Providing teaching and learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic has been a global challenge, and the government has responded to this issue by conducting distance learning using technology. This study introduces and evaluates gamification learning in economics employing to enhance the students’ achievements. This study elaborates on a new learning model, “e-crowdwar mobile game,” that can be used for distance learning activities. This research adopted classroom action research to gain an understanding of the implementation of this new model for students’ achievement. The work involved senior high school students in several regions in East Java of Indonesia. Accordingly, the data were analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The findings indicate that the implementation of gamification learning faces some difficulties in both teachers and students. However, this new model outperforms the conventional learning model with the teacher-centered approach, and it can be considered an alternative learning model for distance learning using technology.   Keywords: E-crowdwar, gamification learning, mobile-Learning, students’ achievements

ABSTRAKPenulisan makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran online dalam pemahaman dan minat siswa dalam mempelajari konsep-konsep fisika dan untuk respon siswa mengenai penerapan media pembelajaran online, pemerintah memberlakukan kebijakan jarak sosial atau dikenal sebagai jarak fisik dan oleh karena itu sekolah memutuskan untuk belajar jarak jauh yang ditakuti selama pandemi menggunakan media pembelajaran online minat belajar siswa akan menurun.Dari hasil survai menggunakan kuesioner di google form terhadap siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas diperoleh 18,8% setuju menggunakan media pembelajaran online dan 52,75% tidak setuju menggnakan media pembelajran online. dari hasil data tersebut dikatakan "tidak kuat" ini menunjukkan respon siswa segatif terhadap menggunakan media pembelajran online. minat belajar siswa lebih meningkat bila pembelajaran online dilakukan di dalam kelas. selama pandemi berlangsung sebaiknya pendidik atau guru lebih keatif dalam melakukan pemebelajaran online dirumah agar siswa tidak merasa bosan dan semangat saat sedang pembelajaran jarak jauh. sehingga minat belajar siswa dapat meningkat dan memahami konsep fisik  Kata kunci: covid 19; pembelajaran; fisika. ABSTRACTWriting this paper aims to determine the effect of online learning media in students' understanding and interest in learning the concepts of physics and for student responses regarding the application of online learning media, the government imposed social distancing policy or known as physical distancing and therefore schools decided to distance learning feared during the pandemic using online learning media student learning interest will decrease. From the survey results using a questionnaire on the Google form of high school students obtained 18.8% agreed to use online learning media and 52.75% did not agree to use online learning media. from the results of the data it is said "not strong" this shows the response of students to use the online learning media. Student interest in learning increases when online learning is done in the classroom. Learning mathematics has a significant contribution to the students’ daily activities, one of which is on social arithmetic topic. The implementation of social arithmetic, in general, is mostly found in buying-selling and banking activities. However, students still find difficulties in understanding this topic. It is because the teaching and learning activities still use a conventional approach, which restricts the students to imagine how it is implemented in daily life. Therefore, this paper aims to describe the innovative learning activities of social arithmetic among junior high school students using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach. This research was conducted in three meetings, and the researcher acted as the teacher in the class. The results showed that the innovative learning of social arithmetic using the RME approach and word problems could improve the students’ learning outcomes with an average score of 81.92% and 92.59% of the total of students scored above passing grade.

The purpose of this research is to develop contextual mathematical thinking learning model which is valid, practical and effective based on the theoretical reviews and its support to enhance higher-order thinking ability. This study is a research and development (R & D) with three main phases: investigation, development, and implementation. The experiment consisted of 78 Junior High School students who were divided into two groups, namely experimental group and control group. The model development phase results the syntax of contextual mathematical thinking learning model which are as follows: (1) presentation of the contextual problems; (2) asking the critical and analytical questions; (3) individual and group investigation; (4) presentation and discussion; (5) reflection; and (6) higher-order thinking test. The implementation phase concludes the contextual mathematical thinking learning model which can be applied effectively to enhance the students’ higher-order thinking ability. This model is able to intensify higher-order thinking ability at high category. The observation of learning activities was seen in the main elements of learning model which are syntax, social system, reaction principle, support system, instructional impact, and accompanist impact. The three main elements were observed by the observer and showed an average in the good category: syntax has an average of 3.5, social system has an average of 3.52, and reaction principle has an average of 3.47. This model is recommended for mathematics learning activities in the classroom to support the improvement of higher-order thinking ability. Contextual problems can be presented to the local cultural context that allows students to learn mathematics in a real context.

