Introduction. The question of the body's immune reactivity when using mesh implants for plastic surgery of the chest frame remains not fully understood.Aims. The effect of the polypropylene mesh endoprosthesis "Surgipro" on systemic and local cytokine production after reconstruction of the chest frame was evaluated.Materials and methods. The work was performed on male Wistar rats weighing 250 50 grams (n=21). The main group consisted of rats with musculo-aponeurotic plasty (n=9), the comparison group consisted of animals that underwent chest plasty after removal of the posterior segment of the IV rib measuring 1.0 cm and overlapping over the mesh (n=9). Healthy rats without surgery served as control (n=3). The animals were taken out of the experiment on days 1, 10 and 30 after the operation. Determination of cytokines TNF-, IFN- and IL-10 in the blood serum and biopsy of the postoperative scar was performed by the method of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results. It was found that in the experiment, the plastic of the chest frame affects the systemic and local production of cytokines TNF-, IFN- and IL-10. A more intense increase in serum and local anti-inflammatory cytokines was recorded with the use of the implant (p˃0.05). At the same time, the production of anti-inflammatory IL-10 was recorded at values below the control (p˃0.05).Conclusions. The conducted experimental study revealed that the use of a mesh endoprosthesis in the restoration of a defect in the thoracic frame causes more pronounced systemic and local production of cytokines TNF-, IFN- and reduces the production of IL-10.

The aim: To define the level of pro- and anti-inflammatory IL-1β, IL-10 in the oral fluid of children with chronic gastroduodenitis, depending on the level of IkBα expression. Materials and methods: Studiing the oral fluid and scraping of the gums of 50 children 6-12 years old was carried out to determine the level of IL-1β, IL-10 and IkBα. The children were divided into 3 groups. Group 1 - 10 children with healthy periodontium and without somatic diseases. 2nd group - 20 somatically healthy children with chronic catarrhal gingivitis. The third group (20 children) of children with gastroduodenitis and chronic catarrhal gingivitis. The determination of the mRNA expression of the IkBα geneand the level of IL-10 and IL-1β in the oral fluid was carried out by real-time PCR. Results: We determined that the level of pro-inflammatory IL-1β in the oral fluid of primary school children had different levels in accordance with the state of dental and somatic health. It was the lowest in somatically healthy children without signs of gingivitis. We revealed that the level of IL-10 has anti-inflammatory properties, and an inverse relationship with the concentration of IL-1β in the oral fluid of examined children. Analysis of IkBα expression made it possible to reveal its suppression in children of the second and third groups compared with healthy children. Conclusions: We found changes in the levels of IkBα in the gums of children with chronic catarrhal gingivitis; attenuated IkBα expression may lead to the deregulation of NF-κB pathways in the pathogenesis of periodontitis. Decreased IkBα expression may affect cytokine production and inflammatory response associated with chronic catarrhal gingivitis and with chronic gastroduodenitis.

The objective: to show a role of the family focused technologies in depression of frequency of pathology of pregnancy at women of high obstetric risk. Patients and methods. For determination of efficiency of prophylaxis of pathology of pregnancy on the basis of use of the family focused technologies complex clinical-psychological and laboratory and tool examination of 300 women with factors of obstetric risk which were divided into two groups was conducted. In the main group – 182 women with motivation on partner labors to which provided training on system of individual preparation of married couple to labors. The comparison group consisted of 118 women who were not in prenatal training and had individual support in childbirth, with the traditional approach to pain management. Results. Use of the family focused technologies during pregnancy allows to reduce significantly the frequency of the main complications of pregnancy, especially not incubation and premature births. Conclusion. In our opinion, the technique is simple, available and can widely be used in practical health care at women with high obstetric risk. Key words: obstetric risk, the family focused technologies, prophylaxis.

Kepuh (Sterculia foetida L) is a type of kapok plant that has been scientifically proven to have activity as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic. 70% ethanol extract of stem stem is obtained by maceration using 70% ethanol. Examination of the characteristics of 70% ethanol extract of kepuh stem included organoleptic, of moisture content and determination of residual solvent content. Phytochemical screening of 70% ethanol extract of kepuh bark includes: alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tannin , polyphenol, and examination of glycosides. The results of the examination of the characteristics of 70% ethanol extract of kepuh stem obtained water content of 8.66 ± 0.748%, the residual content of the solvent had a 0 (zero) ethanol level. The results of phytochemical screening showed 70% ethanol extract of stem stem containing steroid compounds, triterpenoids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins and polyphenols. The identification using UV-Vis spectrophotometry produced ? 212, the absorbance was 1.8601 and ? 284, the absorbance was 0.42186.
