In 2017, NFL viewers complained when NBC Sports used the “Madden” camera for live play-by-play coverage of two Thursday Night Football games. Their comments indicated that they had a difficult time estimating yardage from the new perspective. Those games were just two recent examples of viewers complaining about changes in the visual presentation of live sports broadcasts—a phenomenon that has been happening with the Madden camera for more than a decade. The sports broadcasters’ inability to adjust its production technique for live football coverage, despite repeated attempts, provides important insights about the nature of mass communication. As sports broadcasters continue to look for new production techniques in a constantly evolving media landscape, these findings could help guide their production practices. Using game footage from four NFL broadcasts, the present study tested for differences in yardage estimations made from the traditional game camera (i.e., a stationary camera perpendicular to the field) and the Madden camera (i.e., a moving camera on wires positioned over the field). Participants (N = 473) were randomly assigned to watch 11 plays from either the traditional game camera angle or the Madden camera angle. No significant differences were found in estimates of yardage gains based on camera angle. Thehigh variance in the findings suggests that distance estimations are complex visual processes that may require specialized training to improve accuracy.

Blackberries have now become a common fruit in marketing outlets, particularly in North America and the European Union. Blackberries have enjoyed expansion due to a combination of factors including improved cultivars, expanded marketing efforts and fruit availability, and an overall increase in berry consumption, especially as fresh fruit, in many areas of the world. It is estimated that cultivated blackberries are grown in excess of 25,000 ha worldwide. World production, and cultivation are commented. The rapid expansion of the blackberry industry has been remarkable. New, higher quality, cultivars, modified production practices and new production regions have all combined to make this crop one that consumers expect to be available fresh year-round in their grocery stores. As new cultivars are developed that combine the industry's need for high quality arrivals with increased flavors and expanded dates of harvest, the blackberry industry should expand further.

The study was conducted in Sahibganj district of Jharkhand. There are 9 blocks in Sahibganj district. Five blocks are selected for study, namely Sahibganj, Rajmahal, Barharwa, Taljhari and Udhwa. All these block cultivated paddy as a main crop. Using simple random sampling technique, twenty five farmers were selected from each of the five selected villages from each block, making total 125 respondents for the study. The study has clearly brought out that the major constraints perceived by farmers were technical constraints related to non availability of inputs at time, financial constraints related to high cost of inputs, and extension constraints related to lack of training on new production technology of paddy. In order to improve rice production and overcome the perceived constraints, rice growers suggested the construction and regular maintenance of adequate rice farming infrastructure, particularly those related to irrigation and drainage, improvement of extension system through training, demonstration, information through different channels), availability of inputs at reasonable price and the provision of crop insurance.

Abstract Knowledge of the fruiting patterns of peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) is useful in determining the most feasible band widths for pesticides and other amendments, designing new peanut equipment and adapting new production practices for specific cultivars. The fruiting patterns and the effect of field traffic on these patterns were determined on five large-seeded Virginia type peanut cultivars with variant growth habits. Cultivars differed in fruiting patterns with the bunch growth type having a significantly higher percentage of their pods near the taproot than the runner types. The bunch types, NC 17 and NC-FLA 14 had 73.5 and 66.5% of their total fruit within a 13-cm wide section centered over the taproot whereas, the runners, VA 72R and Florigiant, and the intermediate type, NC 5, had 42.8, 45.5 and 45.3%, respectively, in a similar position. At the 0.05 level of probability, field traffic had no significant effect on the fruit distribution of the bunch cultivars, but NC 5, VA 72R and Florigiant (at 0.10 level) produced significantly less fruit on the side of the row subjected to field traffic during the fruiting season.

