Slang is an innovation of language change created by a group of people in highlighting their group. Speakers build a cohesive identity and a separate social class that becomes a culture in society. The purpose of this study was to gain an in-depth understanding of slang as a manifestation of a person's social-cultural identity in the community group in the film Step Up 2 The Street. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected using documentation. The data is in the form of utterances in the dialogue of film players that contain slang words. Data analysis through the stages of data reduction, presentation and concluding. The results of the study conclude that the use of slang in the film Step Up 2 The Street shows the diversity of social and cultural identities in people's lives. The group of slang users refers to the context of similarity in the race, kinship or group, level of intimacy, group localization, and social culture that characterizes each group.

The purpose of this research is getting discription explicity about : syntatic functions and syntatic categories in Kitab Ta’lim Muta’alim. This Research is descriptive research with a comparative-contransitive approach with using special tables of classificate output of research data.                Based on data analysis of research done by research. The conclusion of the research is that there are 35 speech acts of directive commands in the Ta'lim Mutaalim translation book in which syntactic functions and syntactic categories are written. the translation results include the ideology of foreignization.

This study aims to explore and revitalize part of Pakpak Bharat culture, a folktale entitled Nantampuk Mmas which is not well known. The purpose of the study in disseminating Pakpak culture is achieved by presenting a detailed narrative style of the story and an analysis of Pakpak Bharat cultures such as customs, language, folklore, and many others contained in Nantampuk Mmas folktale. The set of data are collected through direct interviews with the locals and elders of Nantampuk Bharat region. The data was analyzed using the content analysis method which is suitable for the qualitative type of data and analyzing interview dialogue. The result of the research found a good quantity of Pakpak Bharat aspect of culture and a narrative text of Nantampuk Mmas folktale. The result of the analysis may be applied as a teaching material, references for literary works, supporting similar research, and so forth

The purpose of this study is to describe the classification of perlocutionary speech acts that can be found in the news text of the Nirina Zubir land mafia case. This methodology uses descriptive qualitative research techniques and text analysis techniques in the data collection process. The author hopes that this study can provide practical and theoretical advantages. Theoretically, this research is expected to contribute knowledge in the realm of pragmatics, especially on the function of perlocutionary speech acts to support the development of pragmatics. Then practically, the author hopes that this research can help readers and the public in understanding the form of perlocutionary speech acts in a news text.

This article aims to describe the application of learning the Arabic Language Learning Media course that combines blended-learning, project-based learning and the OLSi Model (Own it, Learn it and Share it). The learning outcomes of this course is the ability of students to design learning media in accordance with the material and learning objectives set out in the lesson plan. Blended-learning is combined to adapt to the conditions of distance learning carried out during the covid-19 pandemic. Project-based learning is expected to encourage students to produce good learning media products. The Own it, Learn it and Share it (OLSi) model aims to foster a sense of belonging in students towards the course, encourage independent learning processes and produce certain products that can be shared with others outside the classroom. Mixed learning, project-based learning and the OLSi model are quite effective in increasing students' motivation, sense of belonging and responsibility in achieving the learning objectives of the Arabic Language Learning Media course.

Abstract The Flipped Classroom is a teaching method that makes use of technology to provide a self-directed learning environment for students. The purpose of this article is to learn about high school students' perspectives on Flipped Classroom, the use of video and social media, time spent studying, mastery of learning materials, and completion of online learning. This study is a descriptive study. Questionnaires were presented to 95 Indonesian students who were chosen at random. In general, when students use Flipped Classroom in Indonesian lessons, they spend less time doing assignments or homework, they enjoy learning more, and they benefit from learning videos in Flipped Classroom to help them grasp the material. This article demonstrates how Flipped Classroom improves student participation, communication, and understanding.   Keywords: Flipped Classroom, online learning, technology

As a place for learning activities, educational institutions must adapt to the times to not be viewed as a threat in the current era of education 4.0. Along with 21st-century learning needs to foster students' creative, innovative and competitive attitudes by implementing technology as an auxiliary medium in the learning process to produce quality students. This research is a descriptive case study to explore the application of the cybergogy concept about facing the challenges of learning in the 21st-century, especially in lecturing German in the courses offered by students. The sample in this study were students in semesters II, IV, and VI of the German Language Education Study Program, with 35 students. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, interviews, and document review. Data from questionnaires, discussions and document reviews were analyzed using descriptive statistics referring to the Milles and Huberman stages. The results showed that the concept of cybergogy had been applying 30% synchronously and 70% asynchronously. On average, 93-94% of students and lecturers have used technology-based media in the German language learning process because of the availability of teaching materials and supporting facilities for information and communication technology to face 21st-century learning.

The study was conducted with the aim of analyzing and discussing the use of language in the text of the news discourse on the liputan6.com page on the dissolution of the BSNP (National Education Standards Agency) which was published on September 3, 2021 using the framework of Theo Van Leeuwen's critical discourse analysis model. This research is qualitative research that uses descriptive methods. The data taken in this study uses content analysis. In addition, this research also refers to the study of literature in the form of journals, books and other literature so that a comprehensive and holistic discussion of the research topics raised is obtained. The results of the discussion obtained from this study are based on the category of exclusion and inclusion strategies according to Theo Van Leeuwen. Categories of exclusion strategies include pasivation, nominalization and replacement of sentence clauses while inclusion strategy categories include differentiation-inference, objectivation-abstraction, nomination-categorization, nomination-identification, determination-indetermination, assimilation-individualization and association-dissociation. With an analysis of the use of this category of exclusion and inclusion strategies, audiences can understand how the emphasis of marginalized actors, actors who are championed and power relationships on the process marginalizes or fights for these aspects.

Intertext research was carried out to find the connection between the Chatedrale de Chartes poem by Sitor Situmorang and the Pants Creed poem by Joko Pinurbo. The relationship is related to the similarities and conflicts. This is due to the diversity of the Indonesian people because of differences in ethnicity, race, religion, and intergroups that require conflict so that this intertextual needs to be studied as teaching material in multicultural education. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with content analysis method. The research data is the Chatedrale de Chartes poem and the Pants Creed poem. Data processing techniques with literature studies, see, and notes are done by comparing the two poems using a heuristic and hermeneutic reading model to explain the interquality relationship between poems, both from the conversation that proves it. To discuss the validity of this study was used a triangulation model, namely data triangulation, theory triangulation, and expert triangulation. The results of the study are (1) intertextual relationships found in Chatedrale de Chartes and Pants Creed poems in heuristic and hermeneutic readings. (2) The results of this intertextual study are very important to be applied in multicultural education in Indonesia and the important role of government, contributions to the curriculum, and educators (teachers) in delivering intertextual material in the arts so that they are created in policy, interrelated, and between students in society multicultural.

This research aims to obtain a deeper understanding of the Indonesian cultural terms in the novel Tarian Bumi and their translation into English, Earth Dance. This research focuses on the use of translation strategies, equivalences, errors, and factors affecting the errors. It uses a qualitative approach with the content analysis method. Both of the novels were read to find data. The collected data was divided, analyzed, and compared with their translation. The data analysis and explanation indicate that the strategy used in the translation of the cultural terms is a translation procedure amounted to 11 procedures, couplets and triplets are also used. The translation is oriented towards the source language because the translator often used procedures and equivalence oriented to the source language. The result of this research is also to look for translation errors of cultural terms and factors affecting the errors and to find how to solve them. It is caused by knowledge of the translator and different cultures. This research will give some benefits for those who are interested in studying the translation theory and other students who want to research Indonesian cultural terms translated into English.
