Introduction. Inductor systems, as tools for metal processing, widely used in industrial  technologies  using the energy of powerful pulsed electromagnetic fields. Problem. A common disadvantage of the known works on the creation of tools for magnetic-pulse impact on conductive objects has the use of physical and mathematical models, in which the exciting currents do not depend on the ongoing electromagnetic processes. Such the assumption, have distorts the picture of the real energy in the working area of the inductor system. Goal. To obtain design ratios and numerical estimates of the mutual influence of exciting and induced currents of a flat inductor system with a circular solenoid located between massive well-conducting objects, moreover to carry out a theoretical analysis of electromagnetic processes in this system. Methodology. Have applied integrating Maxwell’s equations using the Laplace and Fourier-Bessel integral transformations in the approximation of the ideal conductivity of the metal objects to be processed. Results. The calculated relations for the theoretical analysis of electromagnetic processes have obtained in the high-frequency approximation. It shown that the inductance of the studied system decreases as the objects being processed approach the solenoid and increases as they move away from it. It found that for the invariability of the power indicators, of the proposed tool, a corresponding correction of the amplitude (on average up to 20 times) of the exciting current has necessary in the solenoid winding. Originality. For the first time, the tool design with a circular solenoid located between the massive metal objects has proposed for flat magnetic-pulse stamping. As a result of the theoretical analysis, the influence of electromagnetic processes on the currents flowing in the system has confirmed. Practical significance. The use of the results obtained will allow to increase the efficiency of the tool of magnetic-pulse technologies, and to reduce the energy costs for performing the specified production operations.

The aim of the research is the analysis and evaluation of the electromagnetic processes characteristics in the proposed flat rectangular system consisting of a thin solenoid-inductor located between the branches of the bifilar, thin-walled multi-turn coils. The analysis of electromagnetic processes and the obtained estimates of the excited currents are carried out. It is shown that with a minimum gap between the windings of the solenoid-inductor and the bifilar, the time functions of the exciting current and the current induced in the bifilar windings are the same, and the amplitude of the latter is maximum and equal to half the current amplitude in the inductor. It was found that the proposed system has a practical invariance of the time shape and amplitude of the induced current in a wide range of variable geometric parameters. The minimal effect of the fields of induced currents on the processes in the solenoid-inductor and the minimum losses when removing the induced signal from the bifilar windings are noted. Physically, the first is due to the asymmetry of the excited magnetic field relative to the plane of the solenoid-inductor, the second is due to a significant decrease in spurious inter-turn capacitance due to the thinness of the bifilar windings. The obtained results allow us to give practical recommendations when choosing design solutions for elements of new circuits of equipment for magnetic pulse metal processing. Does humanity progress primarily through leaders organizing and directing followers, or through trial and error by individuals free to chart their own path? For most of human history ruling classes had the capacity and the desire to tightly regiment society, to the general detriment of progress. But beginning in the 1500s, Europeans developed a series of arguments for simply leaving well enough alone. First in the form of the scientific method, then in the form of free expression, and finally in the form of the continuously, spontaneously reordered free market, people began to accept that progress is hard, and requires that an immense number of mistakes be tolerated so that we may learn from them. This book tells the story of the development of these three ideas, and for the first time tells of the mutual influence among them. It outlines the rise, and dramatic triumph, of each of these self-regulating systems, followed by a surprising rise in skepticism, especially in the economic context. Such skepticism in the 20th century was frequently costly and sometimes catastrophic. Under the right conditions, which are more frequent than generally believed, self-regulating systems in which participants organize themselves are superior. We should accept their turbulence in exchange for the immense progress they generate.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to elucidate the role that visual measures of attention to product and information and price display signage have on purchase intention. The authors assessed the effect of visual attention to the product, information or price sign on purchase intention, as measured by likelihood to buy. Design/methodology/approach – The authors used eye-tracking technology to collect data from Australian and US garden centre customers, who viewed eight plant displays in which the signs had been altered to show either price or supplemental information (16 images total). The authors compared the role of visual attention to price and information sign, and the role of visual attention to the product when either sign was present on likelihood to buy. Findings – Overall, providing product information on a sign without price elicited higher likelihood to buy than providing a sign with price. The authors found a positive relationship between visual attention to price on the display sign and likelihood to buy, but an inverse relationship between visual attention to information and likelihood to buy. Research limitations/implications – An understanding of the attention-capturing power of merchandise display elements, especially signs, has practical significance. The findings will assist retailers in creating more effective and efficient display signage content, for example, featuring the product information more prominently than the price. The study was conducted on a minimally packaged product, live plants, which may reduce the ability to generalize findings to other product types. Practical implications – The findings will assist retailers in creating more effective and efficient display signage content. The study used only one product category (plants) which may reduce the ability to generalize findings to other product types. Originality/value – The study is one of the first to use eye-tracking in a macro-level, holistic investigation of the attention-capturing value of display signage information and its relationship to likelihood to buy. Researchers, for the first time, now have the ability to empirically test the degree to which attention and decision-making are linked.

The article is devoted to an actual interdisciplinary problem at the intersection of political science and religious studies – the discourse of the political in religion, the politicization of religion, the artificial transfer of purely spiritual values, phenomena and categories into the political field in order to use religion for political purposes. The author considers the problem from two angles: (1) the politicization of religion for mercenary purposes and (2) the clergy’s political activity based on a deliberately politicized religious teaching that has a strong political platform (ideology) at its core. This study is purely theoretical, and nevertheless the author undertakes a number of empirical digressions in order to demonstrate how the politicization of religion manifests itself in the socio-political sphere of human life. Thus, the main problem of the study should be designated as a theoretical understanding and disclosure of the practical significance (i.e., risks and effects) of the religion politicization’s negativity and how it could effect on religious groups. The article identifies the objective factors of the mutual influence of religion and politics, the presence of strong political origins in a number of creeds, and the rich historical experience of the political role of faith in society.