Abstract Bendar Village is well- known as a Fishing Village because the majority of Bendar Village residents are fishermen with a total of 55.7% or 880 people. The root of the problem faced by Bendar Village, Juana Subdistrict, Pati Regency was the number of fish catches of the fishermen and human resources that have not been maximally empowered yet, so that they have not been able to improve the welfare of the community yet both individually and in groups in Bendar Village. The partner in this service was KUB Mina Melati. In running its business, KUB Kerupuk Ikan Mina Melati still applied traditional management. The low knowledge of members of KUB Kerupuk Ikan Mina Melati was one of the causes, especially in terms of good cracker production and processing and business management. The activities carried out by this service were training and workshops on cracker production techniques, as well as cracker production practices. With this community service program, it is hoped that the people of Bendar Village can produce fish crackers that have a high selling value. If the selling value of fish cracker processing results is high, the income of citizens will increase, and subsequently, have an impact on improving the welfare of the people of Bendar Village and making Bendar Village a Center Village of Fish Crackers. Keywords: Fishing Village, Fish Crackers, empowerment.

Although "appropriation", in other words "appropriation/adaptation", is a production approach that originates the productions of modern period artists, it has been one of the artistic orientations that form the roof of the Postmodern artistic pluralist structure, which basically has an eclectic body. Artists, who adopt and defend this mode of production, have reinterpreted and circulated existing or previously produced works/images/forms, contrary to the new production approach. At the same time, these artists, who consciously use the symbolic importance of the works they appropriate, while creating the cultural framework of their own production, seek a construction of meaning based on concepts such as reference, citation, irony, parody and incongruity, as well as a structure that tries to draw attention to the richness of meaning in contemporary art. have been placed on their agenda. This concept, which has developed an attitude against the notion of "originality" of modernism, has developed new arguments on the concepts of gender and racial discrimination, social language and discourse, identity, culture and representation, especially after the 1980s, examining the social codes that took shape through certain power relations. It has been shaped even more by the production practices of the artists. In this study, the "appropriation" approach, which is the source of many productions of postmodern art, is mentioned and a quick introduction to the sanctuary of art in the name of the interpretation and analysis of this concept and bringing the "authenticity/originality" discussions in art to the agenda again; The works of Japanese artist Yasumasa Morimura, who revived the masterpieces of art history and popular culture icons in his own body, in order to find himself again in other bodies, to experience and learn, are mentioned. Keywords: Postmodern art, appropriation, reproduction, Yasumasa Morimura

Abstract The harsh conditions presented in Brazilian presalt, summed up with the complexity of its reservoir, generate a series of challenges to improve reservoir recovery. Routinely, we have used intelligent completion systems to address the major part of the challenges; however, with the new production rates new problems have arrived and the usual ones have turned more aggressive, generating risks even to the intelligent completion systems. Inorganic scale is a critical challenge in presalt reservoirs production. Future plans for presalt production include more robust flow conditions and the use of an all-electrical completion system. Higher flow rates are likely to increase the risk of scale deposition and an optimum design is required. To address the new challenges arising from the new perspective of exploration in the presalt fields, we developed the presented workflow to mitigate the scale deposition on completion valves. The method enables the optimization of choke geometry to reduce scale deposition on inflow control valves. The proposed workflow generates a criticalness parameter for geometry classification according to a scenario of mechanical failure (due to sleeve incapacity to move) or deviation of production design point. A computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation was developed and benchmarked by experimental data, thus CFD results for different scenarios and various choke geometries were used to build a risk analysis matrix, which allows the definition of the optimal choke design to mitigate scale on ICVs. The extracted criticalness parameter may be used as an evaluator to estimate the time to valve stuck due to scale deposition in a commercial 1D transient flow simulator, optimizing then valve cycling time.

Increasing integration of video and computer technologies will have a powerful influence on the development and distribution of products for entertainment and education. Random access and frame-by-frame selection of video imagery will allow unprecedented technical control and automation of instructional presentations. The proliferation of video-computer applications can be expected to include inexpensive portable devices and interactive TV networks. These two domains are likely to converge in compatibility and capability. Widespread availability of such technologies may create global markets for interactive video software and require new production techniques. Factors which will influence the social and economic benefits to be derived from this marriage of the computer and the television are outlined and the importance of instructional theory to its appropriate application is noted.
