Improving the competitiveness of domestic enterprises is based on the introduction of advanced business and management information technologies. The current business environment is increasingly causing an urgent need for managers to expand the horizon of digital vision not only for current, but also for future management of the company. Today, it is not enough for a Manager to simply have proper professional knowledge in certain functional areas of activity and have a broad managerial Outlook. A modern Manager should be able to initiate the introduction and use of advanced information systems and technologies in almost all implemented business processes of his company. When preparing the article, the materials of research conducted at a number of domestic industrial enterprises were used. Conclusions and main provisions are based on the results of analysis of real practice of implementation and operation of corporate information systems. The results obtained in the course of the research, including the opinions of experts, which were made by employees of industrial enterprises, were used in conducting targeted work to establish a priority list of the most relevant and significant professional areas of knowledge and professional qualities that can help a modern Manager achieve success in the implementation and practical use of corporate information systems. The main result of the research should be considered the formation of such a priority list.

conditions for the introduction of digital technologies and its own level of potential. This makes the issues of assessing the digital potential of economic systems at various levels increasingly important. The presented study expands and assesses the concept of the potential of industrial complexes in the context of digital transformations.Aim. The study aims to assess the digital potential of industrial complexes based on the analysis of regional conditions for the use of information technologies and information and telecommunications networks.Tasks. The authors substantiate the urgency of the problem and the experience of solving it; explore the essence of the potential of industrial complexes in the context of digital transformations, summarize approaches to its assessment, characterize the digital potential of the industry; assess the digital potential of the regions of the Russian Federation as specific territories where industrial complexes are located; propose ways of increasing the digital potential of territories.Methods. This study uses general scientific methods of cognition and methods of comparative analysis to develop the general research logic and explore the essence of the examined phenomena and processes. It also uses such methodological tools as analytical introspection (determining the estimated phenomena of the examined object through the analysis of practical materials) and theoretical cognition (grouping and summarizing scientific research in the field of digital transformations in the economy). Methods of applied statistics and cluster analysis are used to examine various aspects of the use of information technologies and information and telecommunications networks in regional Russian organizations. Applied software Excel and IBM SPSS Statistics are used to perform calculations, process and evaluate the information used in the study.Results. The authors conclude that it is necessary to separate digital potential from the structure of potential of industrial enterprises and complexes. Digital potential is described as an opportunity for enterprises to build a more effective management system through digital technologies and/or their implementation in production processes. By using the total placings method and data clustering based on intergroup relations, the authors are able to rank regions of the Russian Federation and group them into six clusters by the degree to which information technologies and information and telecommunications networks are used in organizations. Major directions for increasing the digital potential of Russian regions as specific territories where industrial complexes are located are proposed.Conclusions. The conducted study explores the essence of the potential of industrial complexes in the context of digital transformations, summarizes approaches to its assessment, and determines the essence of the digital potential of the industry; assesses the digital potential of Russian regions as specific territories where industrial complexes are located; proposes ways of increasing the digital potential of territories.

The use of modern technological and managerial solutions is becoming a necessary condition to increase the efficiency of industrial enterprises' production activities. The quantity and quality of their products depend fundamentally on the management system, employees' competencies, as well as their material and technical base, in which a special role belongs to information technologies (IT) that automate production processes and projects. Construction and use of complex information systems of industrial enterprise management, based on the architectural approach and the methodology of the architecture of IT will allow effectively competing in the rapidly changing market in the era of the digital economy. It minimizes the number of employees in operating and support units, and significantly increasing labor productivity, quantity, and quality of created products and services.

Currently a number of Russian companies suffer the oppression of sectoral sanctions, and therefore the issue of ensuring economic security, especially of industrial enterprises, which play a key role in the national security of Russia, is of particular relevance. In the authors’ opinion, such security can be ensured by means of effective corporate cost accounting and management on the basis of reasonable local managerial ideology and modern information technologies. The article discusses the fundamental principles of the authors’ “Russian-cost” managerial ideology and the corporate cost accounting and management method carrying the same name. The ability of the enterprise to allocate expenses by the divisions participating in production is an indispensable condition of applying this method. The starting point of ideology is that no enterprise can have divisions without their own economically justified significance. As a result, within the enterprise, a closed circle of income and expenses is formed, which “pushes out” expenses and encourages divisions to increase income. Within this circle expenses can be “exchanged” for a salary and other incentives, resulting into the effect of “self-outsourcing”. In the long run, the company’s management has an opportunity to take effective managerial decisions based on the objective evaluation of each division’s “contribution” to financial results of the enterprise performance. “Russian-cost” is, first of all, an information and management shell, within which entrepreneurial plans and specified (for example, by the owner) parameters of the enterprise functioning can be implemented, i.e., it is a tool, ideology which inter alia can be used as a basis to build an automated management system.

The article is dedicated to the analysis of the digital transformation processes of the procedure of making aviation technics based on the usage of high technological platform MindSphere. The architecture and tools of the Siemens IIoT MindSphere open cloud operating system are reviewed. There are the capabilities of the MindSphere platform for the digital transformation of industrial enterprises. In theoretical part of this article, the authors consider perspective technologies of digitalization at domestic aviation enterprises, where the main factors are work in the sphere of introducing artificial intelligence and creating unique digital twins of aircrafts. The research is based on the comprehensive analysis and synthesis with the following forming of the final grade of the main results of realization of technological domestic enterprises’ transformation. In the course of the study, the task is to identify key areas and areas of technological transformation and the possibility of using promising information technologies (IT) systems. The article’s authors point out that for solution of tasks of predictive analytics, multivariate analysis, trend prediction, and pattern analysis based on artificial intelligence / machine learning methods aviation enterprises have to use technological abilities of the platform MindSphere. It is defined that the development a full-fledged virtual object model based on technologies included in the platform Mindsphere will allow solving a lot of problems during its development and also there comes up an opportunity to qualitatively analyze the various options for the developed product and optimize the time / expenses connected to its last development. During the conducted analysis, it was found out that technologies Siemens PLM (Product lifecycle) Software on the platform MindSphere allow making verified models aircraft, their units, components and systems, as well as conduct their virtual tests. For typical aviation systems and components of the solution suggest available libraries of customized models, due to which reliable calculations and rejection of part of field tests are possible. In the result of the conducted research authors come to the conclusion that with the help of the platform MindSphere enterprises, holdings, and even whole industries it will be able to close digital chains between the design, manufacture, and product operation.

Based on the information technologies and the semantic fields for the technical terms of industrial enterprises of the XVIII century were investigated. The field analysis was carried out according to three sources containing the terms of industrial equipment the travel notes of the leaders of the Orenburg scientific detachments. The study of semantic fields was carried out on the basis of the Semograph information system and the SciVi visual analytic program. Using the example of the semantic fields Industrial enterprise and Industrial equipment studied the relationships between the fields, the volume and the weight of terms included in the field.

The paper discusses problems of representing information about production assets in databases of information systems in tasks of assets registration and recording. Main approaches of representing asset registration data in a relational database are considered. An improved approach based on inheritance implementation is proposed. Its advantage is good enough flexibility, good performance and reach security. Appraisal information about implementation of proposed solutions in some oil-and-gas enterprises of Western Siberia is given.
