Perceptions of Implementing Flipped Classroom in Primary Schools during the Covid-19 Pandemic The flipped classroom learning model is a reversal of traditional learning procedures, where what is usually done in class in traditional learning is carried out at home in a flipped classroom. During the current Covid-19 pandemic, many elementary schools are holding lessons using this model. However, the perceptions of teachers, parents, and students have not been well disclosed regarding this learning model. Therefore, this research aims to determine the perceptions of teachers, parents, and students regarding online learning using the flipped classroom model during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method applied in this study uses a qualitative approach. The instrument used in this study was an interview guide that was validated using expert judgment procedures. Interviews were then submitted to the subjects, which included: teachers, parents, and students at SDN Margoyasan (3 teachers, 3 parents, and 2 students), Tukangan Elementary School (2 teachers, 2 parents, and 2 students), SDN Puro Pakualaman (4 teachers, 4 parents and 2 students), and SD Islamiyah Pakualaman (3 teachers, 3 parents, and 2 students). The collected data were analyzed qualitatively to confirm the research findings. The results showed that the perceptions of teachers, parents, and students towards online learning using the flipped classroom method greatly supported the student learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. Even so, apart from finding positive perceptions of the subject, technical obstacles were also found due to the lack of individual facilities owned by students.

The Covid-19 pandemic period has changed the learning process that was previously face-to-face in class, into online learning. In online learning, a strategy is needed in the delivery of learning material so that it can be optimally accepted by students. Flipped classrooms are an alternative learning model that can support the optimization of material delivery during the online learning process. The purpose of this study is to implement the flipped classroom learning model in online learning that is collaborated with the bloom taxonomy, to achieve learning objectives. The research method used is an implementation of the flipped classroom model and distributing questionnaires to collect data on the results of the implementation. The results obtained were positive responses from students in the implementation of online learning using the flipped classroom learning model, students were given instructions and directions in implementing the flipped classroom model from preparation outside the classroom to inside the classroom. The new habit that students apply during the implementation of the flipped classroom is to prepare discussion materials, so that during the live session, the atmosphere in online learning becomes more dynamic with questions and responses from students, the application of the flipped classroom model collaborates with the level of the bloom taxonomy domain (C1-C6) so that a structured learning process is formed so that it supports the learning objectives that have been set in the semester learning plan. The results of the questionnaire distribution also showed that more than 50% stated that they were good and agreed, if the flipped classroom learning model was implemented in the learning process.

Software Design Patterns, namely those belonging to GoF catalog, are gradually being incorporated into undergraduate Computer Sciencesrelated curricula worldwide. However, this is a subject that often requires students to have some maturity on Software Development issues, which is a scenario that is barely found on actual classrooms. Besides, the comprehensive taught of many patterns' aspects depends upon professors' expertise on a large range of Software Engineering and Object Orientation-related topics. Both aspects are possibly caused by the complexity and abstract nature of the subject, whose concrete, real-world applications not always are successfully reached in an undergraduate course. In this sense, this paper presents a strategy for Teaching GoF Design Patterns through a Game Development Process, under a Flipped Classroom pedagogical context. The results of some case studies are also shown, taken from two classes where Challenge-based Learning techniques were applied.

This article explores the concept of translinguism and its application in the educational environment. The authors have developed a learning model that includes flipped classroom, face-to-face classes, team work and project-based learning. The study involved 3rd year students (N=26) of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU), studying in the field of “Ecology”. During one semester (February 2020 - June 2020), students studied the discipline “Spanish” in English according to proposed methodology. The study examined the impact of the proposed model on the study of the Spanish language and the development of translational competence. For the analysis descriptive statistics and pairsamples Students’s t-test were conducted. Interviews were also conducted with students to analyze their perception of the new learning model. Generally, the overall quality of students’ Spanish knowledge improved. According to the descriptive results, students developed their translingual competence significantly. Thus, it can be assumed that the proposed learning model positively influenced students’ level of such competence. The results of the interview showed that students positively evaluate the proposed teaching model, and also consider it to be effective for learning Spanish and developing translingualism.
