Managerial skill is an ability to perform a job base on a competence in which is done by objective and in collaboration with others. In education, leader’s skill of school as manager is an ability of school leader to do a tasks base on the ability competence in leading the objective through t he others. Whereas, the school leader who has the competence is getting of best of a work qualification that is agree with a work and in reality. The school leader who has a competence be able to do in his job effectively and efficiently. This study aims to describe the managerial skill of district head to improve the civil servant performance in Ciawi District Bogor Regency. There are four managerial skills necessarily mastered by district head, namely conceptual skill, administrative skill, human relationship skill, and technical skill. The performance of civil servants consists of quality of work, pomptnees, initiative, capability, and communication. The method of this research is associative-quantitative in order to statistically test the relationship of variables by using Rank Spearman Correlation with SPSS version 18. The result of this research indicates coefficient correlation of the managerial skill of district head to the civil servant performance 0.699, categorized as strong. By t-test, it is gained t-counted 5.948 and t-table (N=27) 2.886; t-counted > t-table means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. There is a strong relationship of managerial skill of district head to the civil servant performance. Coefficient determination indicates 48.8% that means contribution of the managerial skill of district head to the civil servant performance 48.8%. By counting Weight Mean Score, the managerial skill of district head gains the mean score 4.15 categorized as good. The civil servant performance gains the mean score 4.15 categorized as good.Keywords: Managerial Skill, District Head, Civil Servant Performance.

Entrepreneurship skills are an individual’s ability to make business in a profitable way. The study focused on to develop a tool to measure the entrepreneurial skill among the agripreneurs by reviewing of literature. Item selection and scoring procedure had been included in this study. Based on the reliability and validity testing, this study finalized the instruments to yielding seven indicators, namely, marketing dimension, psychological magnitude, managerial skill, behavioural skill, technical skill, communication competency, cognitive skill. It is recommended that future researchers apply and thereby extend the developed measure by cross-examining the instruments presented in this study across different entrepreneurs study. The results obtained will be helpful in planning and implementing the capacity development programmes. Among seven indictors and the respective sub indicators, the indicators and sub indicators having above 0.75 relative weightage score had taken for final index. The study found that marketing skill (0.88), psychological magnitude (0.89), behavioural skill (0.79), technical skill (0.83), communication competency (0.93) and cognitive skill (0.89) were the major skill of the agri entrepreneurs, should possess to run their business effectively and efficiently.

Peranan manajer kantor bagi organisasi sangat penting. Perbincangan tentang manajer kantor menjadi penting mengingat unit yang dipimpinnya. yaitu kantor, menentukan kelancaran organisasi dalam mencapai tujuannya. Manajer kantor merupakan pendamping pucuk pirnpinan, ia harus mampu menjadikan kantor sebagai pendukung bagi organisasi dalam melakukan berbagai macam aktivitas dalam rangka mencapai tujuan.Untuk itu diperlukan orang yang tepat pada jabatan ini. Berkenaan dengan ltu, maka organisasi memerlukan deskripsi tentang kompetensi manajer kantor masa kini, sebagai upaya untuk menempatkan orang yang tepat pada jabatan ini. Manajer yang tidak memenuhi kompetensi menyebabkan kantor tidak berfungsi seperti yang diharapkan. Kantor tidak akan berfungsi sebagai unit yang memper1ancar aktivitas, malahan sebaliknya justru menjadi penghambat bagi organisasi dalam melakukan aktivitasnya.Untuk merumuskan kompetensi manajer kantor maka pertama-tama perlu dideskripsikan dulu tentang ruang iingkup tugas kantor dan menajer kantor, serta tantangan-tantangan manajemen perkantoran di masa kini. This paper investigates the determinants of managerial skill spillover from FDI enterprise to SMEs Vietnam. By using expert interviewing method and survey, the paper initially identifies and evaluates factors affecting the transfer of managerial skills from FDI enterprises to SEMs in Vietnam. These factors include: Attitude and willingness to receive the spillover; Managerial capacity; Spillover channels and environment supporting spillover. Salah satu program yang dapat diselenggarakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran adalah pemberdayaan guru melalui supervisi akademik. Supervisi akademik merupakan serangkaian kegiatan membantu guru mengembangkan kemampuannya dalam proses pembelajaran demi mencapai tujuan akademik. Masih banyak dilema yang terjadi di dalam pelaksanaan supervisi akademik di sekolah, sehingga supervisi akademik yang dilaksanakan tidak mencapai tujuan dan sasaran. Supervisor dan guru yang tidak memahami maksud dari supervisi akademik, supervisor yang tidak kompeten dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, dan lain sebagainya. Supervisi akademik yang baik harus mampu membuat guru semakin kompeten, yaitu guru semakin menguasai kompetensinya, baik kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional, dan kompetensi sosial. Untuk mewujudkan itu dituntut hadirnya supervisor yang baik dan ideal. Menurut Alfonso, Firth, dan Neville (1981) berangkat dari konsep keterampilan administrator yang efektif sebagaimana dikemukakan oleh Katz (1955) dan Mann (1965), ada tiga keterampilan yang harus dimiliki oleh supervisor akademik. Pertama, keterampilan teknis (technical skill). Kedua, keterampilan hubungan kemanusiaan (human relation skill). Ketiga, keterampilan manajerial (managerial skill).

