Acne is a skin issue that plagues many young people and adults. Even if it is cured, it leaves acne spots or acne scars, which drives many individuals to use skincare products or undertake medical treatment. On the contrary, the use of inappropriate skincare products can exacerbate the condition of the skin. In view of this, this work proposes the use of computer vision (CV) technology to realize a new business model of facial skincare products. The overall framework is composed of a finger vein identification system, skincare products’ recommendation system, and electronic payment system. A finger vein identification system is used as identity verification and personalized service. A skincare products’ recommendation system provides consumers with professional skin analysis through skin type classification and acne detection to recommend skincare products that finally improve skin issues of consumers. An electronic payment system provides a variety of checkout methods, and the system will check out by finger-vein connections according to membership information. Experimental results showed that the equal error rate (EER) comparison of the FV-USM public database on the finger-vein system was the lowest and the response time was the shortest. Additionally, the comparison of the skin type classification accuracy was the highest.

The results of a forensic analysis of typical methods of committing crimes involving the use of electronic payment methods are presented. It is shown that the basis of this criminal activity are the methods of social engineering based on the application of the achievements of modern information and communication technologies, as well as on actions and approaches through which offenders gain unauthorized access to the personal data of the victim. Taking into account the study of the stages of the mechanism of the considered criminal acts, the sources of trace information are formulated, reflecting the processes of interaction of participants in a criminal event with each other and with the environment.

The Malaysian government hopes through collaboration with banks and payments industries to reach a cashless society, leveraging on the existing infrastructure to accelerate the migration to e-payments. The problems that emerge in a cashless society and secured e-payment need to be well considered by the related parties, particularly the policymakers and regulators, to position Malaysia on the right path to embark on the most advanced global trend. Therefore, this chapter aims through contextual analysis to investigate the trend performance and social impact on secured electronic payment (e-payment) in Malaysia during the period of 2016-20.

This study examines the role of using an electronic payment system and the determinants of individual financial satisfaction as a whole. This study uses structural equation modeling (SEM) to test hypotheses regarding financial satisfaction. The results of this study prove that financial capability is able to increase financial satisfaction. However, different results show that the use of an electronic payment system does not affect financial satisfaction. This finding can expand the literature review on digital awareness, satisfaction and behavior in addressing individual financial satisfaction.

Cross-border trade is also changing and innovating. Electronic payment has become the core application of modern cross-border e-commerce. However, although electronic payment has brought convenience and efficiency to enterprises and social life, there are also many problems in transaction information security. These problems not only hinder the development of electronic payment but also bring hidden dangers to people’s property security. Therefore, an encryption algorithm of e-commerce was proposed, and its algorithm security and risk control mode was further studied by means of case analysis, empirical analysis, and comparative analysis. Experimental data show that blockchain technology is a breakthrough. The aim of the study is to explore its application in specific circumstances and strive to make the new e-payment mode in line with international standards.