The article for the first time examines the scenographic projects of Tetiana Medvid, which were created during the 70–90s of the XX century, in the theaters of Ukraine, with different directors, but united by one artistic technique — the creation of scenographic characters in the form of figural, architectural and textural elements of the stage scenery, which act as separate material characters and reveal the idea of the play. The purpose of the article is to find out the function of scenographic characters — created by figural, architectural and textural elements of stage scenery in the creative works of Tetiana Medvid within the system of effective scenography in terms of creating a visual image of the play. The subject of research — scenographic projects of Tetiana Medvid: “Threepenny Opera” by B. Brecht (1975), “Living Corpse” by L. Tolstoy (1975), “Do not shoot at white swans” by B. Vasilyev (1977), “Interrogation” by S. Rodionov, D. Liburkin (1979), G. Ibsen’s “Hedda Gabler” (1993), “In the Labyrinth” by V. Vynnychenko’s play “Nailed” (1996), “Christian’s Dreams” by H. Ch. Andersen, “Ole Lukoje” (1995), “Tartuffe” by Moliere (1999) on the stage of the Taras Shevchenko Kharkiv Academic Ukrainian Drama Theatre; and “Caligula” by Albert Camus (1998) at the Donetsk National Academic Ukrainian Musical and Drama Theatre named after Artem. Research methodology — use of the method of primary sources, conceptual analysis, the method of theoretical generalization. Results. It is determined that the main expressive element of most scenographic projects of T. Medvid were scenographic characters of different typological series, in particular characters in the form of figural, architectural and textural elements of stage scenery, and the basis of Tetiana Dmytrivna’s work were the principles of visual directing: idea, thought. Novelty. For the first time in Ukrainian art history, one of the typological series of the main means of expression of the outstanding scenographer — T. Medvid — was analyzed and systematized, namely — scenographic characters in the form of figural, architectural and textural elements of stage scenery. The practical significance lies in the possibility of using the presented information in scientific researches of art and theater studies, as well as collected and meaningful factual and illustrative material has the opportunity to become an integral part in further study of the work of scenographers of Ukraine.

One of the leading trends in contemporary cultural studies is the appealto the field of visual. Thepurpose of the article is to investigate the range of problems associated withthe existence, functioning of various visual practices in the urban space and the disclosure of the specifics of communication carried out through their intermediation. In urban space, there are many forms, such as monumental architecture, urban sculpture, outdoor illumination, landscape art, street art, graffiti and others. These artifacts are the subject of cultural research within different disciplines - aesthetics, cultural studies, design, and art. It may be noted that in recentdecades, significant development gets such a direction as Urban Studies, in which the focus of research serves the city. The methodology of the study includes an appeal to an interdisciplinary approach that relies on the achievements of practical cultural studies, Urban studies, and aesthetics theory by Ukrainian and Western authors. Scientific novelty consists in analyzing the connection ofactual visual practices presented in the urban space and forming of Internet activity, which facilitates the mutual influence of these spheres one on another. The author noted that urban space is gradually becoming not only interactive, but also fully assuming the characteristics of WEB 2.0, which means active rethinking and transforming the environment, urban residents involvement in decision-making that becomes a norm of everyday life. City is a kind of text that reflects changing tastes, politicaland economic factors in visualform. Town and city public spaces play an important role in shaping the interaction within society. One of the pressing problems of practical cultural studies in general and urban areas in particular, should be integrated into organization of the urban environment and design the image of the city. The practical significance lies in the fact that the results of the research can beused in developing the urban sphere in particular and in actualizing the issue of organizing the urban environment and constructing the image of the city.

As a result of the experiment, we have recorded for the first time the seasonal change in frequency parameters of Earth’s natural pulsed electromagnetic field (ENPEMF). This effect once studied thoroughly should allow to further advance a physical model of ENPEMF lithosphere component formation and would help to formulate additional stress-strained state of the rock estimation criteria for geodynamic survey methods

The article discusses the main problems of the implementation of event tourism in certain territories, which primarily include: short-term event; the scale of the event; placement in a natural area; lack of sufficient means of accommodation and services for tourists; style of events and the like. Goal. Development of an effective system of organizational and technical support for event tourism events. Methodology. The main research methods, in order to achieve the goal, are the analysis of engineering support, the classification of mobile homes for event tourism and the modeling of requirements for them based on the system analysis of event tourism technologies. Results. The organizational and technical support of event tourism activities proposed in the article will reduce the technogenic load on the local natural landscapes of natural areas in the places where event events are held. This will contribute to the formation of a higher culture, the style of their conduct, which will make it possible to undertake events of event tourism in regions that are even more attractive to a wide audience of tourists not only in our country, but also abroad. This method of organizational and technical support can also be used for holding rallies, forums, conferences and other events. Important for the success of the development of event tourism and the correct organization of organizational and engineering support is the formation of a calendar of events, which makes it possible to approach all future events in a planned manner, from the point of view of engineering and technical support, later will give its positive results. Scientific novelty. The current state of the use of mobile houses in event tourism on the territory of Ukraine is analyzed for the first time. For the first time, the calendar of the territory of the Stanishovskaya OTG of the Zhytomyr region was compiled for 2020-2021. Practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the compiled calendar of event tourism will be used by OTG "Stanishovskaya" in full and taking into account our recommendations regarding the holding of mass events.