It seems that most small farmers focus on technical skills rather than on conceptual skills, as technical skills are seen to contribute most to the performance of the small farm. The need for this research came from this perception and, therefore, the aim of this article is to determine the small farmers’ managerial skills level in the Tshwane area of Gauteng. A quantitative survey was conducted amongst 50 small farmers in the Tshwane area of Gauteng. The conducted research established that most small farmers focus on technical skills rather than on conceptual skills. Small farmers also indicated that they need training in marketing and financial management which are conceptual skills

This research aims to investigate the influence of the lecturers’ conceptual skills, the lecturers’ interpersonal skills, and the lecturers’ technical skills on the students’ learning achievement. The sample was the students of the Administration Hotel program study. The result of the t-test using SPSS 17 for all of the independent variables (conceptual skill= 0.000, interpersonal skill= 0.001, and technical skill= 0.044) showed that hypothesis 1 was proven. It means that the lecturers’ conceptual skills, interpersonal skills, and technical skills influenced the students’ learning achievement. The result of the t-test was supported by the result of the F-test which was very significant (=0.000). The influence of the independent variables (X) on the dependent variable (Y) was 68.7%. The result of the t-test showed that hypothesis 2, where the lecturers’ conceptual skill influenced the students’ learning achievement significantly, was also proven.

<em>This research aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial competency towards the business performance of micro and small scale coffee shop in Medan City. Entrepreneurial competency reflected by managerial skill, conceptual skill, social skill, decision making skill and time managerial skill. Business performance reflected by income, profit and sales volume. This research used 60 data samples of coffee shop consist of 30 unit micro scale and 30 unit small scale that were collected through snowball sampling in Medan City from February 2020 until March 2020. The data were analyzed by SEM-PLS analysis with SMART PLS 3 software. The result showed that the business performance was influenced by entrepreneurial competency both in micro and small scale model.</em>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun model kompetensi kewirausahaan pada industri kreatif (klaster industri makanan dan minuman) untuk mendukung pariwisata desa berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian yaitu Kota Batu Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian in diketahui bahwa model kompetensi kewirausahaan pada industri kreatif (klaster industri makanan dan minuman) untuk mendukung pariwisata desa berkelanjutan adalah sebagai berikut. a) Managerial skill. Pelaku industri kreatif harus mampu menjalankan fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakkan dan pengawasan agar bisnis yang dijalankannya dapat mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan.b) Conceptual skill. Kemampuan untuk merumuskan tujuan, kebijakan dan strategi bisnis yakni merupakan landasan utama menuju pelaku industri kreatif sukses. c) Human skill. Supel, mudah bergaul, simpati dan empati kepada orang lain adalah modal keterampilan yang sangat mendukung kita menuju keberhasilan berbisnis. d) Decision making skill. Sebagai seorang pelaku industri kreatif, seringkali dihadapkan pada kondisi ketidakpastian. e) Time managerial skill. Keterampilan mengelola waktu dapat memperlancar pelaksanaan pekerjaan dan rencana yang telah digariskan.
