This is a case study carried out in 2018. It aims to describe the proposal for the care of a patient with a psychotic psychic structure. The case comes from the proposal of psychoanalytic care in a social clinic, in the individual and group mode, for a period of more than eight years. Group meetings and individual sessions took place weekly. In group mode, with the participation of four analysts, there was also a social triad: patients, mom and dad. In the individual mode, the relationship took place as an analyst-analyzed. From a little participatory beginning in the group and in the individual sessions, the patient (Rebeca - fictitious name), evolved improving her socialization, her family relationship, and even her professional issues. The psychosis clinic is an arduous task, but Rebeca managed to position herself and detach herself from the family. Currently, she is working, has maintained good social contact with the other members of the therapeutic group (Grupo Vida) and with her co-workers. This clinic is captivating because, in some way, the bond with patients remains; it is an endless analysis, which requires courage and determination from the analyst. The importance of the viability of the psychosis clinic is pointed out, in the psychoanalytic proposal, via active transference.

This study investigates how the directors of two selected case study films criticise the real-life remnants of patriarchy in the family sphere, in nominally gender-equal Yugoslavia. I argue that they do this by transposing their stories from socialist Yugoslavia to the pre-socialist times: during Ottoman rule and monarchist Yugoslavia. The selected period films Breza/The Birch Tree (Ante Babaja, 1967, Yugoslavia) and Roj/The Beehive aka The Swarm (Miodrag ‘Mića’ Popović, 1966, Yugoslavia), both belonging to the Yugoslav novi film (New Film) movement (1961-1972), refract the workings of the vestiges of patriarchy in a family domain of Yugoslav socialist society. In these two costume dramas, patriarchy is portrayed to its fullest extent, due to their stories being set in the past, ostensibly unrelated to contemporary Yugoslav society and thus uninhibited by the drive to cater to the official discourse of female emancipation. Applying a critical film feminist perspective, by formal analysis via close readings of these two selected films, this article examines the iconography linked to fictional depictions of heroines and delves into the representation of victimisation of women. I investigate whether the depiction of the female sorceress(es) embody the primitiveness, ignorance, and/or poverty of economically disadvantaged and historically oppressed pre-socialist village. In order to peruse not only the individual portrayal of female protagonists but the dynamics of their interaction, the Bechdel test is applied and complemented with concepts such as the ‘reversed masquerade’ and ‘cryptomatriarchy’, which sheds light on the relationship between women and the presence or absence of female solidarity.

Divorce is the end of a marriage. Divorce is a break in the relationship between husband and wife. Every married couple must have their ways to prevent a divorce from happening. Divorce is always based on quarrels between husband and wife. This is the reason that a dispute between husband and wife occurs because one of the parties wants a divorce, therefore the family relationship is not harmonious. Offspring who are not present in the household is very important, apart from being the successor of the heir, children are also the goal of a harmonious household, especially if certain tribes or customs require an offspring to be the successor of the family name. In this case, the applicant and the defendant both did not want to adopt a child, so they decided to divorce at Religious Court Medan

This paper makes an important, interdisciplinary contribution, to the ongoing debate on the transition from clanship to capitalism. Integral to this contribution is the important distinction between capitalism as an individualist ideology and capitalist societies where individualism is a widespread but not necessarily a universal ideology. His concern is not with the bipolar opposition of landlord and people which tends to dominate debates on the land issue in the Highlands. Instead, he focuses on material culture change in relation to landscape organisation, settlement patterns and morphology in order to examine how social relationships were structured during the critical period of estate re-orientation often depicted progressively as Improvement but regressively as clearance through the removal and relocation of population. His case study on Kintyre is particularly valuable. By scrutinising spatial as well as social relationships Dalglish demonstrates that clanship was based as much on daily practices of living as on an patrimonial ideology of kinship, practices which led the House of Argyll to attempt the reinvention of concepts of occupancy in order to emphasise the importance of the individual over the family through partitioned space.

