This study aimed to understand the needs of students and lecturers for guidebooks on multimedia learning evaluation. This study was conducted because it had been found that some students and lecturers had difficulty in evaluating learning multimedia, and had insufficient understanding of the evaluation process, the relevance of the instruments, and the assessment indicators. This needs analysis study was conducted as the initial stage of development research. The content of the guidebook included general descriptions, evaluation plans, development of assessment instruments, product validation, and analysis of learning multimedia assessment data. The data were collected by conducting a literature review and online surveys with 35 respondents in the field of educational technology from around Yogyakarta, Central Java and surrounding areas. The data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The findings indicated that 77.1% strongly needed guidebooks and as many as 40% experienced difficulties in carrying out learning multimedia evaluation as developers and/or evaluators. 80% of the respondents wanted both a printed and electronic guidebook, 14.3% only wanted an electronic book, and the rest only wanted a printed book. The emergence of biologic therapies has revolutionized the management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) by halting disease progression, increasing remission rates and improving long-term clinical outcomes. Despite these well-described benefits, many patients are reluctant to commence therapy due to drug safety concerns. Adverse events can be detected at each stage of drug development and during the post-marketing period. In this article, we review how to best assess the safety parameters of new IBD medications, from the earliest stage of development to population-based registries, with a focus on the special populations often excluded from the evaluation process.

In summary, the evaluation of the KRM has demonstrated that this approach and this specific machine can permit immediate access to printed material by most blind individuals. The greatest limitation at this stage of development is related to the confidence level that many users have placed in the ability of the machine to read various kinds of reading material. This factor has limited the use of the machine as an aid to employment of blind people. It is believed that many of the problems identified in the evaluation process can be overcome with further research and development of the KRM. The evaluation of the KRM by blind and sighted individuals throughout the country has led to the unanimous conclusion that further investigations with improved models of the KRM are warranted. The software in the existing models should be improved to eliminate some of the problems identified above. Hardware changes should be made to eliminate other identified problems. The concern regarding the lack of use of the KRM by employed blind individuals residing close to existing machines probably cannot be alleviated until reading machines of this kind can be located within the actual employment situation. Blind individuals are not willing, nor should they be, to travel to where machines are located in order to read work related materials. Other alternatives, including sighted readers, can be utilized within a work setting. This conclusion suggests the necessity of reaching the point at which speech-output reading machines can be affordable by individuals. Postscript: Since the completion of this evaluation project and the submission of the final report to the supporting governmental agency and to the manufacturer, KCP announced plans for Model Three of the KRM, a desk-top unit. The design includes most of the recommendations suggested in this report such as a hand-scanning option, a small tactile display to assist in format recognition, automatic contrast control with manual override capability, and a spell-next-letter feature. In addition, KCP announced several innovative features. The new model will permit the improved speech synthesizer to speak at rates up to 250 words per minute. Model Three will also have the capability of attaching to a braille embosser to provide direct print to braille conversion. The unit can also be attached to a computer to provide immediate full vocabulary output for computers. A new program is being developed to be used with all KRM's to permit the reading machines to be used as high-powered, programmable, scientific calculators. The new models and programs are scheduled for distribution in early fall 1978. Comprehensive evaluation of these advances is planned.

The main objective of the research is identifying the effectiveness of artificial intelligence in the business sphere of Kazakhstan. The urgency of this problem is due to the fact that the Kazakhstani market for artificial intelligence is at the initial stage of development. The main obstacle to the introduction of artificial intelligence is the unpreparedness of managers of small and medium-sized businesses for the application of artificial intelligence technologies and, of course, the high cost of their implementation. In the study, we proceeded from the key thesis that business in Kazakhstan is striving for digital transformation. We set a goal to determine the attitude and degree of readiness of Kazakhstani business to the implementation and practical application of artificial intelligence, to describe the cases of using artificial intelligence by Kazakhstani business, to identify the main questions that arise in business at this stage, to study the legal aspects of using artificial intelligence in business and to present the big picture compliance / inconsistency of the existing legal framework with the goals and objectives of the development of artificial intelligence, provide recommendations for eliminatinge xisting barriers and stimulating businesses to implement the technology. Within the framework of this study, the concept of artificial intelligence is defined in its broadest sense - as a set of technologies for processing various types of data and information, in particular those capable of interpreting such data, extracting knowledge and using it to achieve certain goals.

The study shows how nanotechnology evolves in developed countries and Brazil, raising aspects of private and governmental initiatives. The investigation was based in scientific literature, electronic articles and conference reports. Several sources of literature were used, including electronic databases and reference lists. By this study, it was observed that, although nanotechnology is in initial stage of development all over the world, the developed countries have had growing public and private investments in the area each year. In those countries, there is a concern toward both, the formation of specialists in nanotechnology and the transference of technology developed in universities and research institutes to industry. In Brazil, the study showed that despite the growing concern of investigators, national research centers and financial centers toward the development of the nanotechnology, there is still a need for more investment and formation of area specialists.

The research objective is to see the applicability of Assessment for Learning (AFL) in the classes of vocabulary and pragmatics. The subjects of the research were students and lecturers of Vocabulary 3 and Pragmatics classes. The research was conducted in State Islamic Studies Institute (STAIN) Salatiga, Central Java, Indonesia. The results of theresearch indicate that AfL could assess the class activities comprehensively. It could assess teacher and students‘ behavior in the class. The teacher guides the class from preparing the class, delivering materials and evaluating the class. Meanwhile students‘ behavior in theclasses of pragmatics is better then in vocabulary. Students who express positive behavior in the classes of vocabulary are in the range of 30% - 60% and around 80 – 90s % in pragmatics.Keywords: assessment for learning; evaluation; vocabulary; pragmatics; English teaching learning

Simple observation of events for the disaster in Indonesia is almost always showed the same picture is a condition in which reactive attitude and spontaneous, unplanned as shown by society and government. There is a general tendency that people do not know how to act or addressing disaster. Regional preparedness in the face of natural disasters is very important. Slamet mountain with an altitude of 3,428 meters above sea level is the highest mountain in Central Java and the second highest in Java. Population data in the area of Mount Slamet and surrounding areas are included in Kawasan Rawan Bencana (disaster-prone areas) is approximately 215 953 inhabitants. Seeing the extent of the area affected by the eruption of Mount Slamet threats can not be taken lightly. This study aimed to explore the networking model for effective disaster risk reduction in disaster-prone areas of Mount Slamet. Networking model for disaster risk reduction is a very important information in order to overcome the impact of the eruption of Mount Slamet.

This research based on the problems about learning evaluation in which was less attractive because it had not used evaluation instruments based on technology, especially the learning process during the Covid 19 outbreak. The purpose of this study was to develop an evaluation of Arabic learning for SMK in the form of an objective test based on Kahoot application during the Covid-19 outbreak. This research data were obtained from the interviews and students' responses to the evaluation. The interviews were conducted with groups of students as participants in the study, meanwhile, students' responses were confirmed to 32 students. The findings of this study indicated that the Arabic language objective test evaluation instrument by using the kahoot application was very feasible.  94% according to design experts, 96% according to material experts, 96% according to media experts. The results of the product effectiveness trial of the objective test evaluation instrument based on the kahoot application were 86% for one to one learner, 90% for the small group test, 88% for the field trial test. The development of an Arabic evaluation in the form of an objective test based on the Kahoot application during the Covid-19 outbreak had a significant effect on the evaluation of Arabic and could make students more active, independent and feel comfortable in the evaluation process. In line with that, this paper suggested the need for teacher and institutional involvement in solving the problem of community limitations in online learning evaluation.
