By using an automatic piston ring separator based on advanced computer vision detection technology, the end gaps of piston rings can be automatically measured with high efficiency and accuracy. To get a complete and accurate image of the end gap as well as measurement reliability, the positioning of the end gap of a piston ring must be accurate every time it is photographed. During the loading process, a mechanical structure and pneumatic actuators are used to provide the correct initial position and guide the motion. The actuators also control the deflection of the piston ring and get the top surface levels of the piston rings evened up at the detection position to ensure the correct detection position and imaging object plane. This guarantees the quality of the images of the end gaps. Data compensation is carried out to decrease the system errors arising from manufacturing errors in ring gauges and increasemeasurement accuracy. Experimental results show that the measurement accuracy meets the demands well, and measurement reliability is good.

In a four stroke combustion engine, there are three piston rings, namely two compression piston rings and one lubrication control piston ring. The piston compression ring serves to maintain the combustion pressure, while the piston ring lubrication regulator functions to lubricate the combustion chamber during the energy change process so that the piston will run back and forth in the combustion chamber smoothly. Damage that occurs to the piston ring can be in the form of a broken piston ring, or a scratched or worn piston ring. These things can reduce the quality of the energy transfer process. The piston ring is broken because the ring is too brittle. Vibration that occurs in the piston when combustion occurs at full load increases the possibility of a fracture process in the piston ring. The brittleness of the piston ring is strongly influenced by the material used. To overcome this, a hard but not stiff material is needed. Keywords: Hardness, mileage, Vicker test

After completing the production of preserved eggs, traditionally, the degree of gelling is judged by allowing workers to tap the preserved eggs with their fingers and sense the resulting oscillations. The amount of oscillation is used for the quality classification. This traditional method produces varying results owing to the differences in the sensitivity of the individual workers, who are not objective. In this study, dielectric detection technology was used to classify the preserved eggs nondestructively. The impedance in the frequency range of 2–300 kHz was resolved into resistance and reactance, and was plotted on a Nyquist diagram. Next, the diagram curve was fitted in order to obtain the equivalent circuit, and the difference in the compositions of the equivalent circuits corresponding to gelled and non-gelled preserved eggs was analyzed. A preserved egg can be considered an RLC series circuit, and its decay rate is consistent with the decay rate given by mechanical vibration theory. The Nyquist diagrams for the resistance and reactance of preserved eggs clearly showed that the resistance and reactance of gelled and non-gelled eggs were quite different, and the classification of the eggs was performed using Bayesian network (BN). The results showed that a BN classifier with two variables, i.e., resistance and reactance, can be used to classify preserved eggs as gelled or non-gelled, with an accuracy of 81.0% and a kappa value of 0.62. Thus, a BN classifier based on resistance and reactance demonstrates the ability to classify the quality of preserved egg gel. This research provides a nondestructive method for the inspection of the quality of preserved egg gel, and provides a theoretical basis for the development of an automated preserved egg inspection system that can be used as the scientific basis for the determination of the quality of preserved eggs.

Abstract Introduction: On-boat resuscitation can be applied by lifeguards in an inflatable rescue boat (IRB). Due to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-COV-2) and recommendations for the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), prehospital care procedures need to be re-evaluated. The objective of this study was to determine how the use of PPE influences the amount of preparation time needed before beginning actual resuscitation and the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR; QCPR) on an IRB. Methods: Three CPR tests were performed by 14 lifeguards, in teams of two, wearing different PPE: (1) Basic PPE (B-PPE): gloves, a mask, and protective glasses; (2) Full PPE (F-PPE): B-PPE + a waterproof apron; and (3) Basic PPE + plastic blanket (B+PPE). On-boat resuscitation using a bag-valve-mask (BVM) and high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter was performed sailing at 20km/hour. Results: Using B-PPE takes less time and is significantly faster than F-PPE (B-PPE 17 [SD = 2] seconds versus F-PPE 69 [SD = 17] seconds; P = .001), and the use of B+PPE is slightly higher (B-PPE 17 [SD = 2] seconds versus B+PPE 34 [SD = 6] seconds; P = .002). The QCPR remained similar in all three scenarios (P >.05), reaching values over 79%. Conclusion: The use of PPE during on-board resuscitation is feasible and does not interfere with quality when performed by trained lifeguards. The use of a plastic blanket could be a quick and easy alternative to offer extra protection to lifeguards during CPR on an IRB.

In order to solve the problems of the existing product data quality, such as validation custom trival, lack of high efficiency and flexibility, etc. The validation method of product data quality (PDQ) based on class was proposed in NX software environment, the representation of validation rules classes of product data quality, validation rules customization and implementation of validation process were introduced in detail in this study. Finally, an application case was employed to verify the practicability and effectiveness of the proposed method.

