This study aimed to examine the correlation between career capital and worklife balance towards the employees of PT Petrokimia Gresik. The total sample was 102 official employees in the office of PT Petrokimia Gresik. Data were collected using simple random sampling technique; the career capital scale was based on Arthur and Inkson theory (2001), while the work-life balance scale was transadapted from Fisher's theory (2009). The itemtotal correlation coefficient was calculated using Product Moment Pearson and the reliability was examined using internal consistency technique. The result showed the Product Moment correlation (r) was 0,522 with p = 0,000, showing the positive linear correlation was at medium range between the two variables. This means, the higher the career capital of the employees, the higher their work-life balance. Otherwise, the lower career capital of the employees, the lower their work-life balance.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Work Life Balance, Job Satisfaction, Engagement, and Motivation on the Commitment of BLU UPTD Trans Semarang Employees. The population in this study were BLU UPTD Trans Semarang employees totaling 187 employees. The sample used was 128 employees. The sampling technique in this study used probability sampling, where the sampling used was proportionate random sampling. The results showed that work life balance had a positive and significant effect on employee commitment, job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on employee commitment, engagement had a positive and significant effect on employee commitment, and motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee commitment. Can be proven on the results of multiple linear regression tests that is the entire result sig <from 0.05. This means that all hypotheses are accepted. Suggestions from this research are to be able to improve all indicators of work life balance, job satisfaction, engagement and motivation so that employee commitment is getting better and more improved.

Work-life balance has become a challenge in today’s fast paced workplaces, leading to work-life conflicts and adoption of unsustainable work practices by employees. Technological advancement has instilled an ‘always on’ attitude among employees, which has led to extended office hours as they are never disconnected from their work whether at home or on a holiday since they have access to office mails and messages all the time. This is the main cause of stress and burnout among the employees. This paper is an attempt to analyse the work life balance of the Academicians working in the business schools in UAE. It further explores the influence of gender on job satisfaction levels related to work life integration among employees. For the data analysis a pilot survey was conducted on respondents based on simple random sampling to get the estimate of work life balance of employees. The analysis revealed that both male and female employees find it difficult to maintain a balance between personal and professional life. Female employees had greater challenges as they had additional household responsibilities and family commitments, which makes it difficult for them to work overtime in the organization, or on weekends and holidays. These facts can be used as an input for the government departments in UAE which continuously strive to bring around policies to enhance the work life balance of employees across all the sectors in UAE

Work-family conflict adalah suatu keadaan dimana terjadi tekanan antara dua peran, yaitu peran individu atas pekerjaan dan keluarga yang tidak dapat seimbang, sedangkan work-life balance adalah suatu keadaan ketika individu mampu menyeimbangkan peran (antara peran di pekerjaan dan keluarga). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work-family conflict terhadap work-life balance pada prajurit wanita TNI-AL di Surabaya. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala work-family conflict (Netemeyer) dan skala work-life balance (Fisher) yang telah diadaptasi versi bahasa Indonesia. Data penelitian diperoleh dari 50 prajurit wanita TNI AL yang telah berkeluarga. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling. Dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis analisis regresi linier sederhana, didapatkan hasil bahwa (1) work-family conflict pada prajurit wanita TNI-AL di Surabaya berada dalam kategori sedang, (2) work-life balance pada prajurit wanita TNI-AL di Surabaya berada dalam kategori tinggi, dan (3) work-family conflict tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap work-life balance pada prajurit TNI-AL di Surabaya.

The aim of the study was to determine the extent to which work-life balance affects the job satisfaction of employees in a paper manufacturing company. Job satisfaction and work-life balance are key ingredients that impact on employees’ work and personal lives, including organizational productivity. The study is quantitative and a survey design was adopted, with a sample size of 70 employees. Both, descriptive and inferential statistics were utilized. The simple random sampling technique was adopted and the adequacy of the sample was assessed using the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Measure and Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity. A self-developed questionnaire was utilized and, the validity and reliability were determined. The first two hypotheses were partially accepted, one was confirmed and, one was rejected. The results indicate that with work-life balance in this organisation, there is contentment with flexible work arrangement and employee wellness and; with job satisfaction, staff are far more content with working conditions than any of the other constructs of the study. A positive relationship exists between work-life balance and job satisfaction. The findings point to a presence of factors that executives, and policy-makers need to take cognizance of, for organisational benefit, corporate social responsibility, corporate governance and for the future direction.

