the village budget is quite effective and efficient and all activities run very optimally so that there is no potential for fraud.

Pengaruh Iklan Cash Card Terhadap Minat Mahasiswa Febi UIN Sumatera Utara

This research is motivated by increasingly rapid technologicaldevelopments, especially in the economic field, namely the paymentsystem. The card acts as a non-cash payment instrument and makesit easier for the public to make transactions or transfers betweenindividuals. This shows that people have switched from cashpayments to non-cash payments which will have an impact on thecurrent formula for money supply. Stability of money demand inpotential member states is imperative for the feasible commonmonetary policy. This study aims to determine the level of influenceof cash card advertising (atm card) on the interest of Islamiceconomics students at UIN North Sumatra and to determine whetheror not there is an effect of cash card advertising on the interests ofstudents of Febi UIN North Sumatra. The research method used is aquantitative method. Collecting data distributing respondentsIslamic economics S1 Stambuk 2019.. Research data collection usesthe questionnaire method with the Likert scale method and is givento 100 respondents. In this study, the data analysis techniques usedwere descriptive analysis and uji t using SPSS 15.0. The results ofthis study indicate that the effect of cash card advertising on theinterest of Islamic economics students at FEBI UIN North Sumatrais 15.49%. After passing several tests, it can be concluded that theeffect of cash card advertising is significant or there is a positiveinfluence on student interest

Study on hysteretic behavior of concrete CFRP specimen

In order to study the hysteretic behavior of concrete CFRP specimen under different influence factors, 12 specimens were designed. By consulting related literature, the research progress and main results of concrete-wrapped CFRP at home and abroad in recent years are summarized, and the accurate solution calculated by the multi-scale method and the error of the experimental value are verified by MATLAB. The non-linear vibration generated by the hysteretic performance under the action of wind excitation is introduced, which provides a certain reference for the later research.

The Use of the Usability Scale System as an Evaluation of the Kampung Heritage Kajoetangan Guide Ebook Application

The development of information technology these days allows tourists to get information about tourist destinations very easily. One of the ways to get information about tourist destinations is from a guidebook. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the Kampung Heritage Kajoetangan's e-book application using the System Usability Scale method. The data was collected using a questionnaire. The respondents of this study are 40 people. The results show that the respondents considered the Kajoetangan travel guide e-book is already good and acceptable. However, looking at the NPS, the respondents tend to behave as promoters. Therefore, it is necessary to provide education and introduction of the application to the users (e.g. tour guides and the public). Thus, the problem of the lack of experience in trying the Kajoetangan travel guide e-book can be solved. In addition, developers, in this case, the researchers, must also improve the application, particularly regarding the complexity of the application so the public and tour guides, as the target users, can easily use it.

PELATIHAN APLIKASI CANVA DALAM MENDUKUNG PELAJARAN JARAK JAUH BAGI GURU SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 7 JAKARTA

ABSTRAKPandemi covid-19 sekarang ini sangat berdampak besar disegala aspek kehidupan, tidak terkecuali bidang pendidikan, pelajaran secara keseluruhan dengan cara tatap muka dikehidupan normal, dituntut merubah metode pembelajaran, yaitu pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ), perubahan ini menuntut pengajaran (guru) untuk mempu menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengajaran yang lebih menarik dan dinamis. SMK 7 Muhammadiyah Jakarta membutuhkan metode pembelajaran tersebut, oleh karena itu tim pengabdian masyarakat dari fakultas teknik uhamka mengadakan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi canva desaign grafis untuk mendesai beberapa hal secara mudah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu pelatihan pengunaan aplikasi canva berbagai materi pembelajaran dengan visualisasi yang mewakili isi pembelajaran itu sendiri, serta dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam berkreasi. Hasil pelatihan diadakan selama dua hari, metode praktik dengan media daring, kemudian kuesioner bermetode skala likert dilakukan untuk didapatkan timbal balik atau tanggapan mengenai pelatihan ini, dan ternyata didapatkan bahwa pengetahuan bertambah dengan adanya kegiatan ini sebesar 78,57% dengan total kepuasaan secara keseluruhan 85,71%. SMK 7 Muhammadiyah Jakarta requires this learning method, therefore the community service team from the Uhamka Faculty of Engineering held training on using the Canva Graphic Design application to design several things easily. The purpose of this service is to train the use of the Canva application for various learning materials with visualizations that represent the content of the learning itself, and to improve teacher skills in being creative. The results of the training were held for two days, the practical method with online media, then a questionnaire using the Likert scale method was carried out to obtain feedback or responses about this training, and it was found that knowledge increased by this activity by 78.57% with a total overall satisfaction of 85 ,71%.
