The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of learning organization and compensation on work motivation and its implications on the performance of permanent lecturers of S-1 Management Study Program in private universities accredited in DKI Jakarta. The research uses the causality method; both descriptive and quantitative hypothesis testing. The population of this research is 185 lecturers of S-1 Management Study Program in private universities accredited in DKI Jakarta. Proportional random sampling and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Lisrel program 8.70 was used. The results showed significantly positive relationship between work motivation and individually and collectively taken variables; learning organization and compensation. With respect to the performance of lecturers, good learning organization, compensation, work motivation have shown significant positive effect. Certainly, several managerial implications can be inferred from these findings.

This study aimed to determine the effect of work environment, training, and competence on work satisfaction in improving employee performance. The object in this study is PT. Asaputex Jaya, located in Tegal City, engaged in woven sarong’s trading business with the Korma Tree brand. The sample used in this study was determined by a simple random sampling method, obtaining 105 respondents. The data in this study were obtained through a questionnaire that was filled out independently. The analysis used in this study uses the analysis method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This study proves and concludes that: work environment and work training have a significant positive effect on work satisfaction. However, competence does not affect work satisfaction. Besides, the work environment negatively affects employee performance, and work training does not affect employee performance. Also, competence and work satisfaction have a significant positive effect on employee performance. Further research must develop more varied models to provide different research findings, such as adding work stress variables, work motivation, work discipline, and others.

This research was conducted at a private high school in Rawamangun Village, Pulo Gadung Subdistrict, East Jakarta. In this study using a saturated sample technique that is the entire population used as a sample, namely 115 respondents. The Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was chosen as a statistical analysis technique. The results showed that the effectiveness of leadership and organizational trust had a direct positive effect on work motivation. The effectiveness of organizational leadership and trust has a direct positive effect on organizational commitment. Leadership effectiveness has a direct positive effect on organizational trust and work motivation has a direct positive effect on organizational commitment. The output of this research is that it can provide input for the school in determining policies specifically in determining the position requirements or the recruitment of school principals so that it is expected to increase the confidence, work motivation and commitment of teachers in school organizations.</p>

This study empirically explored antecedents and outcomes related to social entrepreneurship in the context of professional sports from the customer’s perspective. Two parent companies—FuBon and ChinaTrust, both financial holding firms—and two franchises—FuBon Guardians and ChinaTrust Elephants—in the Chinese Professional Baseball League were the research elements in this study to ensure generalizability of the findings of this study. The participants of this study were 268 spectators of a FuBon Guardians game and 201 spectators of a ChinaTrust Elephants game. Structural equation modeling was used for data analysis. Results indicated that innovation and corporate social responsibility positively correlated with social entrepreneurship. Moreover, social entrepreneurship was positively associated with affective commitment to the parent company and sports franchise. Finally, affective commitment to the parent company not only exerted a positive effect on the intention to purchase the products of the parent company but also promoted the intention to purchase licensed merchandise and attend games. Similarly, affective commitment to the sports franchise not only exerted a positive effect on the intention to purchase licensed merchandise and attend games but also promoted the intention to purchase the products of the parent company. Theoretical and managerial implications are discussed in this study.

On YouTube, skippable in-stream advertisements (ads) are critical income for both YouTube and content creators. However, ads inevitably irritate viewers, and as a result, they tend to avoid ads. Thus, this study attempts to identify potential mitigators—source attractiveness and reciprocal altruism—of ad irritation and avoidance in the context of YouTube skippable in-stream ads. Using an online survey (n = 512) in Taiwan, the proposed model is examined by a partial least squares structural equation modeling analysis. The findings show that while ad irritation has a positive effect on ad avoidance, reciprocal altruism can significantly reduce both ad irritation and avoidance. However, source attractiveness fails to mitigate ad irritation and avoidance. Theoretical and managerial implications of these findings are discussed, and several solutions for reducing ad irritation and avoidance are provided.

Good governance can be realized by various improvements continuing to be made by the government to achieve high performance by perfecting the overall state administration system. This study aimed at obtaining empirical evidence regarding the influence of the internal control system and participation in preparing budgets on individual performance with motivation as moderating. This study was conducted at 30 Bangli District Regional Organizations (OPD) collected through questionnaires. The samples were 60 people through non-probability sampling. This study was tested using a structural equation model (Structural Equation Modeling-SEM) based on variance or Component-based SEM with a Smart-PLS 3.0 analysis tool. The result showed that the internal control system has a significant positive effect on individual performance. Budgeting participation has a positive effect but not significant on individual performance. The result showed that work motivation can strengthen the internal control system and participation in compiling budgets on individual performance.

This analysis aims to display inflation, exchange rates of currencies, SBI, and the Dow Jones Index on IHSG and IDX from 2013 to 2018. Quantitative testing approaches using the SmartPLS 3 technology and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques. Inflation has a large positive effect on the JCI. Which indicates that as inflation rises, the JCI value falls. Exchange rates significantly impact the JCI. Therefore, the exchange rate indicator directly affects the path of the high exchange rate, which reduces the JCI figure. The SBI rate has no Impact and negative on JCI. This means JCI would not be affected by the increased number of SBI interest rates. For the Dow Jones Index, the JCI is significantly positive. Which suggests that the Dow Jones index's rise has an effect on the JCI. The Dow Jones Index has the most impact on work motivation, at 0.982, in contrast to the inflation, exchange rate, and SBI interest rate variables against the IHSG of IDX from 2013 to 2018.
