Purpose: This research is focused on examining the factors that influence transfer (effectiveness) of On-The-Job training at workplaces in Pakistan. The study identifies the factors that affect transfer of OJT training included independent variables such as motivation to learn, Perceived Organizational Support and Training Design and their impact on employees’ performance i.e. Transfer of Training. Methodology: The study adopted quantitative research and data was collected through well-structured questionnaire. The sample of 200 participants were selected throughout Pakistan using convenience sampling technique. Smart PLS software was used to analyse the data through descriptive statistics, structural equation modelling and Confirmatory factor analysis. Findings: The result revealed that there is a strong and significant impact of motivation to learn and training design on transfer of OJT training at workplaces in Pakistan. However, the results do not show any significant impact of Perceived Organizational Support in organizations on transfer of OJT training. Conclusions: This shows that even though, if the organization support is not present, the motivation to learn new things and to implement it to the workplace and effectively designed training programs can overcome the issues. Practical Implications: Organizations can use the result in favour of their organizational effectiveness, to consistently design effective training programs, and to consistently motivate their employees and to improve support and guidance by top management in the organizations.

Training transfer is important for researchers and practitioners as organization invests much budget in training but reaps only lower estimation of transfer in practical domains. Researches revealed training design and work environment characteristics are important variables which influence training transfer. This study intended to examine individual level of trainee characteristics exclusively by structural equation modeling (SEM) from broad industries in Taiwan by 500 questionnaires sent to participants with 316 usable returns in 63.2% return rate. The result revealed the fully prediction role of motivation on self-efficacy to training transfer. Without other study setting, self-efficacy, motivation to learn, motivation to transfer, and training transfer are sorted sequentially.

Abstract Objectives: Perceived organizational support was a benefit for the work performance of nurses, which may affect emotional labor and the development of professional values. The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between perceived organizational support and professional values of nurses, and the mediating role of emotional labor. Methods: A questionnaire survey was conducted on 1096 nurses in 3 tertiary hospitals in Wuhan from October2020 to Januray2021. The data were collected by a questionnaire consisting of demographic characteristics, the Emotional Labor Scale for Nurses, the nurses' Perceived Organizational Support Scale, and the Nursing Professional Values Scale (NPVS-R). Spearmen correlation analysis was used to test the relationship between variables. Predictor effects were tested using hierarchical multiple regressions. The structural equation model (SEM) was used to test the mediation effect of emotional labor on the pathway from perceived organizational support to professional values. Results: Perceived organizational support was positively correlated with emotional labor and professional values (r=0.513, p<0.01;r=0.621, p<0.01, respectively). Emotional labor and perceived organizational support were positive predictors of professional values (β=0.249, p<0.001; β=0.486, p<0.001, respectively). The association between perceived organizational support and professional values was mediated by emotional labor. Conclusions: Results showed that the importance of improving perceived organizational support to encourage nurses to engage in emotional labor and promote professional values. Improving organizational support and training nurses to engage in emotional labor through providing multiple support systems, establishing reasonable incentive mechanisms, and training nurses to regulate emotions can be effective ways to promote nurses' professional values.

This research aims to test the mediation of organizational citizenship behavior between rewards and recognition toward task performance and the mediation of perceived organizational support between feedbacks from job toward task performance. This research performed on SMEs craft employee in Kasongan, Bantul, with total of 114 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling only to employee with two years work experience and concurrently did not work as an owner. The result showed that organizational citizenship behavior did not mediate rewards and recognition toward task performance, but only perceived organizational support mediated between feedbacks from job toward task performance.

We investigated the mediating effects of positive affect and strengths use in the relationship between perceived organizational support for strengths use (POSSU) and employees' task performance. Data were gathered at 2 time points, separated by a 2-week interval, from 157 employees working in various Chinese enterprises. We applied structural equation modeling and PROCESS macro analysis to the data. The results indicate that POSSU was positively related to task performance and that this relationship was mediated by strengths use. In addition, positive affect and strengths use played a sequential mediating role in the relationship between POSSU and task performance. However, positive affect was not a significant mediator in the POSSU–task performance relationship. Theoretical and managerial implications are discussed in the context of the literature on POSSU and task performance.

The increase in the need for social services and the decrease in available resources may intensify the conflict between professional and organizational loyalties of social workers. Unless this conflict is resolved social workers will remain frustrated and uncooperative. The paper suggests the continuing seminar as a framework for action research and training. It suggests that such an approach may reduce the conflict of loyalties and provide social workers with a meaningful opportunity for professional growth.

The research has been conducted to understand the training effectiveness where health professional participates for training who work under the Bangladesh Government. The research used the Kirkpatrick model. The paper has collected data form, 323 participants. The research measured the training effectiveness using survey questions. The multiple regression techniques have used to conduct analysis of the collected data. The findings of the research revealed that the training effectiveness has been affected significant positively by training motivation, trainer qualification, and training design. Moreover, the training environment does not have significant role on the impacting of the training effectiveness respectively. The study has specific recommendations based on the above findings as the bench mark to improve the effectiveness training in Bangladesh and the regions.

Knowledge sharing is vital for any organization, and it has an essential impact on developing ‎‎skills, increasing value, and maintaining a competitive advantage in the organization. In the knowledge management (KM) literature, ‎‎perceived organizational support and organizational trust have been pointed out as ‎‎primary factors for knowledge sharing. The present study investigated the role of ‎‎perceived organizational support in promoting nurses’ knowledge sharing, considering ‎‎organizational trust as a mediator‎. The cross-sectional study design was applied to examine the ‏hypothesized relationships.‏ ‎Data were ‎‎collected using three questionnaires from three hundred thirty ‎‎nurses working in five public hospitals in Shiraz city. The Partial Least Squares Structural ‎‎Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach was used to analyze data. The results revealed a significant and positive association between perceived organizational support, organizational trust, and knowledge sharing. The findings also demonstrated that organizational trust plays a mediating role between perceived organizational support and knowledge sharing.

Along with emerging the war for talent, scholars have given ample attention to employer branding concept referring the a whole of values and benefits that organizations provide for both attracting and retaining the best possible talent. In this context, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of employer branding on the favorable employee behavior as job embeddedness via the mediating role of the dedication and perceived organizational support.  Data collected from 200 respondents have been analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling. As a result of analyses, the hypothesized model was supported. Findings of the study revealed that employer branding has effect the dedication, job embeddedness and organizational support perception of employees. Additionally, dedication and perceived organizational support partially mediate the relationship between employer branding and job embeddedness. Finally, the theoretical and practical implication, limitations of the study and suggestions for future research are discussed.