The newly approved High Efficiency Video Coding Standard (HEVC) includes temporal sub-layering feature, which provides temporal scalability. Two types of pictures — Temporal Sub-layer Access Pictures and Step-wise Temporal Sub-layer Access Pictures are provided for this purpose. This paper utilizes the temporal scalability in HEVC to provide bandwidth adaptive HTTP streaming. We describe our HTTP streaming algorithm, which is media timeline aware and which dynamically switches temporal sub-layers on the server side. We performed subjective tests to determine user perception regarding acceptable frame rates when using temporal scalability of HEVC. These results are used to control the algorithm's temporal switching behavior to provide a good quality of experience to the user. We applied Internet and 3GPP error-delay patterns to validate the performance of our algorithm.

Autoinflammatory diseases (AIDs) are a heterogeneous group of rare genetically determined conditions, the main manifestations of which are episodes of fever in combination with other signs of systemic inflammation: skin rashes, musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, damage to the organs of vision, hearing, etc., as well as acute phase markers and the absence of autoantibodies. The use of biological therapy, especially inhibitors of interleukin 1 (iIL1), in most common monogenic AIDs (mAID) – FMF, TRAPS, HIDS/MKD, CAPS – has shown its high efficiency and led to significant progress in the treatment of these patients. Currently, iIL1 are the first-line drugs for mAIDs therapy, primarily CAPS. In the case of their ineffectiveness or intolerance in certain situations, other biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs can also be used – inhibitors of tumor necrosis factor α and iIL6, but this issue needs further investigation. The article describes a patient with mAID, in whom the diagnosis was made more than 40 years after the onset; administration of targeted therapy even in the late stages of the disease led to a significant improvement in many symptoms and quality of life.

In aquaculture, constructed wetland (CW) has recently attracted attention for use in effluent purification due to its low running costs, high efficiency and convenient operation,. However, less data are available regarding the long-term efficiency of farm-scale CW for cleaning effluents from inland freshwater fish farms. This study investigated the effectiveness of CW for the removal of nutrients, organic matter, phytoplankton, heavy metals and microbial contaminants in effluents from a blunt snout bream (Megalobrama amblycephala) farm during 2013–2018. In the study, we built a farm-scale vertical subsurface flow CW which connected with a fish pond, and its performance was evaluated during the later stage of fish farming. The results show that CW improved the water quality of the fish culture substantially. This system was effective in the removal of nutrients, with a removal rate of 21.43–47.19% for total phosphorus (TP), 17.66–53.54% for total nitrogen (TN), 32.85–53.36% for NH4+-N, 33.01–53.28% NH3-N, 30.32–56.01% for NO3−-N and 42.75–63.85% for NO2−-N. Meanwhile, the chlorophyll a (Chla) concentration was significantly reduced when the farming water flowed through the CW, with a 49.69–62.01% reduction during 2013–2018. However, the CW system only had a modest effect on the chemical oxygen demand (COD) in the aquaculture effluents. Furthermore, concentrations of copper (Cu) and lead (Pb) were reduced by 39.85% and 55.91%, respectively. A microbial contaminants test showed that the counts of total coliform (TC) and fecal coliform (FC) were reduced by 55.93% and 48.35%, respectively. In addition, the fish in the CW-connected pond showed better growth performance than those in the control pond. These results indicate that CW can effectively reduce the loads of nutrients, phytoplankton, metals, and microbial contaminants in effluents, and improve the water quality of fish ponds. Therefore, the application of CW in intensive fish culture systems may provide an advantageous alternative for achieving environmental sustainability.

<p>The purpose of this work was to determine the effect of rock climbing as a means of adaptive physical education on behavior, emotional state, coordination of movements and quality of life of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Material and methods: Five children aged 8-9 with ASD participated in the experiment. All children who were involved in rock climbing had the same name. low-function autism (disability of subgroup A). They did not speak, they could neither read nor write, had problematic behavior, stereotyped movements, a large number of inappropriate movements, impaired coordination of movements, aggression and autoaggression. The children attended classes on rock climbing 2 times a week for 40 minutes. on a rock climbing bridge in Lviv from September 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018. Classes were individual. Each of them started with warm-up (5 minutes), in the main part of the children were taught Bouldering (10 min.) And worked on high tracks up to 14 m (25 min.). Prior to the beginning of classes (August 2017), parents' questionnaires were conducted concerning the psychophysical status of children who were included in the experiment. The questionnaire was filled up by parents every three months during the experiment, which led to changes in the psychophysical state of their children. Results: Based on the results of an expert assessment of the psychophysical condition of children with RAS attending climbing classes, it can be argued that, against the backdrop of growth in the results of the skills of movements, the logic of passing the distance, the speed of solving motor tasks, a significant increase in positive emotions, there is a significant decrease in problem behavior. Climbing activities contribute to a significant increase in the quality of life of both children from the ASD and their parents. The results of the influence of the duration of classes on the components of the behavior of the children under study by multidimensional dispersion analysis showed a significant impact on the duration of occupations on various components of child behavior (p &lt;0.001). Conclusions The obtained results testify to the high efficiency of the use of rock climbing as a means of socialization of children with autism. Climbing is a powerful sensory stimulus for children with PAC. It is possible to recommend individual climbing exercises for children with ASD as an effective means of adaptive physical education.</p>