Instansi Pemerintah dalam hal ini Kantor Pertanahan Kabupaten Kubu Raya dituntut untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat secara maksimal, sehingga pegawai yang memiliki organizational citizenship behavior sangat diperlukan. Untuk itu, pihak manajemen atau pimpinan harus memperhatikan hal-hal yang dapat mempengaruhinya, antara lain gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan pemimpinnya dan work life balance yang dialami pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis model yang berhubungan dengan pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Work Life Balance terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan tipe penelitian penjelasan (explanatory research). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Pegawai Pemerintah Non Pegawai Sipil Negeri pada Kantor Pertanahan Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Jumlah responden sebanyak 39 pegawai dengan menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa baik gaya kepemimpinan transpormasional maupun work life balance, keduanya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap organizational citizenship behavior pegawai Kantor Pertanahan Kabupaten Kubu Raya.Kata kunci : Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Work Life Balance, dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Tingkat Work Life Balance (WLB) dan Penilaian Kinerja Terhadap Motivasi Kerja dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB)  karyawan PT. Buma Apparel Industry Subang. Berdasarkan pengamatan dilapangan, peneliti menemukan adanya data turn over karyawan yang tinggi, sehingga diduga unsur tersebut termasuk kedalam indikator variabel-variabel yang teliti. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan angket kepada karyawan yang berjumlah 100 responden. Metode sampling yang digunakan yaitu simple random sampling (Becker & Doyle, 2016). Deskripsi work life balance tertinggi pada indikator, pk merasa kurang ditilai oleh atasan pada indikator, sedangkan indikator tertinggi motivasi pada insentif, dan terendah pada persepsi gaji, sedangkan indikator OCB terendah pada indikator perilaku melebihi. Berdasarkan pengolahan data angket dengan metode analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan derajat kepercayaan  95 % (alfa 0,05) dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat Work Life Balance karyawan PT. Buma Apparel Industry berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat Motivasi dengan nilai koefisien beta sebesar 0,543. Sedangkan pengaruh Penilaian Kinerja terhadap motivasi tidak signifikan. Pengaruh WLB dan PK terhadap OCB tidak signifikan (0,1), sedangkan tingkat motivasi terhadap OCB berpengaruh sebesar 0,2 yang temasuk kategori hubungan korelasi rendah.

The objective of this research is to know the effect of work life balance and job sastisfaction toward teacher’s loyalty of the private vocational high school at cakung district east Jakarta.The research was conducted using survey method with quantitative approach and path analysis technique. The population of this research is 772 teachers. Research samples selected as much as 263 teachers using simple random sampling technique. The data obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis in this research it is concluded: (1) the work life balance have positive direct effect to loyalty; (2) job sastisfaction have positive direct effect to loyalty; (3) the work life balance have positive direct effect to job sastisfaction. The loyalty can be improved through improvement of work life balance and job sastisfaction.

This study aims to examine the effect of work life balance, personality and organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior. The sample used in this study was 165 respondents. The sampling technique uses incidental sampling. Data analysis methods use descriptive analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis using IBM SPSS. The results showed that work life balance was not significantly positive effect, while personality and organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment was able to mediate the relationship between work life balance and personality on organizational citizenship behavior. The suggestion from this research is that the company should be able to develop more policies that encourage employees to be eager to contribute. For further research that is examining the same aspects to use respondents who have a position in a relatively high job, such as supervisors and managers. To be compared between employees who have positions and not have positions.

 Background: Work-life balance (WLB) can be considered as the systematic management of three important components like work-life conflict, work-life interference and work-life convergence. Objective: This study tries to examine the work-life balance of the working fathers involved in small business enterprises in Kathmandu valley. Method: Both descriptive and inferential analysis is used in the study which showed various results. The study adopted the descriptive approach. Respondents were sampled from working fathers in small business enterprises in Kathmandu valley. Non probability sampling technique was used to select 405 respondents. The questionnaire was used for data collection. Descriptive as well as inferential statistics were used for data analysis. Result: The study found that age, education level, business trainings and income level has positive significant relationship with work-life balance. The finding of this study shows that satisfaction and motivation towards working fathers is important factors for balancing the work-life and family life.  Conclusion and Recommendation: The paper recommends that there should be inclusive climate in the workplace and policies supporting work-life balance should be forwarded.