The Kondh live within the forest and they are highly dependent on forest for maintaining their livelihood. Specifically, women, who take family and community responsibilities, usually go through a continuous struggle from inside the family, as well as from the outside. Further, this study explains the case of the community’s role in maintaining the forest through social unrest. This work further intends to study how government policies, particularly forest policy, affect indigenous Kondh, when the destruction of natural resources has been increasing, and how women raise voices to sustain their environment.

The psychiatric reform that took place in Brazil carries characteristics of other movements that occurred in other parts of the world. The idea common to all movements is the struggle for the rights of the individual in mental suffering, seeking mainly the rupture of the mental model. These changes led to several transformations in the care scenario, for all professions directly linked to the patient. Nursing in turn has experienced and experiences significant changes in the provision of care. The aim of this study is to talk about nursing care for patients affected by mental disorder, making a temporal analysis of how this care occurred and how it presents itself in the current mental health conjuncture. The methodology is of the literature review type, which occurred through research in the databases BIREME, Lilacs, Scielo, BDENF and VHL. For this, the descriptors: nursing care for people with disorders were selected; nursing care for patients with mental disorders. In view of the results, it was evidenced that nurses are an important part of caring for patients with mental disorders, noting that these make up a multidisciplinary team and highlighting that care goes far beyond just caring for the patient, but that it consists mainly in the relationship with the patient's family, in bonding, in the work that aims at social reintegration and often also the family reinsertion of the individual. Profession that needs to undergo constant updates, but has experienced numerous transformations throughout this period of Reformation.

A family faced with alcohol dependence of its member most often does not take any action to solve the problem. This is mainly due to the lack of knowledge about co dependency of all people living under one roof with the addict. The spouse/partner as well as children of the addicted individual feel shame as they are blamed by the person abusing alcohol for the situation, and that hinders or cripples any attempts to solve the problem. Times of drinking and associated fighting, aggression and violence are interspersed with “honeymoon like periods”, so family members are convinced that one day the addiction will end and “things will somehow turn out right”. It is not only the drinking person but also his/her closest relatives who deny there is a problem if the fact is pointed out and confirmed by anyone outside the family. Despite the suffering and damage caused by the lack of the drinking person’s concern for his/her family as well as his/her absence and disengagement from the daily routines, the spouse/partner and the children put on “masks” and claim there is no problem. The greatest tragedy of children living in a family with a drinking problem is the fact that, without being aware of it, they continue to play the same roles in their adult life, as ACA. An addicted person may decide to stop drinking only if they admit full responsibility for the effects of their own lack of control over drinking which leads to significant damage on a personal and family level, exposing everyone to suffering and harm. Of great importance in motivating an alcoholic to remain sober is a short family intervention during a meeting in a group of people significant for the addict. The essence of co dependency may be explained using a case study showing the attempts made by a wife trying to justify behaviours of her husband who abuses alcohol.

The article considers the gender culture in the family, one of the most closed and local socio-cultural institutions. The relevance of this topic is determined by the anthropological turn in modern humanitarian knowledge, and the involvement of new data in scientific circulation, which is obtained as a result of the use of case-study semi-formalized techniques for interviewing respondents. Thus, on the basis of the interviews received, there are reconstructed contradictory forms of gender identity in a young married couple in Perm. The article presents the materials of the respondents’ interviews in the form of narratives consistently presenting the key stages of the relationship. Gradually, the narrative’s characters begin to construct a gender identity in a new cultural institution – their own family. There can be seen a conflict between the characters’ symbolic self-identity and their real practices. The man takes a dominant role in the beginning of the relationship. He objectifies the woman and alone decides when to start the relationship. Then the situation changes. The man’s dominant role is replaced with a passive one. The initiative goes to the woman, who repeats the man’s behavior. At the same time, it turns out that in everyday life, the respondents fill the roles of the husband and wife with special content. The wife’s role includes the mother’s behavior towards her husband, and the husband’s role includes the child’s behavior towards his wife. The family is an inverse patriarchal type of relationship. The woman has a dominant role, but identifies herself as an obedient wife.
