The globalization era brings rapid development in technology. The human need for speed and easiness pushed them toinnovate, such as in the security field. Initially, the securitysystem was conducted manually and impractical compared tonowadays system. A security technology that is developed wasbiometric application, particularly fingerprint. Fingerprintbasedsecurity became a reliable enough system because of itsaccuracy level, safe, secure, and comfortable to be used ashousing security system identification. This research aimed todevelop a security system based on fingerprint biometric takenfrom previous researches by optimizing and upgrading theprevious weaknesses. This security system could be a solutionto a robbery that used Arduino UNO Atmega328P CH340 R3Board Micro USB port. The inputs were fingerprint sensor, 4x5keypad, and magnetic sensor, whereas the outputs were 12 Vsolenoid, 16x2 LCD, GSM SIM800L module, LED, andbuzzer. The advantage of this security system was its ability togive a danger sign in the form of noise when the systemdetected the wrong fingerprint or when it detects a forcedopening. The system would call the homeowner then. Otherthan that, this system notified the homeowner of all of theactivities through SMS so that it can be used as a long-distanceobservation. This system was completed with a push button toopen the door from the inside. The maximum fingerprints thatcould be stored were four users and one admin. The admin’sjob was to add/delete fingerprints, replace the home owner’sphone number, and change the system’s PIN. The resultsshowed that the fingerprint sensor read the prints in a relativelyfast time of 1.136 seconds. The average duration that wasneeded to send an SMS was 69 seconds while through call was3.2 seconds.

The rapid development of science and technology has led to the emergence of a crisis in society. Science "pushes" religion, but does not offer a new moral code in its place. The definitions of "security" are almost as many and as controversial as postmodernism. For the purposes of this study, however, it will be sufficient to define security as "the functional state of a system that provides for the neutralization and counteraction of external and internal factors affecting or potentially damaging the system." This scientific article presents a study, which seeks to answer the question why the paradigm "security" is so important in the postmodern society, what are the roots of its influence and meaning, and to seek conclusions and guidelines for its increase.

Network security technology ensures secure data transmission in network. Meanwhile, it brings extra overhead of security system in terms of cost and performance, which seriously affects the rapid development of existing high-speed encryption systems. The existing encryption technology cannot meet the demand of high security, low cost and high real-time. For solving above problems, an ECC encryption engine architecture based on scalable public key cipher and a high-speed configurable multiplication algorithm are designed. The algorithm was tested on FPGA platform and the experiment results show that the system has better computation speed and lower cost overhead. By comparing with other systems, our system has benefits in terms of hardware overhead and encryption time ratio

With the rapid development of electronic commerce, payment is becoming the focus problem of electronic commerce. Electronic cash has become the ideal method of electronic payment for it is able to realize fair, secure, effect electronic transacts. Along with electronic commerce development, electronic cash payment systems are also gradually developing. However, most electronic cashes are facing the security issues. Moreover, the amount of money each electronic cash card contains is fixed at issuance and is available only within a specified system. The key technology is digital signature technology, including blind signature, group signature, and ring signature. The paper researches the security problems of electronic cash in information safety and e-commerce, and discusses the electronic payment and the security problem, which is regarded as the foundation of electronic commerce. The main factors are given that causes security problems of electronic payment, and suggests corresponding precautionary measures.

In the early 2020s the worlds transition from carbon-intensive to climate-neutral energy use has already become a discernible and a difficult-to-reverse process. With Joe Bidens election as US president, the United States have returned to the Paris Climate Agreement and have become a key driver of this process (along with the EU and China). As a result, the international community has reached a consensus on the ongoing energy transition. This process will require considerable effort and may take several decades. Nevertheless, the impact of energy transition on traditional approaches to energy security, which emerged largely as a result of the global oil crises of the 1970s and 1980s and are centered around the supply of fossil fuels, is already a relevant research topic. This problem is examined relying on the relevant terminological, theoretical and factual material. The article concludes that energy transition will ultimately undermine the carbon paradigm that has underpinned energy security policies since the 1970s. Rapid development of renewable and other low-carbon energy sources will certainly remove key energy security risks of energy importers and, possibly, allow them to achieve energy independence. However, a post-carbon era may also generate new risks. For countries that rely heavily on oil, gas and coal exports, energy transition will result in the loss of markets and revenues. It may present an energy security threat for them as well as it will require a costly and technologically complex process of the energy sector decarbonization. Some exporters, especially those with high fuel rents and insufficient financial reserves, may face serious economic and social upheavals as a result of energy transition. The EU and the US energy transition policies reflect provisions of all three fundamental international relations theoretical paradigms, including realism. This means that the EU and the US policy, aimed at promoting climate agenda, may be expected to be rather tough and aggressive. China as the third key player in energy transition is still following a liberal course; however, it may change in the future.

The energy sector in Poland is currently calling for dynamic redevelopment and cleaner energy. This country is world famous for its high level of coal production, from which it does not want to retreat in the next two decades. For this reason, it is safer to gradually reduce the use of coal while increasing the consumption of gas and simultaneously developing green energy. However, the Polish gas sector is still dependent on Russian gas supplied through the Yamal gas pipeline. Taking into consideration Polish geopolitics, this state of affairs poses a huge challenge and a threat to Poland’s energy security. That is why the concept of the North-South Gas Corridor was introduced. It is intended to be a network of gas pipelines that connect the countries of Central and South Europe to two gas terminals (in Poland and Croatia), which will supply gas from a chosen source. This article presents the current condition of the gas sector in Poland. It focuses on the North-South Gas Corridor project and its impact on the energy security of Poland. An analysis of documents and field research shows that the North-South Gas Corridor provides Poland with an opportunity to diversify the sources and directions of gas supply over the next few years.