The teaching of second language or the third make sociolinguistic problem. For most Indonesian people, Indonesian language is the second or third language. The teaching of of Indonesian language is integrated in Indonesian language subject that starts from elementary to high school. Indonesian language is a main language in Indonesian especially in education institutes. It is undebieble fact that students use another language at Gonzaga Junior High School Tomohon because of the influence of social and culture background. Code mixing is caused by some factors, namely (1) subject, (2) describing, (3) daily routine in teaching and learning activities in Junior High School Catholic Gonzaga Tomohon has been the main issue in their research.This research is aimed to explain about kinds of code mixing and factors that cause the code mixing in teaching and learning activities by Junior High School Students Catholic Gonzaga Tomohon.Theories used for this research is the theory of speech community, bilingual  theory , theory of code and  code mixing. This research is a descriptive qualitative. The research data is done with the following method of observation technic. The data in this research is the student speech that contains code mixing. The data analysis that use is qualitative analysis with equal method.The result of this research shows that speech act of the students in Gonzaga Junior High School of Tomohon found code mixing. The form of code mixing that using are Indonesian, English and Manado Malay. Based on the result of this research can concluding that kinds of code mixing are code mixing in lexical form, frasa form and clausa form. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a Contextual Learning Model (CTL) on the Communication Capabilities of Mathematics Students at 35 State Junior High Schools in Palembang. The population in this study were grade VII students of SMP Negeri 35 Palembang. Sampling in the study used Clauster Sampling and the selected class was Class VII.5, taken 30 people as the control class and Class VIII.3, up 30 people as the experimental class at SMP 35 Palembang. This research uses the True Experimental Desigh method in the form of Posttest Only Control Design. Data collection was carried out using the written test method in the form of an interesting essay on mathematical communication indicators, data analysis was performed with a statistical test t with a real level (∝) = 5%. Based on the results of the final analysis in this study, tcount = 2.729> ttable (0.05: 58) = 2.002 so that H0 is rejected, it can be concluded as a Contextual Teaching and Learning Model (CTL) Against the Mathematical Communication Capabilities of 35 State Junior High School Students in Palembang.

La globalización, las nuevas tecnologías, la migración, la competencia internacional, los desarrollos del mercado, los desafíos transnacionales, ambientales y políticos son factores que rigen la adquisición de las habilidades y el conocimiento que los estudiantes necesitan, para sobrevivir y salir airosos durante la pandemia ocasionada por la enfermedad causada por el virus SARS-COV2. La pandemia ha acelerado muchos problemas subyacentes en torno a las escuelas secundarias en Argentina y el desafío de preparar a los estudiantes para el trabajo, la ciudadanía y la vida en el siglo XXI. A través de este estudio buscamos conocer cómo las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TICs) son utilizadas por estudiantes de Educación Secundaria de un colegio público de la provincia de Buenos Aires, más específicamente los recursos digitales imperantes que son comunes en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Para ello, combinamos metodología cuantitativa y cualitativa. Por un lado, se ha realizado una investigación descriptiva desde y hacia la metodología cuantitativa, en la cual la recolección de datos se ha realizado a través de un cuestionario elaborado para este estudio, el cual fue respondido por un total de 80 estudiantes. Los resultados obtenidos revelan que el teléfono celular y en cuanto a las aplicaciones que estos permiten, el WhatsApp ha sido la herramienta que más utilizan. Por otro lado, mediante un análisis cualitativo realizamos una entrevista con una profesora para conocer su perspectiva. Para ello, denotamos, en términos generales, como resultado de ambos análisis, que el sistema no se preparó, a pesar de los planes gubernamentales implementados, visibilizando la compleja realidad educativa argentina. Globalization, new technologies, migration, international competition, market developments, transnational, environmental and political challenges are all factors that govern the acquisition of the skills and knowledge that students need to survive and get out graceful during the pandemic occasioned by the disease caused by the SARS-COV2 virus. The pandemic has accelerated many underlying issues surrounding high schools in Argentina and the challenge of preparing students for work, citizenship, and life in the 21st century.  Through this study we seek to learn about how Technology of the Information and Communication (ICTs) are used by Secondary Education students of a public school in the province of Buenos Aires, specifically the prevailing digital resources that are common in the teaching-learning process.  For this purpose, we combine quantitative and qualitative methodology. On the one hand, a descriptive investigation has been performed from and towards the quantitative methodology, in which the data collection has been accomplished through a questionnaire prepared for this study, which was answered by a total of 80 students. The results obtained reveal that the cell phone and, in terms of the applications that they allow, WhatsApp has been the tool they use the most. On the other hand, through a qualitative analysis, we conducted an interview with a teacher to find out her perspective. To do this, we denote, in general terms, that ,as a result of both analysis, the system was not prepared, despite the government plans implemented, making visible the complex argentine educational reality.

RESUMO:Neste artigo, relata-se uma investigação inicial que pretendeu qualificar a elaboração e a facilidade de uso de recursos didáticos para Educação a Distância (EAD) na área de Letras/Língua Portuguesa e Leitura. Apresentam-se o planejamento do recurso, a seleção de materiais e as noções teóricas envolvidas e o desenho inicial da atividade, que consistiu em ler e avaliar a complexidade de um conjunto de textos curtos. A experiência revelou sucesso apenas para um pequeno grupo controlado de alunos e insucesso em grande grupo, sem controle. Para a melhoria do recurso criado e da sua implementação didática, indica-se a necessidade de realização de atividades prévias presenciais de estudo com os grupos envolvidos e de avaliação de resultados com os alunos respondentes após a tarefa realizada.PALAVRAS-CHAVE: ambientes digitais; complexidade textual; recursos de EAD; vocabulário. ABSTRACT: In this paper, we describe an initial investigation that intended to qualify the elaboration and usability of didactic resources for Distance Learning (DL) in the field of Languages/Portuguese Language and Reading. We present the planning of the resource, the selection of materials and the theoretical notions involved, and the initial design of the activity, which consisted in reading and evaluating the complexity of a set of short texts. The experience was successful only for a small controlled group of students and unsuccessful for the large uncontrolled group. In order to improve the devised resource and implement it didactically, there is the need to perform previous presential learning activities with the involved groups and proceed with the student’s evaluation of the results after the task is accomplished.KEYWORDS: digital environments; textual complexity; distance learning resources; vocabulary.
